2008-01-11 02:36:00 That is right. I did another careless and stupid thing... I lost my camera!!! My Precious CAMERA!!!!! I lost one last year and now another one!!! Boo Hoo Hoo....If you read here, I replaced a new one just last year, not long ago....*sob*..How did I manage to do that? Well, I went out for lunch with my Malaysian friends here, so I thought, I thought of taking photos of us and all. It was raining, Ian was not in his good mood. I took the camera down,from the van and left it with my coat and everything just by the seat. We had our lunch..yack and yack to our heart's content.... then when we were leaving, Ian did a poo poo..hahaha..so I had to change him. I had to do it quick as well because I have an appointment at the dentists for both of us. Cannot be late or else, we'll miss it.If we miss it, we will be fined/charged and will have a black mark on our name. Another two times, and we will be struck off the dentist's list! Juicy Pork And Vegetables

I was a bit lazy, so I just marinate the pork in whatever sauce I can find..haha..which is err....Nando's BBQ sauce and I also mixed it with the Lee Kum Kee Oyster sauce. Then I leave it in the oven till it's cooked. Just boiled the vegetables, as usual; leek, potatoes, carrots, onions and cauliflower. Then add some gravy on the vegetables. Ian's 2.5 Year Check
2008-01-10 09:03:00 I took Ian to the Health Visitor for his 2 and the half year check. We discuss everything, from speech to sleeping habits. Also his development and his progress to see if he is progressing all right for his age. Everything is fine except for his speech and as usual his eating habits. Ian has got the worst eating habits, he is very, very picky. Anyway, his speech is slow, but he goes to the speech therapist, so I hope he will improve very much soon. Anyway, checked his height and weight, height is 99cm and 15kg. Height is considered tall for his age. Weight is alright. So, that's it, then it's off to the speech therapist on Friday. Anyway, everyone who goes for the 2 and the half year checks are given the Sure Start pack which is a pack of books and crayon in a yellow file/bag. Instead of going in through the door and then pushing the car, he decided that the car should be his "climbing activity" car. He climbed in through the door to the seat then out through the front "windscreen". Haha! This goes one for many times, non-stop for about 20 minutes. Then he decided to sit on his Thomas the Tank Engine scooter and push it instead of standing up. So, he pushes it to and fro watching TV. 2008-01-05 18:48:00 Today woke up to a nice lovely morning, sunshine..that's winter for you here. Weather gone nuts..I want SNOW!!! Where is my SNOW? I will be lucky if it snows....it rarely snows here...Snow is good if you don't have to go anywhere..hehe..but dangerous if you have to drive to work..Although there was sunshine, it was really chilly and cold. But as it is daylight savings, it goes dark early, starting at around 4pm. Miserable..Anyway,we went for some grocery shopping at Tesco today. Bill came to about £55 for a weeks food! That includes 3 big packets of Ian's nappy as well. So it was not really that bad I guess. After that just relax and stayed at home doing housework....oh what joy....so now it's time to zzzzzz.. Meatballs..Again!!
2008-01-04 19:16:00 Experiment time...haha..it's a good thing it worked if not hubby will probably end up spending his time at the "throne" ie; toilet. Well, as I still have the "Kentucky" flour left; this flour is actually for chicken and you are suppose to deep fry it so that it will turn out like the KFC.I made the minced pork into balls and then dipped them in beaten eggs and the flour. Then put them in the oven to bake. Also had grilled sausages, in case, the meatballs ends up in the trash. Anyway, boiled the mange tout, sugarsnap peas, leek and carrots. Then add with gravy. 2008-01-04 00:17:00 Nowadays, I like to experiment with food, I was in the mood you see. So, as hubby can't take spicy food, I make it as spicy as I can because I love spicy hot food. Oh dear, blogging about it makes me drool now...I use the Thai tom yam paste from Waitrose, Zhong Shan Laifen ( rice vermicelli), cod fish, prawns, broccoli, carrots with spring onions, garlic and bird's eye finger chillies as condiments. Just boil the vermicelli till it's soft, by the way, the vermicelli is like the Penang Assam Laksa noodles. Then boil the cod and prawns till it's cooked, add in the vegetables, the vermicelli and tom yam paste. That's it, just sprinkle the condiments..the garlic, chilli and spring onions, my special seafood tom yum is served!! Yummy..good taste like in the shop...haha..self-praised! New Year's Day
2008-01-03 23:41:00 I forgot to post about this. Nowadays, I have a lot on my mind, so I have been getting SML - Short Memory Loss....hehehe. My hubby and I had a quiet New Year's Eve in, welcoming in the New Year together and watching the countdown live, from London, on the TV. Oh yes, with wine too.. I have been drinking quite a lot these few days...must stop now...haha.Then the next day, had lunch with my MIL again. It's a tradition for her. So we had pork with apple sauce. Also had some stuffing,roast potatoes, carrots, brussel sprouts and sausagemeat with it as well. For dessert, we had apple and blueberry pie with custard. Forgot to take photo of the dessert..was busy eating..hehe. So that was our New Year spent. I do miss spending the New Year in Malaysia with family and friends! Hopefully I will one year! I first learnt about it from other fellow blogger when I blog-hopped to their blogs. I wanted to start immediately but couldn't as my blog was fairly new. I read up the rules and one of the requirements was my blog has to be 3 months old at least before I can write paid posts. I was so disappointed and was counting the days till I could get my blog approved and the day has arrived! Yippee! Breastfeeding room and baby change room.Mother and toddler/child toilet.Well, it's because the facilities in Malaysia are not good. We don't have so many different types of toilets and baby facilities there. Even if there is, it would probably be dirty.
