With slightly less than 1400 brave men to begin, everyone was given 10,000 chips to start.The blind structure was 15mins per level. You can expect to slug it out for 4-6hrs to make it to the bubble. I was battling on another front at the same time when this started. It was promising over there and i did make it to their curry puffs.While the battle was marching on at Pokerstars, i didn't really make much play and in the end was overwhelmed. The journey to my quest soon ended.

When you think of poker what would come to mind? Casino, cigarette smokes, fat people. I am developing a flabby belly now due to sitting for too long. In Mala ysia , there is only one casino but it doesn't have poker game. The casino sits on a hill and provides a theme park but no poker game. It is a sad case. I do not know when this can change. I do not know when poker players here can play a game in a valid casino or card room like in the Philippines.Somehow met a blogger from Brisbane that took up my idea to put a post on casino in Brisbane in his blog. I have recently looked up the pagerank for this blog and it was predicted it would have a pagerank of 2. After 3 months i thought the best i could hope for would be (if it's even possible) to just get 1. I thank those who helped me directly or indirectly along the way.I know there are lots of blogs started out the same way and just faded after sometime. I do not know how far this blog will go but i hope it can continue to go as far as possible. There are plenty of 'how-to' or 'bad beat' blogs that this one just shouldn't be adding to the clutter.All in all, i am quite satisfied it is where it is. I am still awed how those people generate hits. After all hits equate revenue, comments, readership, opportunities, and many other little things. Changes have been implemented.ForewordsJust a few words to say that i have now added technorati tags in the post which would help add a few exposure to the blog and a new email subscription feature on the sidebar. I have changed the commenting system of blogger and converted it to Haloscan system which i think is great. Salary always comes on the last day of the month.The Fact IsIt always goes out faster than it could ever enter into my bank account. And my paycheck is not going to go up any higher. It has already been 50 years since Malaysia gained its independence. I am 25 now and i still do not see any financial independence. There will always be car loan to pay, credit card debts to settle and other miscellaneous expenditures. Perhaps another 25 years to when i am 50 that i would see financial independence.The APPT SeoulSeriously, there's only 3 days left to qualify for the APPT Seoul round 2 freeroll. I am closing in on maintaining my blog for 3 months now. Since doing so, i have developed an interesting relationship with numbers. I am growing quite fond of blogging and all matters related to blogging. In respect to that i am beginning to realise why blogging can be a full time job. As silly as it is, it is interesting to observe the numbers related to your blog.The picture above shows the stat for my readers base. It was a surprise and an equally rewarding feeling to see the numbers go up. It rose to its highest on the day i made a post on my winnings. And it dropped down as well the day after. It fluctuates. I am happy that poker postings have a place in its visitors. Actually, wasn't very happy when it declined. Actually it disturbs me. You might not be able to feel the pain when this happens. I was languishing away as my opponent hit his straight with Jack high. I was playing one live SNG last weekend of 11 people. I was around until 3 or 4 people were out. I was then the first to go all-in with KK. The person on my left goes all-in and later another guy, 3 person away goes all-in as well. Everybody else folded. Guess what their cards were; vs vs Everything was fine when the flop and turn came. All were low cards of the number below 10. By that time, i was overjoyed but composed. The anti-climax begins when the river dealt was a Jack. And so, my opponent on my left who have Ace Ten takes the big pot. And my fate was sealed.
