This was one of the more boring assignments I could possibly get.Make a coke poster. God, that is so lame. Just last semester I did a cellphone one. Come on. One is enough now.Professor even gave it at the worst possible time. One week before final submissions. So naturally, I wasn't too keen on spending too much time on this nonsense.Just made any random thing I could think of.But see...I am a competitive guy. I don't take it lightly when other people in my batch make something better than mine. If is related to arts and crafts I accept defeat. I need a vacation

Seriously, I need a big long vacation. Ok, updates on the past week.You already know about my cave painting and egyptian painting assignment. For those who don't, I have to conjure up some story, any damn story, and reasonably short. Something around 3-4 lines should be enough. This story will be represented via pictograms a.k.a. damn cave paintings, and also then I gotta become this egyptian painter and show the same story in hieroglyphs. This of course, would be easy if I had a story. Would have been much easier if I could use the computer for this. But alas, this semester is all drawing by hand unless specified.This sucks.For rendering, I had to draw lines, which sucked too. Design principles got more troubles as I have to come up with 36 symbols for the sun and moon. I only wonder...why? Why would anyone want so many symbols. Sheesh. Hey people,I have finally finished my submissions, the last one being a real pain in the butt. It was at that point I realized that technology is really bad. People shouldn't build giant skyscrapers. Ah yes, superglue. A wonderful little sticky thing. I had to use it to make patterns(pictures of my work will come in the next post).I am amused by this glue. Its Elmer's super glue. It says on the box that this thing will bond any two objects in seconds, and can hold a ton of weight.ONE drop..holds a TON of weight.I wonder who has tried this out.Anyway, that's not the reason I am writing this post.The glue has like half a dozen instructions, which are pretty stupid.1. Protect work area(duh)2. Pierce tube before using(or else you won't get any glue)3. Remove cap(else you won't see any glue)4. Parts to be glued must mate(WTF!!!)5. Join parts for 30 seconds(how will they mate then?)6. In one of my "not-so" earlier posts, I had mentioned a list of assignments that I have to complete.A brief update on that.1. Typography journal2. Dadaism sculpture3. Ok, this one is long overdue. I believe I had promised of posting this one when I had shown you my surrealism assignments. That was almost a month ago. Ok these are my usual typography assignments. I just have to face it. There is no sense fighting anymore. I simply can't keep my blog updated on a regular basis. Its 2am.I just came home with groceries.Shopping. At 2am!Well I had no choice. There was nothing in the house. No seriously, there was absolutely nothing in the house. Psst, I am just ignoring the fact that I keep delaying my posts, and am tired of apologizing. So, lets just get with the post ok?So college started again. And boy oh boy it was a pain.My schedule this time, is thankfully, only 3 days instead of 4. However, those 4 days, I had to go from 2pm to 6pm. Truly, honestly, really.I wish I could post. I wish there was time to describe my day in detail and post my assignments... but I can't. I am so swamped that you won't even believe.Its been one presentation after another. And the worse part for me is, I have to make sure every presentation excels the previous one.Competing with myself is hard. But I have set the limit... my professor considers me as the peak of the class, the top of the mountain that everyone must try to reach. Whatever I do, its done with perfection, in their eyes. Personally I am never satisfied and keep tweaking and giving better stuff.Ok..good news, bad news.This shit will keep happening till 26th definitely. Its the last day of college.Final presentations are on 23, 24, 25 and 26.
