What a Journey!!
2007-10-05 11:14:00 I have been busy, Ian is sick again, this time bad cold and cough, had to use the inhaler..so this post is a bit late and mummy is in bad mood. Just what I need before I go back!Anyway, last Thursday, we went to London on the train. Just my MIL, Ian and I. The trip was to accompany my MIL to the St. Luke's Hospital for the Clergy for her minor surgery. Anyway, we took the 10:30am Virgin Pendolino train. Took Ian in his red pushchair, the Mountain Buggy and guess what! Big mistake! It couldn't fit in the train carriage...I had to stand in the gangway for nearly an hour. Ian was screaming his head off because he wanted to come off his pushchair. While I was still standing there, an ignorant lady who was sitting by the door asked me to make sure that the door was closed because Ian was disturbing her ( though she didn't say that) , I was about to ask her to f*** off. Chinese Take Away
2007-09-30 18:38:00 These few days I have been busy, just trying to sort out the house before I go back to Penang. Thanks to all your wishes for Ian, he is now well, but it is now my hubby's turn .. haha .. diarrhea .. wah ..all these things non-stop...So I ordered some Chinese take-away, too tired to cook. We had this wantan soup..so small bowl..only 3 wantans...£2.20. Then, some salt and pepper chicken wings and mixed meat and vegetables with boiled rice. The salt and pepper chicken wings is hubby's favourite, he never fails to order it every time! Anyway, Ian had this from Waitrose..fish pie; doesn't look like fish pie, it's salmon and cod..looks yummy, quite good..but he didn't finish it, as usual..picky! More About: Food

Haha..also at that age I am sooooooo cute, chubby and adorable...LOL! 2007-09-25 00:43:00 I took Ian to the doctor's this evening and after checking everything, the doctor said that it is a might be "gastric bug" that has been going on. So he should be taking liquid preferably water and should not be taking Nurofen, just Calpol. If he still has diarrhea after a week, I should collect his stool sample and send it in to the doctor's. So no medicine is prescribed. Just wait and see situation. Oh yes, before we went for the appointment, Ian puked all over in the reception room..arghhh....so I was late..20 minutes, but luckily the doctor agreed to see Ian because I called them up first. See so hard to see a doctor..very bad!! Can you imagine if you are in pain or dying and they say to wait..what would have happened??!! Even in the middle of the night ...especially in the middle of the night, if you get sick, you have to go to the Accident & Emergency at the hospital. Not only that, you will not be seen immediately, have to wait, even if you are seen, sometimes just by i... More About: Update

Mackerel
2007-09-24 12:45:00 Last night, we had mackerel fish spiced up in crushed peppercorn, served with spinach and tomatoes. All courtesy of Waitrose..hehe. Just as usual, put the mackerel in the oven for about 15-20 minutes and just lightly fry the spinach and then add the tomatoes..easy..in 20 minutes all done and ready to eat. My style of cooking is lazy style..hehe ...I only know how to eat! Oh yes, we also had dessert, chocolate cream eclairs..yummy! More About: Food

More articles from this author:2007-09-23 13:45:00 Well, Ian fell sick on Friday in the afternoon. By then, it was too late for me to book an emergency appointment to see the doctor. What to do just keep my finger cross that he doesn't get any worse for the weekend.He has fever and on the right side of his cheeks is very hot and his lips looks pretty red, so I quickly gave him Calpol and Nurofen. I think he might have earache, ear infection or sore throat...one of these, the usual. He couldn't eat, puked all over the carpet in his bedroom and I nearly vomitted myself 'coz it stank that bad...ewww..haha..I don't have the luxury of maid so this maid have to clean it up herself..took me more than 20 minutes. Some of the food got stuck in the carpet, so I have to pick them up...I clean it with Vanish, but it still reeks. So he has been on starvation mode since Friday. Only had very, very little milk and some biscuits yesterday and today. Gave him plenty of fluids/water. His fever came and went and then back again..but he seems be...
