business as usual..
2007-11-23 11:00:00
we will be having our community visits soon so the school deemed it necessary that we be protected from whatever disease we might be exposed with. they required us to take hepa b vaccines. i really dont mind that. what im concerned with is the gossip that ive been hearing that the level coordinator has a “kick-back” of P50 for each student. tsk tsk. reminds me of the news i heard that the reason why the professors were requiring ever friggin student to buy books was because they also have an incentive of P5 per student for every book bought. not that i dont want our professors to earn extra money. its just that why does it have to be at the expense of the students?

i dint mean to eavesdrop, but she was talking so loud im pretty sure the people  at the 4th floor heard her. i was at this computer shop beside the school a while ago when i overheard some gurl talking to someone via yahoo messenger. i wasnt sure if she was a teacher or instructor but the students who saw her there were calling her ma’am, i couldnt care less. going back to my story. my friends and i were lazing around at the internet shop while waiting for our next subject to start when the gurl and her friend came in. she was chatting with someone at ym. i dont think she knows the guy because she was asking things like age, location and stuff. i wasnt able to hear what the guy said, naturally, though i was able to see what he looks like thru his webcam which he let her view. ma’am: so which country are you located? guy: (he looks indonesian or malaysian but i think he’s filipino coz the gurl was speaking in tagalog in between sentences) ma’am: how tall are ...

the commute to work has always been uneventful. usually, with just a few hours of sleep, i tend to maximize whatever time i can steal to get some shut eyes. and that would include the 20-min ride to work. i usually just wear my headphones and close me eyes and try to continue whatever i was dreaming of hours back. today was different though. i sat beside this really hot guy, think he was a cadet. the usual cropped hair, hunky body minus the sweat. he had this smal.l suitcase with him. i dunno if he went out or something, not sure what the rules are there, but he was commuting to pma and did not take their usual service. i dont usually flirt with guys, but he started it. lol. he kept nudging me but he dint say anything though. he just flashed his close-up smile. i thought at first that he needed more space so i moved away from him, but everytime i did that, he kept moving closer as well. if only he wouldve said something… if only i wouldve said something. his friend took a pho...

i dont see a reason why i cant save 154 messages in my cellphone inbox. my cousin was shaking her head in disbelief as she went through my messages which date date back to as far may 3. what can i say? im sentimental. she said i was lazy daw coz i dont clear my messages. but i do. my saved items would show special folders where messages are saved according to categories like mushy, funnies, green. now she thinks im OC. whats so OC about that? ayoko lang ng magulo. i want my messages to be in order when i go back to them. i love knowing that im loved, that people care. tell me, who doesnt want that? what kind of messages do i get you say? aside from having an overflow of lovequotes courtesy of tj, i also save green jokes forwarded by friends, emo conversations with friends which has great black mail potential in the future, and some important conversations with people i know id lose touch of eventually. so you see, its not at all a waste of time. it may be just a few kbs, but hey, it...

Mini Me is making a break for the escape pod. Ensign Hanes is reporting a hull breach on the lower deck, Sir! The Buick is not all the way in the garage. Dr. Kimble has escaped! 2007-11-07 21:47:00
i dont know if these are actually new stuff, but i just knew about them few days ago thats why im blogging bout them. i think theyre good finds you might want to try :) i have always relied on storewith.com for my online storage. with its 5G space, i thought theres nothing more i can ask for. but then, thanks to twitter buddy kuwestiyonmark, i was able to discover gspace, a firefox plugin that turns the 2GB of your Gmail account into free online storage. With Gspace you can manage unlimited Gmail accounts to store all type of files within its simple, user friendly interface. It has the following features: * File Transfer: to manage files * Player Mode: to listen your stored music files directly from Gspace * Photo Mode: to view your collection of pictures * Gmail Drive: to manage your Gdrive files as well Here’s the interface: it actually looks like an ftp software. i havent tried it yet since gmail is blocked at work so i couldnt really login. will try it at home though,...

i had a call a while ago where the customer was complaining because her outlook express wasnt downloading her emails automatically everytime she gets new mails.she said she set her outlook to automatically download new emails every 3 mins. i asked her if she expects a lot of emails and she said not that much. she said she was upset because she was paying for something that wasnt working right. i told her, first and foremost, we did not make outlook; second, there are different factors that could explain why her outlook is not sending/receiving as expected. it could be that she has a security program that scans her incoming emails which then bypasses the send/receive feature. i explained it to her and she still doesnt get it. she said she wanted credits on her account to compensate the inconvenience that we have brought her. i told her that billing wont give her any credits since its not connectivity-oriented in the first place. she is up and surfing and thats really what we should c...

2007-11-03 21:09:00
they hate me. i was at national bookstore a while ago and i was looking for a book by ayn rand. i was lazy to browse thru rows and rows of books so i decided to ask the sales lady instead. i was able to find ayn rand at the fiction genre but i cant seem to find the book i want. i actually dont remember the title of the book, i just know that it has the word “head” in it. so of course i asked the lady again and she gave me this look like in her mind she was thinking how crazy i was to be looking for a book with a title head in it. so i told her to do a search in their database just in case they have it and so off she went. after about a minute, she came back with a smile and told me that they dint have that. so i asked about haruki murakami instead and she immediately said that they dont have it either. i asked her to at least check their computer and she said she dint have to coz i always look for books that are out of stock anyways. she said she remembers from 2 weeks a...

lenses or glasses?
2007-11-02 16:29:00
since classes would be starting next monday, im already trying to foresee the possible problems that id be experiencing as my days, and nights.. start getting busy again. it would be tiring to wear contacts all day til errr.. the next day.. and the next so i decided to have glasses fitted so i can use it during the evening for work. as i did the routinary eye exam, i learned that my vision problem got worse. i started noticing it during the election day when everything started to get blurrier. i thought my eyes were just tired and since i was wearing contacts, i just removed it and rested. a few days has past and the blurriness has lessened but there still is the blurriness on my right eye. the results indicate that the grade has now increased from 75 to 125 for the right eye, 50 to 100 for the left eye. ive decided to use contacts during the day while im in school and ill wear glasses at work. sweet. cant i be anymore nerdier :)

who was i then?
2007-11-01 22:38:00
got this here. take the test here. Diagnosis: I do not know how you feel about it, but you were female in your last earthly incarnation. You were born somewhere around territory of modern North Australia approximately on 1875. Your profession was map maker, astrologer, astronomer.- - > so i was a lazy nomad who believed in soul mates, made decisions according to my bedside astrologer, and was probly easily picked up by guys who started their lines by asking what my sign was. Your brief psychological profile in that past life: Timid, constrained, quiet person. You had creative talents, waited till that life to be liberated. Sometimes environment considered you strange.- - > i dunno bout that. i guess i am shy when it cones to new situations. im not exactly constrained, perhaps only in new circumstances. and im only quiet when im not feeling good. im generally a talker. Lesson, that your last past life brought to present: Your main lesson in present — to develop magnani...

if theres one thing that id want to try, it would be to celebrate “undas” in manila. unfortunately, although i have relatives in manila, we dont have any deceased relatives buried there. i got a text from chris at around 730pm saying that he was in the cemetery. hell. if he was in pangasinan, being in the cemetery at that time would be suicide. though i have never heard of the ever popular white lady or any kind of ghosts in our area, halloween or not, being in the cemetery still gives me the creeps. but since it has always been a tradition for us to visit our deceased relatives at the cemetery, i dint have a choice. whats in a name?
2007-10-28 00:15:00
my lola has always been proud telling people where my name was from. i was born on the feast day of St. Jude Thaddeus, the patron saint for impossible cases. thats where my name judith came from. as for my first name, marie, that came from mother mary, while my third name rita, came from st rita, the ward where my mom was in at Notre Dame Hospital. my mom even told me that i almost had a 4th name. she said that she felt guilty giving all my names so she asked my other grandmum (father’s side) if she had any other names she wanted to add. like 3 names aint enough? my other grandmum said shes ok with 3 names. my lola, feeling guilty still, wanted to add a 4th name. since my other grandma’s name is Teodula, my lola wanted to add Teofista to my not-yet-so-lengthy name of Marie Judith Rita. good thing my grandmother refused. she probly saw what the future holds for me. calloused hands. lol.
sembreak resolutions..
2007-10-27 17:38:00
the second semester is starting a week from now and i haven’t done anything that i promised myself i would do. i never really bothered with new year’s resolutions but i thought it would be good to bring this upon myself and actually plan what id be doing for a change. maybe it was just all the sembreak hype. with everyone planning where to go and what to do, it was fun joining the bandwagon. sembreak plans: go to the gym - i know that its only 2 weeks and that i dunno if i cound even lose anything in 2 weeks, but hey its wouldve been worth the try watch more movies - so far ive only watched 3 movies: stardust, the seeker and resident evil sleep more - this so far is what ive managed to accomplish hunt for more dvds - havent visited my muslim suki yet go to the beach - or any body of water for that matter. just want to be under the sun and laze around. woke up early as usual. went to the salon. watched Resident Evil: Extinction, roamed around window shopping. dint have anything else to do so i decided to go to work early so i can read my book “Under the tuscan sun.” my daily commute to work has always been uneventful thats why i made sure that my player was always on the lure boredom away. tonight was different though. i dunno if he was a priest or pastor or a looney, i couldnt tell. he was in khakis, and he actually look like someone from the service, the army perhaps? i dunno. he started talking about salvation, about not making the same mistakes that our parents did. all of us 19 people in the jeep looked at each other. this may be a common thing in manila, where preachers spread the word of good in various places, whether in the bus or some busy street. but in baguio, ive never really seen anyone bold enough for task. i knew he wasnt catholic. he was preaching how wrong it was to “adore” and “wors...

I have always been a sucker for happy endings. My lola has always taught me to always look at the brighter side of things thats why in every relation yes, i tend to be hopeful, hence my blog title: romantically delusional. Dont get me wrong, ive had bad relationships and ive had even shittier ones. But once in a while, you meet someone that just gets to you even if youve sworn for the nth time that you wont fall inlove anymore. When i met him, we dint talk about forever, we just talked. We went over the perfunctory hellos and how-do-you-dos with as much emotion as ritualized introductions allow. We have no plans, no definitions. And it feels good just thinking of today. I dont want to go crazy thinking of what ifs. I dont want to give in to that inkling that later on, just maybe, we will not only stain each other’s lives with our marks, but the sheets as well, with sweat, saliva, and other fluids of passion, and by the time it happens, we might have already tied more knots th...

Tristan must also overcome the evil witch, Lamia (Michelle Pfeiffer), who needs the star to make her and her sisters young again. As Tristan battles to survive these threats, he meets the woopsie pirate Captain Shakespeare (Robert De Niro) and a shady trader named Ferdy the Fence (Ricky Gervais). i have never been thought ‘aging’ would ever be an issue.. well at least not this early.. until i studied again. dont get me wrong, i have the nicest classmates. the class is a mix of the the young ones and us “more matured” students. and they have great respect for us 2nd-course-takers, so that isnt really a problem. some would even say that i perfectly blend in with the class so i never really thought of it as a problem. hell i even dated someone younger, though not from my class, but he was more than 5 years younger than me(dont go computing my age now :P ) and everything was working ok until we realized that we had different thoughts about where the relationship was going.
