Bored? Change your Ipod and other media player
2007-11-21 04:10:00 Title says it all i was uber bored so i decided to play around modifying things as i could not use the computer anyway. (running on a Live CD ) RockBox I use it on my Ipod 5th generation ( 80GB video ) and somehow it make it less boring… i didn’t install doom and such games on my Ipod using this i was hoping they would have a SuperNes Emulator but they don’t. Lots of FreeGames and Customized themes for the interface and one feature that i really like… Create playlist from the player itself . As well as Searching songs with a Virtual Keyboard. Yes it is a pain to type with a wheel on a virtual keyboard but its still faster when you wanna queue all the files of an artist and add another one to the list. Anyway go see they website just click the huge banner i set here! IpodLinux IpodLinux is kinda like Rockbox in many ways except it got more modules and games that you can install from them. Linux start
2007-11-18 23:36:00 I didn’t use Linux in 2 years and now im back! Here a few things i do once my setup of Linux is done. [ Fedora 8 ] Displayer Drivers First i download the latest Nvidia drivers for my card [Nvidia download page]. I log out from current graphical interface… Then on user select screen i do Control+Alt+F2 logging as root and do telinit 3 then cd /home/user/nvidiapackagefolder and do sh ./nvidiacurrentpackagefile . Now i follow the steps and let it compile module for my kernel and even do the xorg config. Then i do telinit 5 and im back at user login with my users listed. Install Livna on yum and Xine multimedia player i open firefox and go to http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-8.rpm i install it then close Firefox. Now i open start menu and click Add/Remove Software ( you can do this by using a terminal and doing yum search and such ) i Click the search tab and input xine as my search. Cedega
2007-11-16 04:29:00 Cedega…. what is that? Well its a Linux software that emulate directx from windows on linux. They are two version the free opensource one and the paid version. Opensource version was crap so i decided to buy it and now running games under linux is way more simple than it used to be. But Windows Games are far from been perfect on linux you have tons of glitchs and most of your games won’t even run! But this is still a better achievement than the past versions. Sorry if i didn’t post some animes! Like i said my harddrive crash so i cannot download animes at the moment since i’m running from a Live CD and everything i install when i reboot disapear ( loaded in the ram ) !!!!!ATTENTION!!!! 2007-11-13 21:15:00 Sorry for not posting any updates… Currently using Fedora Core 7 (FC 8 got released a little while ago )since windows won’t install at all ( Corrupted Drive totally format won’t work and Setup of Windows stay black screen ) But here the thing. Yes Linux is way more complicated for average users such as myself. Yes Linux Lack Gaming Compatibility in many ways! But God know the games run fine using Cedega ( well most of them ) I cannot play Rappelz or Warhammer 40k Dark Crusade at the moment ( because i don’t have a Cedega copy but more the opensource version which is crappy in every way! ) Anyway so far i came accross a few problemes that i solved here a few examples: Gaming Support ( installed Nvidia Driver by shutting down X interface logging as root outside the session by doing Ctrl+Alt+f2 and then telinit 3 loading the installer who compile the kernel and such ) Apache Error ( yeah Apache didn’t came setup with PHP and such and would display erro...

Yes shareaza Existed since a long time ago and now some failed clones like Warez and Crux are out there using same technology and even so they screwed it up! Thing is back a year and half ago Shareaza had bittorent support and it still does… But somewhat faster than before ( Support Azureus Magnets and such ) As of Gnutella 1 and G2 Networks they work far better than before stable connection no trouble to connect! Of course that imply you downloaded latest list for edonkey networks ( see settings ) and that you forwarded the ports on your router (if you have one). Last but not least for XP users you applied the TCP Patch to allow more than 10 Incoming Outgoing Connection! And of course allowed Shareaza on the firewall! I switched from ClaimID to Ziki because Ziki would allow preview of the website without even clicking the link. Also Ziki allow the add of Widgets and Bio. Ziki can be good for a Website team to post individuals infos without having much impact on the site itself they share part of they life or work theyve done in the past; site they registered on and Pictures of themself via feed. What i hate the most on the internet is most sites you register to You have to reinput the same informations over and over upload pictures over and over; that is why i love OpenID and guess what? 2007-11-06 20:49:00 As i said yesterday i would add Gantz Chapters and such online but thing is Zenphoto that i customized a bit for displaying Manga build a cache which is really bad because… every pictures is doubled! I’m currently looking for a Manga Viewer ! Searched Google for a while didn’t found one that fitted like those sites MangaShare.com and OneManga.com . So if anyone can help me would be appreciated! As of Gantz il be adding more chapters. Reason i didn’t do this today is i had to gather the chapters first and il have to upload and zip them tommorow on Megaupload. Which means i have to upload all the stuff twice since i have to make archives for megaupload and direct view on the new Manga Section. Quoi que dans mon cas a 12ans je fesais 6pied et on me disais j’étais déjà trop vieux. Personnellement je n’ai jamais fêter l’halloween sauf étant tout petit et a l’époque j’étais dans les cantons de l’est a Rock-Forest et je dois vous dires que les gens là bas y allais fort!
