2008-05-19 16:30:00 it would have been great if they served dinner, midnight snack and breakfast. i wouldve loved them peanuts as well. but of course that would be just wishful thinking. no im not going out of the country, although it feels like it. i was just on my way home to pangasinan. my usual 2-hour bus trip to pangasinan became 12 hrs. the bus left 715pm and i reached pangasinan 720am, sunday. thanks a lot typhoon cosme. can you blame me if i dont believe pag-asa when they said that baguio was under signal # 3? ive had too many experiences with pag-asa declaring its a supertyphoon only to find out that its just all rain and thunderstorms. so i braved the rainy weather and opted to go home. hurrah for me. lol. will be posting photos tomorrow More About: Typhoon

2008-05-07 21:46:00 school’s been really hectic since last week. we had our first hospital exposure in Tagudin, Ilocos Sur, which is 3 hours away from baguio. i was dreading it at first. in my mind, i was revolting the idea of living for 3 days in a place where the closest mall is 2 hours away and where everyone was already in doors at 8pm. i could be very imaginative sometimes. it wasnt like that at all. the closest mall was 1 hour away and people were awake till 9. but at the hospital though, everyone was of course awake all throughout to make sure that all shifts were covered. twas a provincial hospital covering 3 provinces with the payward offering 40 beds only + more or less 10 private rooms. our first day was fun. turned out that it was tagudin’s fiesta during that day thats why they had free circumcisions and cataract extractions. we were so blessed to be assisting on 500+ circumcisions. so that would mean coming in contact with 500+ penises of all sizes and uh colors. the oldest...

2008-05-02 16:51:00 i havent even blogged about it yet and now its gone. *sniff* my mom got me a 16gb ipod touch as a gift for my upcoming capping ceremonies in school. i d0nt usually ask for anything, being the good daughter that i am, lol, but she encouraged me to indulge, for once, on something that ive always wanted. so of course i asked for a new laptop. *grins* i felt the hesitance in her voice so before she can even say anything, i took it back and asked for an ipodtouch instead. i havent even used it for 2 weeks, and now its gone. sigh. i was at the jeepney stop, waiting for my ride to work. all of a sudden, sting stopped singing. thats when i noticed that my earphones were hanging on midair and my left pocket was empty. is there a school for pickpockets somewhere that theyre able to learn how to snatch people’s things without people barely noticing them? whats bad enough is that this is the second time that something like this happened to me. the first time was when my phone was al...

2008-04-28 19:21:00 that was indeed a long blog leave. if theres one thing i hate, its updating wordpress. i just cant seem to get it right. i have updated it a few times already and there were always glitches. the last one, by far, was the greatest screw up. instead of seeing my blog, i just saw a white screen whenever i would type my domain. tried re-installing it but it did the same thing. i barely have time to sleep, much more tinker with my blog. so i decided to call ploghost instead. sent them an email and got a reply a week after. they said they were able to restore the lost files so they asked me to reinstall it again. i did so, more than a week after as well. so there. finally.. my blog’s back More About: Born Again

2008-04-09 16:21:00 summer classes na naman bukas. sigh. 2 weeks ago nagrereklamo ako dahil uber bored ako. walang magawa. i was thinking of reading and working out and watching more movies but i was too lazy to do anything. haha. i did what i thought i might not do a lot of come school day - sleep. so yeah, i slept all day. my mom called last weekend. kinakamusta nya ang mga “future plans” ko daw. honestly, im not looking that far off. ayoko ngang mag-abroad eh. why would i go there when i can afford things here naman? hindi naman sa nagmamayabang ako.. i just dont think i need all that money. i am able to afford a few luxuries naman, so why do i need to go there? not that i dont want to be with my mom and my brother. it was her choice to stay in the states, it was my choice to stay behind in the philippines with my lola. i was reading jake’s blog and nakakatuwang isipin na sa ganyang edad nya eh nag-iisip na syang magsolo. i remember when i was starting. 1st year college, first time... 2008-03-17 23:06:00 whats fun about commuting is that you get to interact with different kinds of people. on my trip to baguio last sunday, i was able to sit with 2 noisy europeans. they actually dint know each other, they just started talking when the bus stopped at sison for a break. one was belgian while the other one was irish. the irish guy had a funny accent. he’s not like most irish guys. his accent reminds me of some of our indian conterparts at work. its so hard to make out their accent, like its a cross between a chinese and british. as for the belgian, he was being too much of a brith with every sentence containing the word bloody. i dunno, he was too OA for me. the irish guy wanted to talk sum more but the belgian wanted to watch the movie being shown in the bus, starring van damme. in the philippines, i think his fans club is comprised of bus drivers and conductors, no kidding. the irish guy said he wants to watch rubbish movies sometimes, it makes him stop thinking. ★ ★ ...
