2008-02-16 21:32:00 After a long time, I have downloaded Windows Live Writer again, hoping to get some decent blogging from my laptop, while I am on the bed or outside. Let me go on post some dumb content and see how things work out. Apparently, this is turning out to be better than I thought. With this version of WLW, I can: Resize the image properly Add effects to the image Insert tags Insert Videos (!!) Insert Table (Cool Feature, good work team! ) and insert the “More” tag too ! It also inherits styling from my theme’s css file. I am getting more and more convinced about this! Creative Audigy 4 Problems in Windows Vista
2008-01-16 21:10:00 What exactly is wrong with Creative ? Why are they pulling back their support for recent products ? It would have been acceptable, if it was very old products like Sounds Blaster Live!, but Audigy 4 is still in production, sadly, without native support for Windows Vista . Users have to download the driver from the Creative website and run it. I have seen many complains over the Internet regarding their driver package. As a matter of fact, the driver page itself lists a Lot of “Known Issues” , which includes many important features that the user might have bought the card for. In my case, only 2 of my channels are supported in Vista. Users with 5.1 systems plugged are suffering from this problem. EAX is fully disabled, with no effects available. With creative’s new line of sound cards, X-Fi or eXtreme Fieldity, they are obviously aiming for the users to upgrade, but my suggestion would be to continue the development of drivers for the latest operating systems.
