2008-01-09 03:19:00 I've just entered my company for not long ago. 6 months ... really not long. Just got to know that I've been transferred to the headquarters. How do I say? Should I feel happy or unhappy? Happy as I do not have to travel for 1.5hrs every morning just so I can get to work. Unhappy as I have to know people and learn all over again. (Just when I've started to grasps things here) Happy as I will have more things to learn and more things to do. Uneasy as I've heard things about there (not the ghostly type) 矛盾 Haha ... but thats how it is for now and I guess I just have to take it as it comes and to adapt to it. Watched it like 4 times in a row and still enjoying it.I really 佩服the person who arranged this as well as the singers themselves. How difficult it is to sing "12 days of xmas" and yet they can do it so well + in different arrangements. Although its not perfect but this takes like so many practices and great confidence to sing and perform.I wish people in Singapore can appreciate chorale singing and such creativeness more. I also have my stay-at-home-type-typity-type-on-my-keybo ard times.Today is one such day.To tell the truth, I love to go out but I don't like crowds. 2008-01-02 12:12:00 Its the BIG DAY! Oh~ no no .. not my wedding. Its the day for Fish Leong's concert!Though I was feeling bit lethargic as I slept quite late the day before.Getting ready to go out and meet ClaireYap and Jianfa for dinner at the newly opened Kallang Leisure Park.Though the theme was 今天情人节 and everyone was supposed to wear red, I didn't. I am not a crazy fan though I do loved her songs and had been supporting her since her 2nd album. All my red clothes are long sleeved! No way for warm warm weathered Singapore.Had dinner at Nihon Mura. Do read up my review at Yebber!Overall, food was great there. So was the service and the atmosphere. However, the prices of the main dishes are a bit too expensive. However, you can save a lot of money if you simply order their sushi-in-a-plate. Those are cheaper than other Japanese restaurants.Finally its time for the concert!! Managed to meet Chin Siew and Kelly for a small chat before the concert and Kelly even brought me some cylum sticks...

Wish I can bring them home keke ;DPresents for gift exchange for the dinner later in the evening. Have to wrap and tag them the night before .....Phil bought these for the dinner though I heard June will be bringing some along as well.Turkey and honey baked ham (without the honey taste) from Canadian Pizza... Arrived on time though we have to cut it ourselves and its cold. Though it looks nice on the pic, the taste is not very nice though.Vege by little ol' me~ as you can see all the rest of the dishes are "heavy" food.Having some fun putting on the glow-bracelets Phil brought. Being part of Hall 8 and singing in a group too, I was naturally interested in watching other choirs.What amazed me was not the lighting decorations at Orchard. Rather its the number of people there. So much so that I can't even cross the road without queueing and fighting with pple who are trying to come in front of me (Yes Auntie... that's U) Frankly, lighting decorations will be prettier without so many irritating lights from cars. ;DMy favourite photo for the day. I'm So sorry I haven blogged it yet kekeWas held at Hilton Hotel' Grand ball room.Everything was great but for the rain that spoiled it (and our clothes)Grand Ballroom and it was really really very grand ;D We were shocked by the number of people standing outside the ballroom for cocktail. Served some drinks and snacks while the waiting to get into the ballroom.Class Girls whom I get along well with since Sec sch. Even though we are not like in touch everyday, they are great friends whom I can discuss with, chat with and rely on.Of cos~ the food! (which I think most pple are interested in) Not too great for a hotel like Hilton, in fact, it was a bit disappointing.However, the service was great though we can see the person who served us was a tad too nervous as he keep mixing up our drinks, dropping items etc. Still, he remain his most polite manner and we didn't tekan him at all la. I dreamt I was sitting with a family in a room and this woman (A) was telling me that someone in her family just gave birth to a baby and I was like : "Really? Where is the baby?" (My friend will know I got this craze for babies ;P)At this moment, another woman walked by with a baby boy in her arms .. and the baby boy looks scary ... so scary I got a fright from looking at it .. Then woman A was telling me that she felt a bad omen cause she thought she saw this ghost boy luking around in the hospital when they were there ... she was saying that luckily the ghost boy did not follow them back home ... 2007-12-07 19:01:00 Went to wedding dinner of Pei Xin and Weiling on Monday. Pai sei I didn't blog about it until now as I was too busy to edit the photos.But I have time to do some self admiring! LOLX ... these were taken before going for the event. Got a fright that morning cos my eyes sort of kenna swollen (again~! urgh~!) luckily it went down in late afternoon and I was able to cover the tracks with make-up (oh! the wonders of make-up)Grand sia~ Though we were like quite tired from climbing up the hills to the Legends . It being far away from where our eye sight could reach. We had to refer to maps to get there.
