The One Thing We Are Always Needing..
2007-12-29 20:02:00 Cash is a very important part of every one's life. It is even worse if we are always short of cash. There are many ways of getting extra cash, take more jobs, work more hours. But if you have already done that and still in need for more emergency cash especially over the festive season, then where else can we go.My friend, Mika, is forever short of money. She is forever in need of cash advance. She shops like nobody's business. Worse still, she has to feed her son and have a mortgage to pay. Sometimes, she buys unnecessary things. Because she is a shopaholic, she is in constant need for money. So, she needs to find a payday loan. These are to help pay for her essentials till she receive her pay. Sort of an advance. She wants to find a good company that is easy to apply to and no hassle. She wants it to be like a walk in the park. So I have agreed to help her with that because I sympathize with her son. So to keep her up with her payments, I will to help her look for loan and found ... More About: Friends , Thing , Allowances
Graham's Problems
2007-12-29 19:53:00 Thanks to the inability to do his maths correctly, my friend Graham found himself under-estimating the cost of Christmas and impossibly short of money...So, Graham rings me and asks for help in finding the source for a payday loan. He is behind in paying for his mortgage and other payments. So, it's the holiday season and I was in one of my charitable moods, I obliged. After searching around, I found trustesource.org, a third party product review resource site with helpful information about getting Graham his emergency cash advance .Graham and I went through that website with some care, including reviewing the pledge for satisfaction guaranteed. After some emails and enquiries to the some of the recommended links, Graham managed to get himself sorted out with one of several payday loans. He was so happy that the website was very easy to use and informative, it helped with his problem as he is not so good with the Internet. Now that he is up to date with his bills and payment, he won... More About: Friends , Problems , Allowances

Shopping Here I Come!!
2007-12-29 00:26:00 I love shopping..as all of you know....but my hubby is very careful with the family finances. So whenever we go shopping, we would look for the best deal. Shopping online is also one of my favourite past-time. I can spend hours browsing online for the best offers!Anyway, hubby wanted to buy some new books from Amazon, using some of the ca$h he had been given for Christmas this year. However he didn't want to pay for postage. After Googling around, I came across Coupon Codes and got a discount voucher to save $25 / £12.50 off Amazon postage. Now Hubby can have his books! The coupons has also been proven useful for other savings we're planning to make for upcoming home improvements, gifts and birthday purchases and the inevitable family holiday. Yippee..more shopping!!

O' Christmas Tree...
2007-12-24 16:03:00 I am writing so many post today because I am late.. as usual.. anyway,I was driving hubby nuts when I kept singing this song...O' Christmas Tree ..for the past week..why..because we have no Christmas tree ..I changed it to "No Krismas tree..no krismas tree...oh, we don't have krismas tree...hehe.. So, on Saturday, we went to Ikea. Not to get a Christmas tree, because they didn't have any! They only have Christmas decorations for sale like 49 pence..real bargain! And also some for 99 pence! So I got some for our non-existence tree..hahaha..ended up with an armchair as well, and also a lamp and some bulbs. Had Ikea's meatballs and rice with mushroom stroganof. Nice food! But the chocolate mouse looks like shit..hehe..Then went back and assemble the stuff...still no Christmas tree! So, yesterday, I was online looking for Christmas trees on offer, then I found one from Argos! Haha..5ft, pre-lit for £29.90. Ok...so I booked it and asked hubby to collect it! So, got my christmas...
Shopping at Trafford Centre
2007-12-24 12:25:00 Last Saturday, we went to the Trafford Centre in Manchester. It was really busy. This post is late again because I have been busy..hehe.. Anyway, we had lunch at the food court..wah..so many people..look at the queue. Later on went shopping....didn't buy anything, just a winter cap for Ian and myself. However, we took photos of the decorations. Quite nice, they have a huge Christmas tree called Joseph Jinglebells..hehe. He sings every 15 minutes...Ian loves it! Then we use "the reins" on Ian for the first time. It was so crowded, so we better use it since he like to run everywhere. He doesn't mind, but everytime time we enter a shop, he will start to turn the other way and say "no". So daddy and him walk outside while mummy feast her eyes on stuff...hehe.. I don't know what the Simpsons were doing there ;PWe went there at about near to 12 noon and by the time we finish walking it was 6pm...yup..very big..so tired after that...just went home and sleep..haha... Busy..busy..
2007-12-24 01:06:00 I have been busy these few days..because I was doing everything last minute! On Friday, I was wrapping up presents. These are only half of the presents. Ian tried helping/"disturbing" with the wrapping! Look at what he was trying to do! *Slap head*...wasting my wrapping papers. After he got tired of tearing the paper, he tried stuffing the paper in his car where the petrol tank is! I wonder where he learnt that from! I hope he doesn't do that when he is older...hehe! Sunday Lunch
2007-12-24 00:43:00 We had Sunday lunch at one of the pubs, the week on my birthday. So this is actually a backdated post..hehe..I forgot about it! Getting senile nowadays! It's just a simple lunch. All of us, MIL, hubby and I, we had traditional turkey with vegetable and roast potatoes and parsnip as well. It was 3 course meal for £9.95 per person. Quite cheap. Ian had chicken strips with fries, but as usual he didn't finish his food, he was a bit sleepy I think.Starter was mushroom soup. I had the 3 course meal..hehe. MIL and hubby had the 2 course, main meal and dessert for £6.95.For dessert, MIL and I had strawberry cake or gateau and hubby had christmas pudding with custard. Overall the food was quite good, but the service was a bit slow. Other than that it was fine. More About: Family , Food , Lunch

2007-12-23 22:36:00 My parents are planning to come to the UK for a holiday in 2008. My hubby and I have decided to take them on a trip to various parts of the UK. Movie Marathon
2007-12-20 19:00:00 For the past week, I have been "hooked" on the TV and DVD. Why? It's because I am really outdated in the most recent movies. I went to the DVD shop and got these DVDs. Look at the titles and you know how backdated I am in movies. The only show that I watched when I was back in Penang was "The Golden Compass"...I know sort of like children's movie..half adult half children I would say. I went with my friend, Annie and her colleagues. We watched the first show at around 11pm..yup, that is the first showing. My friend was not really enjoying it...because she thought that it was childish, but as for me...aiya... I watch everything..haha. Okay, I digress, as I was saying, I rented out these movies. It was on offer, rent 2 get one free for £7.90 and you get to keep for a week whereas normally you only get to keep for a night or two. So, it was worth it, I had to get all..hahahaha..greedy. I watched the "Transformers" first..I have real high expectation for it as it was said to be real go... More About: Movies , Movie , Marathon
More Money For Greg??
2007-12-20 15:03:00 I was chatting with Greg , my cousin online and he asked me to recommend and help him find more online casino. As I was chatting with him, a banner pop out. It was a website which features casinos from all over in the US, UK and Europe as well. I sent him the url and told him that he can also win in Euros and Pounds as well, playing in the casinos which pays out in those currencies!! That would make him very happy! In the website it shows ratings and reviews for each online casino. It also shows the maximum payouts and bonus as well. If my cousin fancy bingo, he can also play it online and be paid in pounds! The list of games is endless, roulette, craps, poker and it goes on. So, guess what, I think Greg will be stuck at home 24/7 nowadays..thanks to me...hehe.. More About: Family , Money , Gambling
Future Savings
2007-12-20 13:39:00 In the past few months, prices of goods and services have risen very high. At this rate, interest rates are bound to go up as well. We are worried that this will affect our mortgage and also our home insurance.Besides that we have been looking for an insurance company that is tailored to our needs. We want to save money on insurance. I will try and get insurance quotes from various company. There is one company that I have looked into and it offers a lot variety, from family insurance to insurance mortgage. They even have cash back life insurance. There seems to be a very reasonable package that is suitable for us, so I will discuss it with hubby and we will get some more information on their insurance package. Something For Greg
2007-12-20 10:47:00 Christmas is just around the corner and I was thinking of sending my cousin, Greg , a Christmas present to the US. But with a few days to go, I don't think that I have enough time and it won't reach on time for Christmas as well. 'So, I have been cracking my head trying to find a great present for him..haha..knowing that he loves to play poker, I wanted to give him a suitable gift.I have been searching online and found this poker calculator. It seems like a perfect gift for him. This calculator could help him win more money by calculating the poker odds for him, simply great! Also, the website is easy to navigate and use, so knowing him, it would be no problem for him. There is even an offer in the website for this Magic holdem calculator on the website for free, just by signing up to one of the online poker rooms. So I might just give that to Greg and then email him the details, that way, his Christmas present would be on time for Christmas! Saves me the hassle! More About: Computers , Gifts , Some

My Own Online Store
More articles from this author:2007-12-13 18:38:00 I have always been interested to do my own business. Being a stay-at-home mum is great as I can watch my son grow and spend lots of time with him. However, being able to earn and help with the family finances is great too.So, I have been looking around, surveying for the best business to venture into. But I would like to be able to look after my son as well as working from home, so I think the best option would be having an online store or shop.To do that, I need to set up the website and have a shopping cart. Going through a lot of websites offering shopping cart software and ecommerce software, I have finally found one that offers the best shopping cart software. The Ashop Commerce offers well-tailored packages to suit individual needs. It is affordable and easy to set up. That sounds great for me because I would like a hassle-free software due to my time restriction. So, I think that I will try out the shopping cart software that is offered by this company.*This is a sponsored post.
