I honestly cannot believe that I didn't get the time to post this entire week too. Actually, am surprised I even remember that I have a blog.Assignments have been on my head continuously, and idiot that I am, want to do extra work. Terribly sorry for the weekly updates...but you will all have to get used to it. Classes have started and I am drowning in assignments already. Apart from that, now since I have to cook and do laundry myself, not to mention shop for supplies, and keep track of my bank account... I am definitely not going to be able to post for quite a while.However, I can post stuff about my work. Though it might be a little boring. Lets see. Far as stories and funny incidents of my life are concerned, its just not going to happen on a regular basis right now. Why? Well technically I am writing this while on the plane, but considering that this shall be posted long after I reach Singapore , figured this above title is more appropriate. Finally am on my way. The only thing that can stop me now is if my plane decides to crash or something. I sincerely hope that doesn’t happen. Specially if we crash land on some little deserted island… I just know that after all the food is gone, the crowd will all gang up on me and enjoy a tasty fried Hershey. Don’t want none of that. So terribly sorry for not updating the cave frequently. I will be writing something by the end of this week, either later today or tomorrow. This is my absolute promise. Giving just a short update,have finally settled almost perfectly in singapore. Created my own bank account, got my billing cell number, access to the national library(which is damn huge) and other miscellaneous stuff.Still have living accommodation crisis, but am looking into it soon...hostel life is fun, but not for me...if I am to live in a hostel, it has to be a private room. Hopefully I will find a 3 Bedroom apartment, and 2 decent roo..housemates? The current roomie absolutely sucks.I have written around 4 pages giving details on what has happened so far, its still a bit incomplete though. First off, apologies for the week long absence(again!). My Visa has arrived and thus, currently operating on luggage packing mode. You will not believe the stuff I have to take with me.Anyway, the flight has been booked for 3rd April, soooo...yea, pretty busy at this point doing last minute shopping.With regards to this blog, I have been meaning to do some changes, which as still in progress. My best guess is that around 60% of the upgrading is done. I am also trying my best to cover up any pending work and try to get back on track as soon as possible. Hey. You may or may not be wondering why there have been no updates for a while. Well as it turns out, I had to suddenly rush to ahemdabad. It is not a bad place, but neither is it good. Well, I have modified the current banner for now.Actually wanted to change the whole thing(again) and put up a new one, complete with a whole new look for my blog. You see, I have just extended my knowledge of html a bit and really want to try stuff out on my blog.But I guess it does get a little annoying for the readers if I keep changing the color schemes every few days... so I think I will keep this one for a while. Very excited to try this stuff out, it will be quite a unique look. Already played around with some of the techniques, though only in "preview" mode. I have to say, looking very much forward to the day I renovate my blog. Will probably do it mid-April.In other news, the swelling is gone, the pain is hardly there, but these damn stitches have GOT to go. For the love of god please make it stop!So many things flooding my life... everything begone! I am tired of this now...The constant annoying pain in my teeth.. Had all of my 3rd molars removed, 2 via surgery... now my smile is missing 4 teeth..luckily they were way behind and weren't visible in my smile anyway. But the surgery... for 2 days it bloated my face up... my lovely jaw suddenly changed shape and looked like a block...a big square.To top it off, I couldn't eat. Seriously, it wasn't the pain that made me stay on liquids for 2 days.Oh no no, it was the fact that my mouth was so damn swollen that I could barely part my lips... drinking water was a tedious process. I had to drink water...using a damn straw.Water...straw...heights of annoyance.Now, the swelling having considerably reduced, except for one small area on either side of the lower jaw, is still giving me problems.First the jaw itself, is super sensitive to touch right now... forget resting it on my hand while I am...

Inking a sketch

This is a simple reason why inking is essential after drawing a sketch.Unfortunately I realized that I could write a post on this after I finished inking so can't really show the "before" and "after" images...butHere are two different characters I drew last week itself. One is just a penciled work, the other is given more detail with ink. Forgive the lack of facial expressions... As you can see, the first one, the eyes are hidden out. And in the second one I drew the eyes, they looked weird, so I covered em up. I really need a LOT of practice with the damn eyes.Penciled:and now, the inked one:Look at it... the inked one looks like a printout! So damn cool.I also noticed quite a lot of smudges in the inked picture... have to remember to keep some cloth near me next time to frequently wash my fingers...Bottom line, ink your sketches... and you don't really need a tutorial for basic inking..am thinking of inking that upper sketch too...but quite lazy and already have my third sketch ...

So many things to talk about. My writer's block was lifted and all the ideas just came pouring out, overflowing my brain...like when a dam breaks and the water flows down destroying everything in its path.Too lazy to type stuff up these days... I need to get one of those speech to text softwares. AND I need someone to conjure up good titles for my post... "A week ago"...ick. Ever have those moments where you find yourself choking someone or just punching them in the face...or in my case, first pulling my hair, then going out of the room, coming back in with an iron pipe and going homicidal on the computer....I hate online application forms. Filled in every little minuscule information they asked for, cross checked it, and finally hit the "send" button.All is good. Everything done in record time, now all that was left was them to look it over, forward whatever information is required by the immigration department and viola..I would get my permit to enter Singapore.But does that happen? My blog gets an average of around 40-50 visits a day. Either via search engines or through other websites, you can keep track by feedburner.3 days ago it jumped to 120.2 days ago it reached 129Yesterday it jumped up to 169.... Weird.Also, the visitors are from different areas of the world... not from the cities that commonly log in to read my posts. WARNING: The following is a ... well, its a piece of my thoughts and I assure you there is no "LOL" stuff in here. As expected, the Iron Maiden concert in mumbai rocked!!!The first thing I would like to say, I am finally getting my hearing and my voice back... it was soooo loud, and when Iron maiden finally showed up in the end, all the continuous cheering and screaming gave me a sore throat the next day.But it was well worth it.The concert ended kinda quickly though. I guess I was expecting a bit too much when I assumed they will play ALL their songs... but they only played around... I dunno...15-16 tracks I think... wasn't counting... 16. Definitely 16.By the time the other "nobody really cares if you play" bands finished with their act, I was so hopelessly tired. Thought I would collapse at any point now. Good "morning" eyes, and then... as the sun sets, evil shows its face....Some fun with photoshop. I know I overdid the evil part, guess I got carried away. Should have stuck with the faint dark skin and red eyes... sadly, by the time I realized it, was too late to change.
