Alien abductions and underground bases

Depiction of an alien abductionPicture courtesy of 3quarksdaily.blogs.comAlien abduction...It's been talked about in hushed and reverent tones for eons, but not until recently has the phenomena been brought forth into the public eye...It's not something anyone has to hide, or even be ashamed of anymore...Today it is almost 'popular' to claim you've been abducted by little gray men...Trouble is, some of them aren't so little and they don't always come in shades of gray...There are some new faces on the alien abduction scene, and according to the latest Roper Poll, ninety-three percent of people around the world believe we have been, and continue to be visited by beings from other worlds...Typical 'grey' aliens seen by many abducteesPicture courtesy of www.seeufos.comThe new trend is for abductees to be visited by and taken aboard spacecraft by beings who more closely resemble giant humanoid reptilians than little gray men with huge heads and slanted, black, almond shaped eye...

Sometimes the lyrics to songs say things better than we can say them ourselves...This is one song that pretty much sums up how I feel about you...Listen carefully like you always do, and you'll know what I'm trying to say...Especially on days like today when dark thoughts still plague my mind and nothing seems right in Nick's world, I know without doubt that you're out there...I know without doubt that you're still thinking about me and wondering how I'm doing...Well I'm doing ok, but I wish you were here too my friend...I wish you hadn't had to go so soon and leave the rest of us to miss you like crazy...But heaven needed another angel on staff so like always, you volunteered...I often talk to you but I don't really know if you can hear me, or if my voice reaches you amongst the billion or so other voices who are calling for you to come and help them...You were the best person I ever knew...Kind, loving, giving to a fault, thoughtful, considerate, loyal, steadfast and trus...

Picture courtesy of jupiterimages.comThanksgiving, a traditional American holiday, but what do I personally have to be thankful for? Well, that's a pretty long list...So I'll just list the top ten:Being alive...Never thought I'd make it this farThe love of my life...Never thought she'd stick with me this longMy music...It's part of who and what I am as a human beingMy animals...With whom I prefer spending more time with than peopleMy career...It pays the bills and puts food on the tableMy friends...Few and far between, but treasured each and every one of themMy sanity...And that's still highly questionableMy imagination...A tad off I know, but hey, it's still mine and I own itMy idiosyncrasies...Yeah I have quite a few, but my friends still put up with themMy differentness...I'm glad I'm unique and I don't care who knows itI can think of a hundred or more things I have to be thankful for, but most of you probably don't want to hear them all...So here's a list of ten thin...

Mythological Shangri-la from the 2004 movie 'Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow'Picture courtesy of wikipedia.com and Paramount Pictures (click picture once to enlarge)No record exists of people ever having seen the 100 foot-high waterfall and lush subtropical garden in the Tibetan Himalayas until now...Shangri-la...it conjures up visions of a wonderful yet mysterious place shrouded in clouds somewhere in a remote valley high in the Himalayas...It is also known as 'Shambhala' a mystical city in Tibetan Buddhist, but does this legendary paradise actually exist? Joy Of Flying
2007-11-21 22:21:00
Photo courtesy of megginson.comHaving a private pilots license can be a really fun thing...I know, I have one...But it takes a lot of hard work, determination, dedication and rigorous training to achieve the skill even to fly solo, let alone qualifying to carry real life, live passengers...The only problem is, once you've achieved the necessary skills to carry passengers, that, is where the REAL fun starts...You see, it's always the same, at least for me...Once I've finally agreed (always begrudgingly of course) to fly someone somewhere, and I've finally gotten everyone on board with all of their varied and sundry accoutrement's, I'm blithely taxing down the runway waiting for take off, when suddenly everybody on BOARD my aircraft decides that he or she is the PILOT and knows how to fly the damned thing better than I do!...Everybody has seen the movie 'Top Gun' right? Well, ya see, those were military F-14 Tomcats, (which, btw the United States Navy no longer uses, they've ...

Crop Circles

Crop circle with Penrose triangle in Waden Hill, Averbury (Wiltshire)Picture courtesy of im-possible.infoWhat are they? These are sometimes simple, sometimes elaborate circles made in crops all over the world...There have been many theories, conjectures and arguments over what they really are and who or what is actually making them...Crop circles are geometrical formations of flattened crops found in England and elsewhere around the globe...They have been found in wheat, barley, canola, rye, corn, linseed and soy...The earliest recorded image claimed to be a crop circle is depicted in a 17th century woodcut called the Mowing-Devil...The image depicts a strange creature (the Devil with a scythe) mowing (cutting) a circular design in a field of corn...The pamphlet the image appeared in states that the farmer, disgusted at the wage his mower was demanding for his work, insisted that he would rather have "the devil himself" perform the task...The Mowing Devil Picture courtesy of ourworl...

Picture courtesy of James Wolf and DeviantArtAndrewIt was an elven city nestled amongst the trees beside a clear brookBut the likes of such I had never seen before. Such beauty and peaceHere and tranquility, as if it had been carved from Mother NatureHerself and quite possibly it had been. Such a remarkable place...!I followed Marek and the elven guards along a stone path lit by Torches placed carefully beside the brook towards a great domed Structure that towered high above the trees with other dwellingsBeneath it. I did not even dare to speak as we drew closer to it...And Marek did not offer words nor explanation for such a place toHave remained so hidden and secretive for all these many eons, forIt was obvious even to my untrained eye that these structures wereNot made for mere mortal occupants, but for magical beings instead...I worried briefly about Archer and what mischief he might be into butMarek only turned his head to look at me and smile. When I did askHim a question he gave only a short, curt answer and nothing more.I tried explaining my presence here but he seemed disinterested...The further we travelled into the woods the more isolated and aloneI felt, and the fear inside me began to take it's toll. I needed toBe free of him, free of this place. So many things plagued my mindAnd yet, my companion remained silent and aloof. Not seeming to care...We stopped only briefly to water his mare but did not dismount. HeSaid it would be better from this point on to stay mounted. When IInquired as to why, his reply was simply, 'For your own good.' andThen he returned abruptly to his silent vigil. My nerves grew edgy. When I could take no more of his irritating silence I said, 'Would youBe kind enough to tell me how far we must travel to meet this king ofYours? I have important i...

The Nephilim

Ancient depiction of the Nephilim Picture courtesy of about.comGenesis 6:4, King James Version... There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. The Nephilim were a race of giants that were produced by the sexual union of the sons of God (presumably fallen angels) and the daughters of men. Translated from the Hebrew texts, "Nephilim" means "fallen ones". They were renowned for their strength, prowess, and a great capacity for sinfulness. Excerpt text courtesy of about.comBut who were these beings really? These "fallen ones"? Were they just a Biblical myth? Or did a race of hybrid giants actually exist on Earth before the Great Flood? Some recent, controversial claims of gigantic skeletal remains being unearthed around the world, suggest that the biblical tales of the Nephilim may have been based on actual fact...Contro...

In the meantime, I'll put up a new post tomorrow for you to see what it's all about...Take care and be well,Nick
