I was early this morning, the boss came in with gifts for us all , I got a small bottle of Jack Daniels which is ok I suppose but I knew he wouldn’t be taking us all out for dinner this Christmas.

Vampire Stories & Rules

Over the years, I have seen quite a lot of vampire stories in movies and on TV and new ones seem to pop up every now and then with a new take on the vampire genre (I just saw a new one on TV called moon light about a vampire private detective, lol) so my random question is that if you were writing a vampire story, what would be your 5 rules that a vampire lives and dies by, at least one rule needs to be original.

The Number 13 – Unlucky for some

It is the 13th year that my wife and I have been together as a couple, that is a long time, as I was 19 when we first hooked up but I must say I have no regrets.

Christmas Movies

It is tradition in our house to give ourselves a little push in the right direction to get us into the Christmas spirit so that means listening to the Christmas music (I like fairy tale of Yew York) and watch festive Hollywood movies, so far it has been home alone 1 & 2 (3 & 4 are rubbish but I will end up watching them anyway) and the Santa Clause 1 & 2 (3 to come), doesn’t that show just how non religious and commercial my life is (I like it that way).

The Day After The Night Before

Well the Christmas party went well, I behaved myself throughout the night and came home with no scars which was good but I had no sleep because the girls kept me and my wife up most of the night although I still ended up with the mother of all hangovers this morning.

One of my work colleagues was going on today about how each individual in the room could be imagining the world around them and each person could be a piece of that imagination, I said to him that I don’t think I am imaging because If I were, I wouldn’t be imagining him :)

A Movie Franchise Destined To Go On Forever

I just watched Resident Evil Extinction, oh dear, the film started off quite clever but went down hill about half way through although there was the usual action it seemed to me that the whole film was geared towards the ending that left the move, once again in this series, open for yet another sequel so it sucked even though it had the chick in it from Heroes who plays Jessica / Nicky.

The Xmas Do

It's my work Christmas party tomorrow and my wife is driving so I have been looking at some websites on what not to do in this situation so I can vaguely remember them when I am drunk on the free booze talking to the bosses’ wife or someone I have to face on Monday morning.

Random Dreams When You Are Ill

It may be me but as I lay in bed, asleep, with my man flu, my dreams were very random with a great deal of hallucination in there as well because at one point, I was floating over the popular children’s TV's Lazy Town, putting for sale signs on all of the houses while random music from the show was going on in my head and I was just wandering if anyone else has very strange dreams when they are ill?

My Day

I went to work, came home at dinner with man flu, went to bed, got up, had tea (bacon sandwiches), put the girls to bed (they went to sleep after about 15 minutes phew), wrapped a couple of Christmas presents with my love, watched a movie (me myself and Irene, I never tire of that film always makes me laugh) and off to bed which is a good idea because I feel lousy and I don’t think I will go into work tomorrow.

The Christmas Tree Is Up

Yes the tree is up and the task fell to me once again to untangle the Christmas lights although it wasn't to bad this year but this is the first year with a tree and a couple of inquisitive mobile toddlers (I will give it a day before it topples for the first time).
