Message For This Coming New Year
2007-12-29 15:41:00 2 More days and it's New Year ! Yahoo!Earlier this morning I was reminded that it's coming closer and closer, why? My idiotic neighbors, at a ridiculous early hour of the day, were throwing firecrackers and firing home made canons or was it guns, I'm not sure, but they call it boga around here and it's made out of pvc pipes. They are so annoying I hope the people who fire that shit realized that it's illegal and they can actually die by using it and they can also kill somebody. Please don't use it in the street. Go fire it in your room and kill yourselves there. I'm totally not against firecrackers since it's only prevalent during New Years, Fiestas or any special occasion but people do not use it in the streets especially when people are passing by 'cause you may hurt them. I remember the other day I was riding my bike and someone throw a piccolo (that's a mediocre kind of firecracker, even a 3 year old can throw it and it will explode) while a was passing by. I was shocke... More About: Message , Mess
What a Fun Night!
2007-12-27 16:12:00 Quickie Post Here!I'm just busy chatting. Talking to my friend and my cousins in Italy. I sort of tricked my cousins, they can't really speak and understand Filipino well and their knowledge of the English language is just well I'm not sure if they actually know how to speak english or understand a bit of it, so we hardly understand each other at first. Thanks to BabelFish translator my other cousin actually understood me and she thought I learned Italian..hahahahaha...I wish. And oh..I just saw Lauren's new video on youtube...she actually read my questions! Very cool! More About: Night
What Happened This Christmas
2007-12-26 15:54:00 It's the greedy little witch signing on.My Christmas was just FUN FUN FUN! The celebration started early in December 24th at the 11 pm mass which we went to and I almost slept. I was swaying but luckily I manage to stand still for the whole mass which I did not understand. It was so long and I kept reminiscing about last year's Christmas Mass where the priest gave away ridiculous amount of money by asking ridiculous questions to ridiculous Catholics who did not event know the answer.Oh Money!Money!!!! (shout shout shout!)I didn't know why I got a lot this year, when the time is more difficult. My uncle and aunt who works for the government just increased our gift money this year, I'm not sure why(no..do even think that they...). From 100 pesos it's now 300 pesos (that's a lot). They're rich anyway so thank you. And they're oh so nice I wish they'll get more good fortune next year, they certainly deserve it.Anyway, I wrote on my previous post that we're going to have a noch...
What the Holidays Mean To Me
2007-12-24 09:20:00 I always thought that holidays means MONEY MONEY MONEY to me. Well that's what I thought but that's not really what I actually get.I found a link to a holiday quiz on Ate Ivy's blog and well I just thought I may give it a try.Result:What The Holidays Mean to YouFor you, the holidays are a very spiritual time. You have as much holiday fun as everyone else - but you never forget what you're celebrating. You celebrate the holidays in a minimalist style. You are likely to only give one great present and decorate your house with a few special items.During the holidays, you feel like having fun. Tradition is not important to you... having a blast with your friends is.You think the holidays should be decadent and indulgent. You never mind gaining a few holiday pounds... it's worth it!Your best holiday memories are of childhood foods and traditions. You secretly still wish you believed in Santa Claus. What Do the Holidays Mean to You?Well I may always think about money and how many books... More About: The Holidays
Book Collecting
2007-12-23 10:09:00 I started collecting books 8 years ago and it's been a joy ever since. My personal collection so far includes some magazines and well books of course which I have not count for a long time. It's so many now that counting it will be a difficult task.I have wrote on my previous posts that I'm an obsessed book buyer. I could not stop. I just have to buy one whenever I go to the mall regardless how much money I have. I'll spend my transportation fare and buy book out of it, then walk home which is almost a kilometer at least I bought a book and I'm happy.Lately, I've been scouring eBay, booksale, and other online bookstores for books, that is cheap rare books, books from the 1800s (which I can afford) and well..Les Miserables. They were cheap, but the shipping was expensive...which will cost me a ridiculous amount of money four times or more the price of the book. Why collect this kind of books?Well first of all I was inspired by the oldest book I have that I bought in booksale whi... 12.22.07
2007-12-22 12:21:00 This is just an update of what's going on with my boring life. So if you don't like boring posts DON'T READ THIS!Earlier this morning about 2 am I finally finished reading THE SECRET LIFE OF A SCHOOLGIRL by ROSEMARY KINGSLAND. It's a memoir. I just love memoirs, well I only read one aside from this one, it's Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt. I actually discovered from that book that memoirs are one of the most interesting books to read. They were fun.The Secret Life of a Schoolgirl focuses on the authors adolescence and her affair with Richard Burton, who was a famous British actor. She was, I think, about 14 and he was 29 when they started the affair, Burton thought she was about 16 and she lied about her age...etc..etc...Well, the thing is that I'm having a hard time believing it. While reading it I actually thought that it was just some adolescent fantasy that she was having. She didn't tell anybody until God knows how many years.I can easily make up stuff like that...And ...

The Tales of Beedle the Bard
2007-12-19 17:24:00 I never really understand how big Harry Potter is. I just know that my friends liked it and they lend me the book...I read it and I loved it. I never cared who wrote it but I guess JKR is very rich now I don't care, I don't envy people like that well except of course if she owns a library as big as the Library of Congress or Folgers.Anyway, I deeply thank her for Harry Potter. It's more than just great entertainment.Five minutes ago I found out from Perez Hilton's site that her new book, THE TALES OF BEEDLE THE BARD, sold for just 1,950,000 pounds (yes just!). Well this one won't be adding to her ever growing fortune. This one will actually go to charity (whoa!). She's a witch. Gosh! That woman probably sold herself to the devil that's why her book is that successful.Just kidding! I heard that on a tv show.Anyway, for those who actually don't know anything about The Tales of Beedle the Bard that book was mentioned in HP7. Professor Dumbledore left it to Hermione Granger and ...
Ponderings I
2007-12-18 05:53:00 Say, someone asks:"Can you tell me five importantpersons in your life?"I say:"My mother, who taught me how to walk, who willingly waits for us when we come home late, who took care of us and loves us unconditionally, who prepares food for us daily, who lives with no other thought than our health and happiness... ...likewise.""My father, who helped us find schools to go to for college, who willingly fights for the dignity of his family, who takes us to school, who wakes up at 2 am to work, who makes us laugh and angry, who beats my mom when we were younger... ...it made us stronger.""My grandmother, who is always there to help us,who taught me to put raw eggs on hot rice when my sisters didn't want to eat corned beef anymore, who stayed strong even if grandpa is gone... ...we are always here for you, like you always there for us.""My sister, who gives me donuts whenever she comes home from school, who fought my fights, whose kindness is incomparable, whose company is irreplaceable, who chooses...
Quick Update
2007-12-17 14:54:00 How would you feel if your comment was changed?Never mind.Anyway, yesterday I wrote about Misa de Gallo (Rooster's Mass). I actually thought that I'm going to attend the whole 9 day morning mass straight, second day...I missed it. Why?Yesterday we went to STAR CITY (a theme park). I was so exhausted, I thought I was going to faint last night when we got home. Plus, Snow World (inside Star City) gave me a headache. For someone who is used to a 35 degree Celsius temperature and who complains when the temperature drops to a 24 degree it was terrible. I didn't even see snow there it was only ice, well it should've been called ICE WORLD instead of Snow World. There were only ice, ice shaped like the Eiffel tower etc. The place was a huge fridge and us like animal carcass put there to be preserved. Well we paid more than $2 for it so we actually had to stand the freezing temperature and I'm sure they earn a lot of money out of that thing. There were probably more than a hundred peopl... 9 Mornings. Day 1
2007-12-15 22:03:00 Just wanna make a quick post this morning. Misa de Gallo just started, I didn't expect to see so much people in our barangay chapel. My sister said that it's usually like that the first day, the following days probably won't have as much people. It was earlier than usual this year. I woke up at 3 am because of the fireworks and by quarter to 4 when we got there it was already starting and the place was pack the people have to stand outside the chapel i.e. in the street and the basketball court (there was probably about 500 people or more outside and the chapel can only accommodate 60-70 people) . Well, more explanation next time. I need to go to sleep. ^_^FYI: It was my first Misa de Gallo that I went on my free will, my mom usually pushes me to go to morning mass every Christmas (but that's later in the morning about 7 am).
That Season of the Year
2007-12-15 08:26:00 It is 10 days before Christmas, tomorrow 9 more days 'til that happy day.Yesterday, I went strolling with my little cousin in my grandmother's garden and it struck me that Christmas is really coming soon. These reminded me that it is coming soon:Apparently I can't get enough of the poinsettias. They are so pretty and the flowers only shows at this time of the year. Last year my grandmother had more poinsettias but I think she cut some of it and last year it was more red. Well there will come a time, maybe in a few weeks, that these poinsettias will be as read as ever like before, I guess. I love seeing them planted in the soil not in pots, like the ones they sell at the mall which cost a lot of money. Anyway here are other pictures that reminded me it's Christmas, simply because they are red and orangey.HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE! More About: Season , Year

Christmas Carols
2007-12-11 02:57:00 Monday, December _________."Sa may bahay ang aming bati (to the owners of this house our greeting). Merry Christmas ..." the children sang one night in the dimly lit door of our canteen."Go away, we're doing something! Come back later!" my mother shouted. They didn't come back. The next day."We wish you a Merry Christmas...we wish...," the children sang. They were cut off by my mother."Go away! We're busy! Come back tomorrow!" she shouted. They came back the next day."Sa Paskong darating!!!! (In this coming Christmas!!!)" the children shouted while banging and their homemade instruments. They didn't even sing now.My mother cut them off..."Go away now!!! You kids are driving my customers away!"I can't believe my mother won't even let them finish and sing the good part."Thank you...thank you...ang babait ninyo (you are very kind people)! Spanish 101
2007-12-10 05:04:00 Yesterday I had a post about my experience on watch Dora the Explorer musical live show. I forgot to to write there that I got totally pissed on my nephew (GOD HE WAS SO ANNOYING!!!!). I got totally stressed out...there were lots of people and that creature (my nephew) was just totally getting on my nerves. So I left my nephew to my cousin, left Robinson's Mall and went to SM City Sta. Rosa (another mall). I went immediately to BOOKSALE to buy books. I bought 3 books and one of them was ESPAñOL EN ESPAñOL, so much for getting over my Dora experience but the book was cheap so I bought it.Anyway, my Spanish is not that good. Sure I can say the greetings and recognize a couple of words but I can't converse with it (like my English!). I did take a Spanish class in college (some 2 years ago), it wasn't very good. My Spanish professor's english was not very good and our classroom was so terrible he can hardly teach, poor thing. I like him when we have our classes but when I got my r... More About: Nish
Web Meets Dora
2007-12-09 01:37:00 I went to the mall yesterday with 6 of my relatives which mostly consists of kids. We went there to see Dora the Explorer live musical show. There were too many people we didn't even see a thing..oh well except that I saw half of Dora's head and half of Boots head.I lifted my almost 2 year old niece on my shoulders so that she could see it. I think she did see it. She was exclaiming and laughing.I can't believe I forgot to take pictures of the place and the parents endangering their children's lives so that they can get a glimpse of Dora. The whole mall gone crazy. One sales guy said he'd never seen so much people in that mall. Well I've never seen so much people in the mall either. I once saw the ABOUT YOUR LOVE mall tour there and there's less people. I did saw almost all the actors in that TV show...But oh well...DORA THE EXPLORER is more famous than that show, I guess.And..and..I also saw my cousin there she brought 4 kids from her neighborhood.Anyway...Hasta Luego blog!!Su...

The Amazing Great King
2007-12-07 23:13:00 I cannot help commenting about the recent opening of the Southeast Asian games held in Thailand. I was supposed to write it Friday but a lot of things has been going on inmy mind which never appears on my blog or paper but clearly shows in my face.Anyway back to the SEA games. The whole thing was dedicated to the king of Thailand, even the logo which was shaped like a sailboat was dedicated to him (the king won a gold medal in the 60's SEA Games for sailing). The opening program was for the king of Thailand, Bhumibol Adulyadej. I don't really know anything about him before I found out about the youtube incident.Anyway, the title of the performance was THE AMAZING GREAT KING, which I find a little idolatrous. Then the performance progress it was really idolatrous. It was so weird.I can't really judge them. It's probably part of their history and culture. And the Thai Royal family did a lot for their people. Have you seen THE KING AND I?You can judge his majesty by the events that ha... More About: Great , Amazing , King
GENUINE OR NOT?
2007-12-06 06:59:00 I've been over pokemon for over 2 years now. I haven't played the GBA games for almost one and a half years. And I don't buy fake card anymore. But in one of my blog hoppings I stumble upon Than-Than's blog. Yea there were posts there that talks about pokemon. At first I didn't pay much attention about it but I thought about the cards I bought 3 years ago that really cost me a lot of money (just Php 150 for the 3 booster packs). I didn't have a lot of money back then (I actually still don't have a lot of money right now, but I have more than I had before). Anyway, reading one of Than-Than's post made me wonder if the booster packs I bought at the mall for 50 pesos was genuine. According to one of my queries to him a booster pack would cost 180 pesos, but that's now.So I searched for the cards I bought 3 years ago. I found it and unfortunately, because of my stupidity, I mixed it with the fake cards. Sigh, which one is it??Luckily I did sort it. I've also noticed the diff... More About: Genuine

What's the Big Deal?
2007-12-04 02:43:00 I don't really understand what's happening with the people I subscribed with in youtube. Two of the people I subscribed with on youtube had a reaction video about a certain 2girls1cup video. One of them was TheHill88I didn't understand it at first. What's the deal with this 2girls1cup video. And then as I scroll down I saw a lot of related video about it...I got really curious and watch TheHill88's video again and again until I finally tried to watch other people's video. They were very funny. What the heck were they watching anyway? the 2girls1cup original video which I cannot find in youtube. PEOPLE I WARN YOU DON'T GOOGLE IT.On TheHill88's description box there was a sentence there that says "find it yourself." I did find it and now as Joe said he's never gonna get his innocence back...I am too. 2007-12-03 05:38:00 You may probably think that I'm saying this because my yahoo answer account got suspended (I've wrote about this a couple of weeks ago). It's not about that. My account got suspended because of my own fault, asking for the photoshop serial key (I don't have regrets).Anyway, I've read about an article about SPAMS, about the same time I asked for the serial key. And by that time I was really pissed with my yahoo mail account. I've been getting too much mails from God knows who and most of them contains nasty things. These things go to my bulk folder but lately they've been appearing in my inbox which is really ANNOYING! I'm not so sure how they got there. I usually receive 20 or more of this things every single day in my BULK FOLDER and 5 or more in my INBOX. And if I don't open my yahoo mail in 3 days it'll be flooded by unwanted messages. What does YAHOO do about it?I don't know. But I'm begging them to control it.
