Forgive what I?m about to say, but writers, particularly those who are on the up-climb in their career, can be some of the most arrogant, selfish, and self-centered people to be encountered. This does not apply to each and every person who writes, ? but far and wide there?s a frustrating sense of ?all about me? syndrome sweeping the field of writing. This is not to say that writers are bad people, or that they don?t deserve credit and reward for their hard work. But escalating success does not warrant a bad attitude or lack of appreciation for those who supported them along the way. The sad part is that most of the time, these people don?t even realize how they?re coming across to others! In fact, the energy they?re exerting is anything but arrogance in most cases, but rather an over-abundance of self promoting, which is a must if one is to get their work noticed! So, at 2:15 p.m. we began leasing all four dogs, gearing up for a big day in town.Sirius loves going for a ride, he goes with me to the bank once a week, and on quick trips to the corner store. He's my baby, my buddy, my guardian. Odin goes along sometimes, and although he's always whining to go, begging for a ride, once he actually gets into the vehicle, he gets scared of it and whimpers and cries. Introduction Roughly eight years ago, give or take a few months, I received my first quilt. My father, long-since divorced from my mother, was married to a woman who had no children of her own. During two brief visits to my father?s house, I met and bonded with his wife. Shortly after those visits, I became ill with cancer. Two years I endured several surgical efforts to tame the beast, and countless invasive procedures. Eventually, a hysterectomy was in order. Just before I went into the hospital for my partial hysterectomy, I received a box from my step-mother. In it, a quilt her mother had made. Her mother had since passed away and my step-mother had no daughter of her own to hand the quilt down to. Learning Tarot , I won't lie, was an intimidating process for me. Already in my mid to late twenties, one would think I'd have been exposed to the cards.
