Valentine's Day is less than a month away. Have you decided on what to get for your Valentine? I haven't. But I have been looking around the internet for good deals. I saw this 1800flowers.com website. There is so much to choose from, gift, fruit baskets, flowers and plants. I am looking to get hubby something for Valentine's Day and I think that he would love the chocolates I am planning to get him. I might even get a bouquet of flowers for my mother in-law. She would love the multi-coloured roses I think. The price is also reasonable. So I better put my orders down and not last minute. Best thing is they also have valentines day delivery. Cooking can be stressful at times. Trying to come up with a recipe to suit the family. We can cook with all kinds of meat and vegetables. But trying to come up with different dishes using the same meat can be a headache. I can try grilling, stir-frying, baking , boiling or steaming the meat. However, my family likes to eat chicken a lot. So, I have been cracking my head trying to change to different style of cooking. You see, they love flame-grilled chicken just like El Pollo Loco's. It is a flame-grilled chicken marinated in their own herbs, citrus juices and spices. But nothing I make is close to El Pollo Loco's. Anyway, it appears that I am not the only one trying to grill the chicken like El Pollo Loco's. You can find many people trying out their own different chicken recipes . But I guess nothing beats El Pollo Loco!

I was supposed to start my evening class tonight. So I cooked early, bathed Ian and prepare a list of hundred things for my hubby to do "in case " and "if" Ian cries..bla bla bla...hehe..My class was scheduled to start at 7pm. So I quickly drove to the Boy's High School and parked my car. Wah.. so many people and it's pissing it down...jeez..I just washed my hair. So, I was looking for signs leading to my class, asked around, the janitor, I think, took me around the whole school and then up the stairs...huffing and puffing...out of breath..see how fit I am...muahaha... When I reached outside the class, thanked the man, then entered the class, the lecturer stared at me...yes? Err..is this the..class? Yes, but we are finishing the course, these are the last few classes... Oh, I said never mind...went back to where I came from....sweating...out of breath....nearly 7pm. My ex-colleague moved to Arizona 2 years ago. She has bought a house there and she has been complaining about pest problems since she moved in. She's been having problems with mice and ants. You read the title right.....*sob* I'm back to work tonight..Sunday night. I am back at my old job..sell coffee...haha.. But this time I am going to work just 2 or 3 nights a week. It is too much to work every night or 5 nights a week. I cannot cope. Will end up a zombie! When I go to work at 9:30pm , hubby looks after Ian, he's asleep anyway. So by the time I come back at 6am, he would still be asleep. I don't get to sleep until afternoon, if I am lucky and Ian takes a nap. Never mind, I am still applying for jobs, so hopefully I get a better one. This is just temporary to save some money..hehe.. I'm also taking night course...for a night. When I was back in Penang, I met up with some of my friends and colleagues. I was having lunch with an ex-colleague and he was with a girl. Well, my friend, Jason, is married, in his early 30s and have a son. Jason introduced this girl as Ann and he told me that she is his assistant. That was the end of it, I never thought of anything else.Then I met up with Jason a couple of times with my other friends as well, just for drinks and dinner. I noticed several times that Ann is always around and they even held hands everywhere!I was actually surprised, because, Jason's wife is the sort that would call him a hundred times a day, just to check on him. That is right. I did another careless and stupid thing... I lost my camera!!! My Precious CAMERA!!!!! I lost one last year and now another one!!! Boo Hoo Hoo....If you read here, I replaced a new one just last year, not long ago....*sob*..How did I manage to do that? Well, I went out for lunch with my Malaysian friends here, so I thought, I thought of taking photos of us and all. It was raining, Ian was not in his good mood. I took the camera down,from the van and left it with my coat and everything just by the seat. We had our lunch..yack and yack to our heart's content.... then when we were leaving, Ian did a poo poo..hahaha..so I had to change him. I had to do it quick as well because I have an appointment at the dentists for both of us. We had this the night before. I was a bit lazy, so I just marinate the pork in whatever sauce I can find..haha..which is err....Nando's BBQ sauce and I also mixed it with the Lee Kum Kee Oyster sauce. Then I leave it in the oven till it's cooked. Just boiled the vegetables, as usual; leek, potatoes, carrots, onions and cauliflower. Then add some gravy on the vegetables.
