As I was expecting, the organizers (2012 peeps) have decided to group us alphabetically at the registration area. Group names were Bates, Berne, De Myer, Guyton, etc. which are based on the authors of popular (and recommended) first year med books in the college. As expected, too, Reinzi and I ended up being groupmates (we both have accepted the fact that we're only one person away in the class list, making us groupmates forever. Haha..).I must say, the Berne people (meaning, my groupmates) are a bunch of interesting individuals. Why? I dunno really. Hahaha. Suddenly, people expect you to be repsonsible, serious... a grown up. We get taller, we get older. But do we ever really grow up?This time I gave in. But at the end of the day I found myself smiling for no good reason at all. I'm hoping it will only get better the second time around.In some ways we grow up. 2008-05-23 12:48:00 Finally, nakalipat din ako. Saan? Diyan lang. I am so excited about moving in to a new place here in Manila. This is four years in the making, man! My closest friends know that. And why. =pSo. The place is a studio-type condominium unit, but has a fiber glass divider (hot no? haha!) for a semi-1-bedroom style. I have been living here for two weeks now, with my cousin who studies at Mapua. Actually we're still looking for one more male roommate. We just thought the place is still spacious for the two of us and adding one more wouldn't be a problem.We have no cable TV, but the local channels are as clear so we decided not to subscribe for cable channels anymore. We have a water heater (hahah!), just in time for the rainy season wherein the water supply from the building will be as cold as hell especially in the morning. What's the best yet in this condo unit is us having a free wifi connection. Shh! Hahah.. Since Day 1, my laptop has been detecting a quite average-speed wifi signal...
