I’m switching servers to a super cheapo webplace that will probably crap out on me and set me back another drunken evening.. I just moved stuff over, and am trying to configure it. Please let me know what you find wrong with it. Some stuff is lost… Like the podcast count, there were almost 1000 plays since it started, but now it’s at 0. I switched because my old hosting place is trying to charge me for a bandwidth overage.. But they shut the site down when it went 64 gigs over… Then told me to get rid of it.. If they were going to charge me per gig, why wouldn’t they have let the site up? More $$ for them right? Also their next plan up is like an extra $40 per year, but instead of letting me upgrade to that one that covers it, they want me to pay them $100, and get nothing more to show for it… And they still want me to take the offending site offline.. I’ve been scrambling around trying to get my bills paid for the last month or so… Doing bullshit tech work, and just hating life more than normally. I just had a super professional business meeting at … Wait for it.. Dunkin’ Donuts… Some tech recruiter wanted to meet me before sending me to an interview at a local hospital. I was supposed to interview at the hospital at 2pm, so I went to DD’s at 1 to meet this bitch, and she didn’t show up until 1:45, and when she got there, she said the guy from the hospital wants to do it monday or tuesday… Fuck you. I’ve been doing contract work for a well known computer company that rhymes with HELL. It’s super easy, but very sporatic… If it was 2 installs a day for the rest of my life I could make alot of money, and would do it forever, since it’s the dumbest/easiest job ever. I overran my allowed bandwidth by a shitload in one day on another site on this plan. I apologize for the downtime… I also noticed that some site in somalia is stealing a photo from the site (Of soldier boy smellum no less.) I don’t mind that, but they’re hotlinking to it (I’m guilty of that too at times.). So i replaced it with this. It’s ugly, and it hurts my eyes.. Win/Win. Here’s the page, As of now it’s the first image on there… I wonder how long it will take for them to notice. Anyway, sorry for the downtime.
