Hunting for a Coffee Maker
2008-01-04 23:47:00
Wow!My husband drinks enough coffee to sink a ship. Not only that, but he's fussy too! He's grown tired of instant coffee (what he charmingly refers to as 'house coffee') and now wants us to get our very own coffee maker - without having to spend alot! We've both done alot of searching for a coffee maker and have found a site which deals with CUISINART Coffee Maker s...And here's why I recommend them: The site is neatly and clearly laid out. More importantly, we were able to view a range of over 50 different types of coffee maker, together with pictures and brief/full descriptions and perform side by side comparisons (of makes and models). Additionally, there's a 'wizerank' for each one. 'Wizerank' being from 100% downwards and listed in order of preferred vendor model/make choice.Using those tools, we decided to do a review on three different model numbers (and pricetags):The Cuisinart Brew Central 12-Cup Coffee MakerThe Cuisinart DTC-975 12-Cup Coffee MakerThe Cuisinart P...

Meatballs..Again!!
2008-01-04 19:16:00
Experiment time...haha..it's a good thing it worked if not hubby will probably end up spending his time at the "throne" ie; toilet. Well, as I still have the "Kentucky" flour left; this flour is actually for chicken and you are suppose to deep fry it so that it will turn out like the KFC.I made the minced pork into balls and then dipped them in beaten eggs and the flour. Then put them in the oven to bake. Also had grilled sausages, in case, the meatballs ends up in the trash. Anyway, boiled the mange tout, sugarsnap peas, leek and carrots. Then add with gravy. Food is ready to eat. The meatballs were crispy on the top..yummmm...

Webhosting
2008-01-04 10:57:00
I am currently looking for hosting and email for my own domain name. A lot of my family and friends have been 'going on' about "hosting this" and "hosting that" and providing links to multitudes of choices, without and independent analysis or information about what that particular host is like. I've now found the website http://www.webhostingchoice.com , which provides independent news, reviews, opinions and consumer feedback on what X host is like. The first thing I've found useful about this site is that you can state your minimum and maximum monthly budget, how much disk space and bandwidth you require (also per month) and then provides output and suggestions based on what you have entered. So, I will probably give this a try.

Special Seafood Tom Yam
2008-01-04 00:17:00
Nowadays, I like to experiment with food, I was in the mood you see. So, as hubby can't take spicy food, I make it as spicy as I can because I love spicy hot food. Oh dear, blogging about it makes me drool now...I use the Thai tom yam paste from Waitrose, Zhong Shan Laifen ( rice vermicelli), cod fish, prawns, broccoli, carrots with spring onions, garlic and bird's eye finger chillies as condiments. Just boil the vermicelli till it's soft, by the way, the vermicelli is like the Penang Assam Laksa noodles. Then boil the cod and prawns till it's cooked, add in the vegetables, the vermicelli and tom yam paste. That's it, just sprinkle the condiments..the garlic, chilli and spring onions, my special seafood tom yum is served!! Yummy..good taste like in the shop...haha..self-praised!

How to Choose
2008-01-03 23:42:00
Like my cousin Greg, I actually do love gambling as well. I can be hooked on gambling and if I don't stop, I will just do nothing but play all day. So, if I were to do that I need to make sure that the Casinos I visit is safe, reputable and secure. There is a casino review and guide site that helps you with it. The Casinoparty website is a portal which details, monthly, the best deals and promotions available on the internet. This month alone, Casinoparty have reviewed no less than six sites, with neutral reviews. They also discuss free casino bonuses, review online casino software and provide downloads. Greg did some digging into the reputation of Casinoparty and found our that they have more than five year experience in this field. So, Greg and I will see you there!

New Year's Day
2008-01-03 23:41:00
I forgot to post about this. Nowadays, I have a lot on my mind, so I have been getting SML - Short Memory Loss....hehehe. My hubby and I had a quiet New Year's Eve in, welcoming in the New Year together and watching the countdown live, from London, on the TV. Oh yes, with wine too.. I have been drinking quite a lot these few days...must stop now...haha.Then the next day, had lunch with my MIL again. It's a tradition for her. So we had pork with apple sauce. Also had some stuffing, roast potatoes, carrots, brussel sprouts and sausagemeat with it as well. For dessert, we had apple and blueberry pie with custard. Forgot to take photo of the dessert..was busy eating..hehe. So that was our New Year spent. I do miss spending the New Year in Malaysia with family and friends! Hopefully I will one year!

Another Great News!
2008-01-03 21:04:00
I have finally signed up for payperpost and my blog has now been approved! I have been waiting for this moment since the day I started blogging. I first learnt about it from other fellow blogger when I blog-hopped to their blogs. I wanted to start immediately but couldn't as my blog was fairly new. I read up the rules and one of the requirements was my blog has to be 3 months old at least before I can write paid posts. I was so disappointed and was counting the days till I could get my blog approved and the day has arrived! Yippee! Through blogging, I have made a number of friends and needless to say I enjoy reading their blogs. It makes life more interesting and I can learn a lot too from them like cooking recipes..and parenting ideas! So I can't wait to start on my paid post! Why? Because...I have a shopping list here that is so very very long of what I would like to do with the money I will be earning....ie; holidays, toys and new laptop...So if you have a blog and haven't sign...

Toilets
2008-01-03 20:44:00
When we went shopping the other day at Trafford Centre, I took photos of these .. haha .. toilets...why? Female, male and disabled toilets. Breastfeeding room and baby change room.Mother and toddler/child toilet.Well, it's because the facilities in Malaysia are not good. We don't have so many different types of toilets and baby facilities there. Even if there is, it would probably be dirty. So, I wonder when will Malaysia follow here where they provide these type of facilities in all the shopping centres and public places.

Great Choice!
2008-01-03 19:24:00
One of my best girlfriend's birthday is approaching next month. I was cracking my head trying to think what should I get Emma for her birthday. She just moved to the States from the UK. I have been looking around on the internet for many days and nights. Finally I found something that would be a very good present and suitable for her as well!Emma loves flowers and nature. She also loves decorating her house and rooms. So, I found a site for Girls Bedding. There are a variety of designs on it. I think not only Emma will like the design I chose but I am falling in love with so many of them!! Oh my goodness, so many of the designs that I like and would love for my bed. I have shown it to hubby and he seems happy with my choice for our bed that I will purchase. Look at all the different types of design. There is one for everyone. It is so great! Besides, the website is easy to use and I just love it! So what do you think of the design I chose for Emma? Beautiful isn't it?

Mixed Grill With Vegetables
2008-01-01 18:02:00
We had this on New Year's Eve. I was experimenting with the salmon...haha. I dipped the salmon in eggs and the "Kentucky" flour. It was supposed to be used for chicken...haha..so luckily it turned up quite good...and yummy! As the sausages were going out of date so I decided to use them up. Delicious sausage..chicken sausage and bacon both grilled while the salmon was baked. Then had lightly boiled vegetables; carrots, potatoes, onions and leek. Made some gravy for the vegetables as well so that's my special grill..after that had a glass of white wine..I have too much wine lately...

Geoff's story...
2007-12-31 01:44:00
One of hubby's best mate, Geoff is in his late 30's, like alot of other American's, let his debt level go out of control, to the stage where he couldn't keep up with the monthly repayments......then he started ignoring the letters, demands and things got worse, to the stage where he ended up on unemployment. Needless to say, his credit rating was about as it ever could be.Along comes a new love in Geoff's life, who'll we'll call 'Anita'.Anita moves in with Geoff and helps him get his life back in order, find a new job and also wants to help him restructure his debt problems, and find a place where credit can be obtained.Anita does the usual web search and found a website for people like Geoff. As Geoff is one of a growing army of bad credit people in the States, this site had just the information he needed concerning some counselling on his credit and getting bad credit loans. That website is an ideal resource and much better than simply responding to junk mail sent in the p...

Tag - Do You Spare The Rod
2007-12-30 21:28:00
This is another tag but from Dora...I don't really believe in sparing the rod, however I don't use it on Ian..haha..unless necessary, furthermore, you can be jailed here if you use the rod, but I don't really care..I will give Ian warning for two times not to do it, and if he insist on doing it then he will get a smack/tap/whack on his hand depending on what he was doing. I usually will let him know that what he is doing is naughty, he usually will stop doing it when I say that. So, he rarely gets the rod/palm...If he gets the smack, then I will let him know what he was doing is wrong and explain to him even though he does not understand it...hehe, but as he gets older I will start the naughty corner...So, I would like to know how the more experienced ladies..handle their children... Next On Our List
2007-12-30 01:22:00
A few more days before New Year, hubby and I have a long list of things to buy. We are planning to change our TV to an LCD one. We are eyeing for the 40 inch or 32 inch LCD TV. Haven't decided on the brand yet. We want to have the TV wall mounted so that it is out of reach of Ian. Anyway, we have seen this TV Wall Bracket. It looks good and reliable. There are different variety brackets...3 directional, multi-directional, tilting ones and more. They offer next day delivery as well and no hassle. It even comes with an 18 month warranty! We will consider it when we get our TV..can't wait!

The One Thing We Are Always Needing..
2007-12-29 20:02:00
Cash is a very important part of every one's life. It is even worse if we are always short of cash. There are many ways of getting extra cash, take more jobs, work more hours. But if you have already done that and still in need for more emergency cash especially over the festive season, then where else can we go.My friend, Mika, is forever short of money. She is forever in need of cash advance. She shops like nobody's business. Worse still, she has to feed her son and have a mortgage to pay. Sometimes, she buys unnecessary things. Because she is a shopaholic, she is in constant need for money. So, she needs to find a payday loan. These are to help pay for her essentials till she receive her pay. Sort of an advance. She wants to find a good company that is easy to apply to and no hassle. She wants it to be like a walk in the park. So I have agreed to help her with that because I sympathize with her son. So to keep her up with her payments, I will to help her look for loan and found ...

Graham's Problems
2007-12-29 19:53:00
Thanks to the inability to do his maths correctly, my friend Graham found himself under-estimating the cost of Christmas and impossibly short of money...So, Graham rings me and asks for help in finding the source for a payday loan. He is behind in paying for his mortgage and other payments. So, it's the holiday season and I was in one of my charitable moods, I obliged. After searching around, I found trustesource.org, a third party product review resource site with helpful information about getting Graham his emergency cash advance .Graham and I went through that website with some care, including reviewing the pledge for satisfaction guaranteed. After some emails and enquiries to the some of the recommended links, Graham managed to get himself sorted out with one of several payday loans. He was so happy that the website was very easy to use and informative, it helped with his problem as he is not so good with the Internet. Now that he is up to date with his bills and payment, he won...

Shopping Here I Come!!
2007-12-29 00:26:00
I love shopping..as all of you know....but my hubby is very careful with the family finances. So whenever we go shopping, we would look for the best deal. Shopping online is also one of my favourite past-time. I can spend hours browsing online for the best offers!Anyway, hubby wanted to buy some new books from Amazon, using some of the ca$h he had been given for Christmas this year. However he didn't want to pay for postage. After Googling around, I came across Coupon Codes and got a discount voucher to save $25 / £12.50 off Amazon postage. Now Hubby can have his books! The coupons has also been proven useful for other savings we're planning to make for upcoming home improvements, gifts and birthday purchases and the inevitable family holiday. Yippee..more shopping!!

O' Christmas Tree...
2007-12-24 16:03:00
I am writing so many post today because I am late.. as usual.. anyway,I was driving hubby nuts when I kept singing this song...O' Christmas Tree ..for the past week..why..because we have no Christmas tree ..I changed it to "No Krismas tree..no krismas tree...oh, we don't have krismas tree...hehe.. So, on Saturday, we went to Ikea. Not to get a Christmas tree, because they didn't have any! They only have Christmas decorations for sale like 49 pence..real bargain! And also some for 99 pence! So I got some for our non-existence tree..hahaha..ended up with an armchair as well, and also a lamp and some bulbs. Had Ikea's meatballs and rice with mushroom stroganof. Nice food! But the chocolate mouse looks like shit..hehe..Then went back and assemble the stuff...still no Christmas tree! So, yesterday, I was online looking for Christmas trees on offer, then I found one from Argos! Haha..5ft, pre-lit for £29.90. Ok...so I booked it and asked hubby to collect it! So, got my christmas...
Shopping at Trafford Centre
2007-12-24 12:25:00
Last Saturday, we went to the Trafford Centre in Manchester. It was really busy. This post is late again because I have been busy..hehe.. Anyway, we had lunch at the food court..wah..so many people..look at the queue. Later on went shopping....didn't buy anything, just a winter cap for Ian and myself. However, we took photos of the decorations. Quite nice, they have a huge Christmas tree called Joseph Jinglebells..hehe. He sings every 15 minutes...Ian loves it! Then we use "the reins" on Ian for the first time. It was so crowded, so we better use it since he like to run everywhere. He doesn't mind, but everytime time we enter a shop, he will start to turn the other way and say "no". So daddy and him walk outside while mummy feast her eyes on stuff...hehe.. I don't know what the Simpsons were doing there ;PWe went there at about near to 12 noon and by the time we finish walking it was 6pm...yup..very big..so tired after that...just went home and sleep..haha...

I have been busy these few days..because I was doing everything last minute! On Friday, I was wrapping up presents. These are only half of the presents. Ian tried helping/"disturbing" with the wrapping! Look at what he was trying to do! *Slap head*...wasting my wrapping papers. After he got tired of tearing the paper, he tried stuffing the paper in his car where the petrol tank is! I wonder where he learnt that from! I hope he doesn't do that when he is older...hehe!

Sunday Lunch
2007-12-24 00:43:00
We had Sunday lunch at one of the pubs, the week on my birthday. So this is actually a backdated post..hehe..I forgot about it! Getting senile nowadays! It's just a simple lunch. All of us, MIL, hubby and I, we had traditional turkey with vegetable and roast potatoes and parsnip as well. It was 3 course meal for £9.95 per person. Quite cheap. Ian had chicken strips with fries, but as usual he didn't finish his food, he was a bit sleepy I think.Starter was mushroom soup. I had the 3 course meal..hehe. MIL and hubby had the 2 course, main meal and dessert for £6.95.For dessert, MIL and I had strawberry cake or gateau and hubby had christmas pudding with custard. Overall the food was quite good, but the service was a bit slow. Other than that it was fine.

As for my mum, she would like to visit the Cardiff Castle, Millenium Stadium and Llandaff Cathedral. I told them that it would be no problem at all. I found some information on the attractions on the following Dublin and Cardiff sites.I will also try and book accomodation for us in some of the Dublin Hotels and also the Cardiff Hotels. I would like to go to Newcastle and Leeds to visit some of the attractions when we are travelling around.I was told that the St James Park, The Quayside, Bridges, Royal Armouries Museum, Temple Newsam and Thackray Medical Museum are quite worth visiting. Movie Marathon
2007-12-20 19:00:00
For the past week, I have been "hooked" on the TV and DVD. Why? It's because I am really outdated in the most recent movies. I went to the DVD shop and got these DVDs. Look at the titles and you know how backdated I am in movies. The only show that I watched when I was back in Penang was "The Golden Compass"...I know sort of like children's movie..half adult half children I would say. I went with my friend, Annie and her colleagues. We watched the first show at around 11pm..yup, that is the first showing. My friend was not really enjoying it...because she thought that it was childish, but as for me...aiya... I watch everything..haha. Okay, I digress, as I was saying, I rented out these movies. It was on offer, rent 2 get one free for £7.90 and you get to keep for a week whereas normally you only get to keep for a night or two. So, it was worth it, I had to get all..hahahaha..greedy. I watched the "Transformers" first..I have real high expectation for it as it was said to be real go...

More Money For Greg??
2007-12-20 15:03:00
I was chatting with Greg , my cousin online and he asked me to recommend and help him find more online casino. As I was chatting with him, a banner pop out. It was a website which features casinos from all over in the US, UK and Europe as well. I sent him the url and told him that he can also win in Euros and Pounds as well, playing in the casinos which pays out in those currencies!! That would make him very happy! In the website it shows ratings and reviews for each online casino. It also shows the maximum payouts and bonus as well. If my cousin fancy bingo, he can also play it online and be paid in pounds! The list of games is endless, roulette, craps, poker and it goes on. So, guess what, I think Greg will be stuck at home 24/7 nowadays..thanks to me...hehe..
