When I told my work colleagues I was going all the way over to America to meet this boy Matty that I met on the Internet they were, perhaps not surprisingly a little sceptical. Well, I've only known him for a short while, a couple of weeks at the most. They was also a little surprised our choice of meeting locations, St Louis! Why there? It's not like it's a big place that attracts lots of English tourists. I mean Orlando and LA it aint. They asked why, which to be honest wasn't a thought far from my mind as well, then Matty told me that it was Pride Festival, the most major one at the gateway to the MidWest, which means there's more to St Louis than a big silly arch and a river! When I relayed such info to the girls at work, they were rather more excited about the prospect. All those cowboys, gay cowboys at that, gosh, it would be something like Brokeback Mountain, was the words they banded about! Brokeback Mountain indeed, but perhaps, all those MidWestern gay...

Well, what a week and a half it's been, so much to say, so much to fill you in on, lots of news and stuff, so I'd better get on with it before time runs away with me and we'll be in the week after next before I know it!Work has been a breeze this past shift, busyish for the time of year, but we had the whole team in for one of the nights and it was nice to see old Rach again, even if she was a little on the moody side - men problems, but we had a little giggle. I do miss her when she's not in the office, somehow the place is just not the same. We read the stars on our last night, it said we were going to be lucky, so we each put a pound on the lottery. Nyree did the bizz and yesterday she text to say we'd won a tenner! So, horoscopes can be right sometimes, she's blown the lot on tickets for Saturday's draw, so fingers crossed, our lucky streak continues and lady luck shines her light on our lucky dip numbers and they next time I write this blog I'm a millionaire!!I had coff...

If you were to say to me before yesterday if you could chat online with someone for 13 hours and still have more to say, Id have said you were completely bonkers and need a check up from the neck up. But, yesterday that's exactly what I did! Yep, 13 hours I sat here chatting to Matty from the Statesss just chatting about this, that, the other and pretty much everything in between. You know the type of convo, it touched on everything from the meaning of life to bizarre T-shirts, from how dull Vienna (the US town) is, to where we'd be in 10 years time. I learnt a great deal, but still had loads more to talk about, loads more to say, but after 13 hours, my bum had gone beyond numb, my fingers were mere bloody stubs, my eyes red and on stalks, yet my mind contented. Matty is a sweet cute 19 year old American dude, with a liking for odd T-shirts, a passion for computer games, skating, reading and all the other things you would expect from a 19 year old yanky boy. Charming, sweet, inter...

2008-05-19 09:16:00
I can hardly believe it's Sunday/Monday already, but unless the whole world is having a joke on me, it is the sabbath, the start of the end of the week depending on your view. I'm halfway through night three of four and the shift has been going pretty darn fast, which is a welcome bonus after the treacherously long one last week. I wish I didn't have to work, but I've found from experience that if I don't work the money soon runs out, and although I know money can't buy you love of happiness, it makes giving love and being happy loads easier!I've been going to bed, without my customary morning glass of red wine, pretty soon after getting home and then getting up earlier in the afternoon. There is a reason for this, nope I've not become a tea total new wave, new age Christian fundamentalist who fights the devils curse of alcohol. Ha, no far from it, I do like a good drink now and well, now really, nope the reason I'm getting up earlier is that I have a special someone to cha...

My youth comes back!
2008-05-16 13:40:00
I'm riding along on an 80's wave of music and pleasure at the moment and feeling like I wanna be back in the days just before the Poll Tax was introduced, when I continued to fiddle with my Rubik Cube and munched on my Spangles, sherbet dibdabs. Back in days when work was easier, the world more exciting and new experiences just around the corner ready to be enjoyed for the very first time !I stayed up late the night before last, I was on the net, on a social interaction site and I somehow got chatting to this guy who lives somewhere over in Illinois in the States. We got on so well, talking on MSN for ages and ages although it seemed like just minutes, so much so that it was a complete surprise that I was still chatting to him at 4am! Hi Matty by the way! We only stopped talking when his friends came round to take him to an adult store for a laugh and I was ready to head off to the land of dreams. Those dreams came as soon as my head was on the pillow and eyes closed on tired but ...

Ever find that days when you have nothing planned are the days when most things happen? I found that out yesterday, I had nothing planned, yet it turned out to be a pretty full and eventful day and night!I got up, as one usually tends to do, showered and hand brekkie and thought about what I was going to do for the day, the sun was already warm streaming in through my lounge window. I gazed down toward the sea and thought 'Way too nice for staying home and inside and tossing about on the computer' so I got my bike out of the bike shed at work and started to cycle. My plan was to cycle to Worthing and back via Portslade to pick up my post from my brothers house. Anyway after getting all the way over to Portslade and picking up my post I popped next door for a bus of tea with Mo. She lives next door to my bro you understand, so there I was having a bus of tea in the garden with the lovely Mo and her foster son Lance.I didn't plan on staying long, but one thing lead to another and I...

Can you believe it's been nearly 10 years since the fantastic foursome of Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte hit our TV screens in the first ever episode of Sex And The City. Yep, it's been nearly long 10 years since we first found out what 30 something New York ladies did with their time and their men. Nearly 10 years since they first lifted the lid on on anal sex, Manolo Blahniks, Big, Aiden, The Russian, Smith, breast cancer and multiple orgasms. Back in the late 80's and early 90's it was 'must see TV' Indeed for just under and hour one night a week the world stopped (expect for the pouring of wine and the munching of ice cream) where I and the boys would be glued to the small screen for the next installment of 'our girls' in the Big Apple. If you were a fan, like me, you cursed HBO when they pulled the plug and the final scenes in Paris and back in the city that never sleeps played out on the small screen, leaving more questions than answers. What ever became of Mir...

The sun is so bright already and it's long before 10am, I love it when the weathers like this, something about the sun shining makes the world seem a better place, people are happier, or at least they appear to be, it's as if the sun is god smiling down on this world and in return the little living folk on the earth are looking back up at the creator and smiling a silent thanks for the wonderfulness of the weather, earth and just all round pleasantness. Wow listen to me harping on and waxing lyrically about the weather when all I need to say is that's it been blooming marvelous.Yesterday , I rose fairly early and decided to go for a little ride, I had to pop up to my brothers to see if there was post, so I got the bike out and cycled up to Portslade, he wasn't in, post was so I collected it, popped next door to Mo, who was in or rather in but out, in the garden sunbathing topless with daughter Nade and Ton, the pregnant one, so I relaxed in the garden for a little while with the...

2008-05-02 09:48:00
I've just got home from a hard night at work, two nights done and two nights still to do and boy I've sure earned my wages this week! We're short staffed yet again, so there is the three of us doing the work of six people! Oh what joy, what fun! I'd have loved to be off tonight, but just can't get the cover, Mo was planning another club night down at the Honey Club for Hard South, would have been great as have just got paid and am ready for a big knees up! Still I guess there is always next month!!! Can you believe we're in May already? The 5th month of the year? I dunno about you, but to me 2008 seems to be passing at an alarming rate, the months just seem to be flying past quicker that you can say 'incestuous family relations in an Austrian basement gives me the willies!'That whole situation is a bit odd, can you imagine being held captive for over 20 years, living in a basement and having children by your own father. It's just wrong with a capital W a...

It's been another few days when I've been so busy, busy with this that and a little bit of the other. It's enough to tire me out and I think I'll be glad to go back to work tomorrow night - for the rest! I'm not really sure where to start, I know I've neglected you, my faithful reader, over the last few days, for which I am sorry, but you know what it's like, things just get in the way. Anyway, let's just get on with it, catch up and get to grips with the rest of the actualities that is life in the present day.Friday was a good day, I did some washing, went for a walk, chatted online to CamBoy and then after a while Lance and the boys came round for a bit of chilling and chatting and erm drinking. Not really much to report, Oh on the good news front, one of the advertisers on the the previous version of The Seafront Diaries had paid up the final about of $470, which was a pleasant surprise and put a big smile upon my face. I wasn't expecting it and although the sum of money...

Monte Carlo or bust!!
2008-04-24 17:07:00
Well, the fact that I'm back in Brighton and still writing the blog should give you a clue if I broke the bank at Monte Carlo or not! I got up to Gatwick and checked in to the Sofitel, the plan was to have an early night for the super early check-in for the flight at 5am. However, after I went to my room, I thought I should just have a little beverage of the alcoholic kind to help me feel a little sleepy, good plan, that way I'd fall off to a deep and refreshing snooze. So in the bar I had a cocktail, sitting at the bar was another rather dishy young fella, which was exactly what my eyes needed, some candy. I would have happily had my one cocktail and gone straight up in the glass lift to my room and slumbers sweet refrain, I would have done that had it not been for the dishy young man starting up a conversation. Over the time it takes to drink a further three cocktails I learnt that he was recently single, his name was Ryan, he's a trolly dolly, opps I mean an Air Steward! He's...

So many boys and so little .....
2008-04-19 18:17:00
It's been a couple of days and my life has been like a little minor whirlwind of this that and none of the other, which is a shame, but par for the course that my life runs to. This current wind of whirl started two hours after I'd gone to bed on Thursday 17th, Lance called and wanted to have a talk, so I said come over later after I'd had a bit more sleep, I drifted off and he text again and then again and then at just gone four in the afternoon he was at my door with a mate of his called Dan. So there they were drinking beer in my lounge, I was a good boy, I didn't have a beer as I had a twelve hour night shift to go, ya see I told you I am a good boy!We had a nice chat and Lance tried to fall asleep on the bathroom floor while Dan entertained me, which was rather difficult as I was bursting for a pee! I must admit that I do like the company of straight boys. Which was just as well because the next day after a couple of hours sleep, Lance called and was coming around again, wh...

I want to be a spy
2008-04-15 10:05:00
Yesterday was a slow moving day, I needed a bit of me time, so I reached out with both hands and grabbed it! I've been meaning to watch Cambridge Spies double DVD for ages, so I finally got round to it yesterday. Cambridge Spies is about, well the Cambridge Spies really, you know Blunt, Burgess, Philby and the other one from the 30's and 40's, back then it was easier to be a spy. Nope there was no gizmo's like in Bond, all you need to be a spy was a quick mind and of course being an old boy of Eaton and Cambridge! After 4 hours of BBC made drama I've come to the conclusion that I should have been born a spy, well perhaps not born a spy. I mean, you can't really have a two year old being a big noise in the world of international espionage can you really? But perhaps now, I want to be a spy, I quite fancy that kind of lifestyle, that type of job that one doesn't just do, but actually live it. I think I'd make a good spy, I can blend in...
The Joy of Straight Boys
2008-04-13 03:04:00
It's been one of those days down here in the Gaytropolis that is Brighton, I woke after sending CamBoy on his way after an afternoon of 'Getting to know you' I'm sorry, I would telly you more, but I promosied him that I would keep it between us, at least for a while.. He payed a semi-arranged visit yesterday, which was rather pleasent and shall we say, rather sore!!! Need I say more, I probably dont think I do.Anyway, I got up and said goodbye and watched him drive away (in his fathers old car!) then went back to bed for a while, completely forgetting I was supposed to go round Mo's for a coffee, so after a rapid shower, two texts, I got myself together, which the state of my lower regions was a pretty hard job, but hey a boy had needs!!Over at Mo's I had countless cups, sorry I should say, busses of tea, wink wink. and a right good natter. Had my face in Nade's boobies, but then again as Asher always said, "everyone needs a boosom for a pillow" Lance was there and I had a na...

Time to say what the hell!
2008-04-11 01:15:00
The evil one left work early yesterday night leaving just three of us to plod on until 8am, and it was pretty busy. So much to do that we didn't know whether we were going or coming, rushing about , having mini meltdowns, and it was during one of these mini meltdowns, that we suddenly said, what the hell, lets go for a drink after work! Now, there's nothing unusual in that idea for most people, but when you finish work at 8am it's a bit of a strange concept. However, we're just not normal I guess and anyway, 8am to us is like 8pm to you. Sadly there was no public houses that we could find that open at 8am, so we bussed it down to the Marina, did some shopping in ASDA and then waited for The West Quay to open! It did feel funny, sitting waiting for a pub to open and as soon as it did we were in and at the bar. Pint for me and Q and Ny elected to have a dry white wine. Then breakfast was the order of the night/day. And there we sat,...

Snow gone - flights not, girls can't flirt
2008-04-08 03:27:00
Well my cherubs, I'm sad to say the snow has gone, yes it has and yes I am sad, I liked the ground all covered in crisp white flakes of frozen water, it looked soo pweettyy! However, others moaned and god must have listened to them cuz it's all gone. In typical British fashion, over 30% of London Flights didn't go, some trains were halted, it's amazing how bad we are at coping with things here in Blighty. A couple of inches of snow and the whole country grinds to a halt. I was in work and was amazed to hear that one of the day girls phone in saying she couldn't get in, she only lives two miles away! Walk god damn you bitch was screaming in my head, yet on the out side I smiled sweetly and said 'shame'However this little fluffy we've just had kinda got me thinking, I often go on about how I love the sun and the heat and hot weather in general, but I'd surely miss things like the odd snowfall if I lived some place far far away, like Queensland Australia for example. I guess o...

All white in Brighton!
2008-04-06 16:12:00
The moment my eyes fluttered open this morning I knew something was different, I thought I was blind, all I could see was white, I blinked hard, rubbed the back of my hand across my face, nope everything was still all white. Nope, I hadn't had a mass nocturnal emission all over my window in my slumber. Neither had I had a bout of 'Sleep-Painting', my eyes gradually focused - it was snowing! Yes it was bloody snowing! This is Brighton , we don't get snow, it's April, we shouldn't have snow - last year at Easter Angus was down the beach, but, I opened my window to feel the white snow and yes, it was in fact proper snow, cold, wet, white fresh snow and was falling in flakes as big as ya thumb! The white-out from my bedroom window!I got out of bed in a bound and dressed rapidly, I had to have a look around, see if it was settling anywhere else other than the roofs out the back of Shaw Towers. So wrapped up in a Hoody and Prada jeans and iPod blasting in Nickleback in my ears I ventu...

Bugger - I've been Rick Rolled!
2008-04-05 14:41:00
Have you been Rick Rolled? I have, it wasn't funny, well OK, yes it was, indeed being Rick Rolled is at first a shock, then amusing and if no one else is around, it's blooming enjoyable! Have you been Rick Rolled yet? I'm sure you must have been, Rick Rolling has been sweeping the net since March 2007 apparently. But I only got Rick Rolled last week, I guess Brighton isn't always the leading light in fashion I once thought it was. Perhaps somethings just take a little time to head on down this way, but now Rick Rolling has, and I for one am happy, I'm sure a few other people are too, maybe secretly! So what the hell is getting Rick Rolled? Ever been reading an interesting blog or message board, or had a message on FaceBook or MySpace or Bebo or whatever and there is this link on it and you click it, expecting to be taken somewhere interesting, somewhere informative, something right up your street, something toy were interested in and then when the link opens, you are...... well ...
No more dilemmas - please!
2008-04-04 16:33:00
The sun is bright outside my window and jolly nice it is too, I love the sun, I love the feel of it, the warmth of it, the way it makes people brighter, happier, more pleasant. (oh and yes I love it for the simple fact it makes handsome boys take of their shirts!)Jake came round last night and we sank a couple of bottles of wine, which has kinda made my head a little fuzzy now, but was nice to just veg with him and watch a couple of movies and escape the real world for a while. He's got another of 'one of those' jobs tonight he informed me over the pino g. "Oh that means I'm washing the pinny in a couple of days then!" Was my reply, greeted by a devilish grin. Yes, indeed I will be washing his pinny again, as the job he has is a nude waiter. Well, OK, not completely nude, his boy bits are hidden from view by a pretty small sized red apron! "It's good money" he says and at over £30 an hour, I agree completely, if I had the body and the youth to go with it I'd do it like a shot...
Dilemma's
2008-03-30 18:31:00
Jake came back from his University Easter holiday's earlier than expected, as he just couldn't stand being at home a moment longer. He missed the vibrant, loudness, busy city and the complete anonymousness that is Brighton. As we walked in the morning fresh sunshine yesterday he poured his heart out, how he hates being home for more than a day, yes he loves his folks dearly, but more than a day with them just makes him crazy. I sympathised, it's true, sometimes, as we grow older, we remove ourselves from the life that are parents have and have somewhat mapped out for us, that being home with them is painful. Yes, it's nice to see them for a while, chat, gossip, catch up, but after 12 hours there isn't really all that much to talk about. Also, if mine are anything to go by, after 4 hours, they start talking to me like they did when I was 15 and then I know it's time to pack up and run. So when Jake needed to escape, I more than understood, I was there with a walk along the prom...
What's your SSB?
2008-03-29 20:17:00
I was having an MSN conversation with CamBoy the other day, yes that's still going on, although I do have to say, we've moved away from just Cam to cam sex, and more and more to proper conversations, which is good on one level I suppose. On another, it could be said that he's already getting bored of me, or to use Harvey's words, takes one look at me and all he wants is conversation! Before I'd been chatting with him, I'd been gazing out my lounge window, down the road and to the sea, it's something I do a lot, just watching those waves roll in. Then after our chat, I had a long and very hot shower. Again that's something I do a lot of, I love a long shower, with the water as hot as I can possibly stand, so hot it stings the skin. Then after that I sat on my bed, picked at my toe nails and stared into the middle distance, not seeing anything. In my mind, words were bouncing from one to the other, recent memories flooding in. Like Rach for example telling me that on her recent...
Rain, tampons and memories
2008-03-28 13:24:00
Rain is teaming down in torrents outside my window, I've just been down to the shop at the end of the road for milk and bread and got completely drenched. Yesterday afternoon it was lovely and sunny, with just a touch of wind coming in from the sea, which was clam and still. Today the waves are breaking high with plenty of white water rolling in on the steely grey surface. I love the rain, but I love the sun more, however, I'm glad it's not sunny all the time, for then, I'd not be able to go out in the rain and get wet and we, the British, would have to find something else to moan and talk about endlessly, as we do with the weather. I mean, it's a national obsession, just think, I'm sure you mention the weather at least once a day, we compliment it, but mostly we moan about it - 'Oh it's too cold' 'Oh it's too windy' 'It's too wet' 'It's too hot' we bitch about it so much, I wonder if we all do it subconsciously. I also think taxi drivers are specially trained in t...

Just another question?
2008-03-25 22:54:00
I've finally free, well for four days and nights at least! It's the first night off and I'm so glad that working week is over, it started with Rach and Ny and me which was fun, as much as work can be anyway. We had a laugh, we had a joke, we did a little work and we heard all about Rach's new love, new man and the romance to set the world on fire. Ny made up the name Dachael, combining their two names, for they seem so wondrously in love it's sickening. Rach has a happiness and glow about her that I've never seen before and she goes all gushy the moment his name crops up in conversation, which is a pretty good indication that cupid has most defiantly pulled back on his bow and shot heart shaped arrows right into their hearts. But more than that, another more descriptive and more obvious declaration of their feelings for each other is born by the fact they've both got tattoo's of each others initials upon their persons. David has a heart shaped thing on his Scottish chest wit...

It's so gay!
2008-03-20 19:38:00
It's so gay, this is gay, that's gay, my laptops being gay, you can't wear that it's so gay, I don't know why it's not working, it's just being gay!.There are all things I've heard recently and all from hetrosexual teenagers. It would seem that the term gay has slipped from the friendly, expressive, positive term for a homosexual, to an althogether different, and somewhat derogatory and negative meaning. I'm not really sure where or when it first started, but I remember Nade saying something was gay, when I was round Mo's and Nade had just come back from school, that was about 4 and half years ago or so. Now, according to a recent report from Association of Teachers and Lectures, the ATL, 'GAY' is now the most frequently used term of abuse in schools, colleges and even universities. It's miles ahead of more traditional insluts such as 'bitch' 'Queer' 'Slag' and it's used by kids of all ages, from the very young in primary schools to those that are nearing then en...
Macca and mucker!
2008-03-18 18:05:00
It was one of those strange non weather days when I woke and shook the sleep from my eyes. It was cloudy and slightly overcast, yet fairly bright and didn't seem to be that windy. I showered for the longest time, Oh how I love days where I can stand under the almost scalding jets for as long ages, my mind wandering over many things and many decades, today my mind drifted over CamBoy, to where juicy Lucy was and what she'd look like in her uniform, whatever happened to Andrew and if Jon Atkinson was still a member of the gin club! After a good twenty minutes of body and mind cleansing, I stepped out, had toast and then dressed and walked along the prom. First toward the pier, then on the middle part of the prom toward to marina and then back along the top, back toward home. It was nice and fresh without being cold and I marvelled at how calm and how still the sea was, hardly a ripple, waves were just gently kissing the shoreline with feather like gentility.I returned home and left a...
Portslade - paradise of the south!
2008-03-17 23:24:00
I was working last night and while I was there in the wee small hours, I flicked through the Sunday Times and I felt a distinct movement in my lower portions. Nope, those pesky little creatures had not made a return visit and nope the Sunday Times hasn't introduced another supplement highlighting this week's porn releases. Far from it, the movement I felt was on the shrinkage rather than growing movement. The cause of my penis recoiling in horror was a restaurant review, the Guo-li-zhuang restaurant in Beijing is a specialist penis and testicle emporium! Yep, in this fancy place, complete with underfloor stream you can pick your way through an amazing variety of animal penises! There is the eye-wateringly large yak’s willy, which is about 45cm long, but thin, so thin. It’s been boiled, peeled, except for a hunk of foreskin still clinging on to the end! When asked about if it's strange to deal exclusively in genitalia, the chef shrugs and doesn’t know wha...

It's a red day!
2008-03-15 10:29:00
Colour, I love colour, I do, well it stops our world from looking like a 70's black and white TV, most of us have a favorite, be it yellow, green, brown, blue, pink or black. But did you know it can also change our moods. Black is often seen as sombre, down and depressing, after all it is the colour we use for mourning. Goth's and Emo's tend to wear mostly black and are seen as sad, tortured teens with enough angst's to swamp the over eaters cream cake tasting conference! Blue is the colour most associated with boys and equally pink for girls, although these days there is some blurring on this issue. But did you know, colour can also change the way you perform? The fact that English clubs Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal regularly top league tables is not a coincidence, say the experts from Durham University and the University of Plymouth.Red shirts give the team an advantage due to deep-rooted biological response to the colour. "In nature, red is often associated with ma...
Budget?
2008-03-12 17:45:00
It's budget day, one of the very very days in the year that the country as a whole, takes an interest in polotics, indeed most of us tune into to it on the TV or the radio or the more techo savy of us read and watch it on the net. The years budget has been fated as the 'Greenest Budget ' ever and the first by Mr Strange Eyebrows, Alistair Darling, but I don't see much evedence of that in the online analysis. OK, so there is a silly 6p tax going to be introduced on plastic carrier bags, just as the industry is making them green ansd biodegradeable, but I suppose it's a step int eh right direction, I'm just glad I use the 'bag for life' ones when I pop down to the market known as super. Plus the most gas guzzling car's will have a high road tax, but just for the first year, starting sometime in 2009! So that's going to make a big difference to the world, I don't think. Hardly a green budget at all really, in fact very little green and more red if you ask me.OK, so the basic ...

2008-03-11 19:50:00
Stormy weather in Brirghton! It's been a bit of a windy and wet day down here on the South coast, a bit bufferty to say the least. I got up early, well early-ish for a day off and headed into the opticians for my eye examination. Now, I've been kinda dreading this, I was rather convinced my eyes had deteriorated and I would now need glasses that more resemble milk bottle bottoms rather than optical enhancements. Actually, milk bottles? When was the last time you saw one of those?
