Done Reading!
2008-05-17 12:57:00 Just finished reading New Moon this afternoon. And well, I can't believe how hard it is to think of something to say for these post. No, I'm not thinking the book is not good. It's absolutely awesome and entertaining. When I was reading it I was full of emotion (melodramatic again!), I got so caught up with the story but my mind is totally blank now. It's my internet addiction...I sort of forget things when I'm in front of the PC. I'm looking at some pictures and clips now to remember...oh my Robert Pattinson is absolutely gorgeous! I can't wait to see the film.Anyway, I've heard a lot of people like Jacob Black and I have to disappoint them because I won't be joining their (little) group. Sure Jacob Black is absolutely nice in the second book but I don't think I like him at all for Bella. I still like Edward, a lot, even though he left Bella and you guys know what happened. Although in a way I wanted to hit Edward for leaving her, she loved him too much. Bella is like a dr... More About: Reading
New Moon: Reading Page 100-Something Now
2008-05-14 18:16:00 I guessed I've spoke too soon when I said I hate Bella. I read an overview on Wikipedia about her falling a little out of love with Edward, I hate her for that. I guess I was wrong. It's a sort of story that one should never judge too easily (one must remember that after reading the first boo, Twilight, there are two sequels). I'm reading page 100-something now and I sympathize poor Bella. Poor creature, she definitely doesn't deserve to be left like that. It's as if Edward doesn't love her at all! How could he leave her! I hate him! Poor Bella!I know...I know...I'm judging way too fast, but I can't help it. I'm so affected with what happened and I guess that's why I feel a little lonely today (technically yesterday, it's 12:29 am now, now 15.05.08) and I didn't feel like talking. Yea, I know...I know...that's melodramatic but I can't help it. It's always like this if a book is good, really good. I remember reading Pride and Prejudice, and I get anxious and happy whene... 2008-05-11 13:07:00 To start off, I just want to greet all the mothers in the world a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! Thank you very much, you all deserve more than what you get.HAPPY MOTHER'S DAYAnd Jaden, do you want to die?FYI: I wasn't running out of things to write on my last blog post.Anyway, yesterday I was extremely profoundly overly tempted by the novel Twilight. I was searching the net and almost every page I opened I saw the word TWILIGHT. Darn! I know I said I'm still saving up cash (coins!) to buy it but yesterday it's as if I'm craving for a cheeseburger from Mcdonald's....I bought it.I went to the mall and went straight to National Bookstore, in SM Sta. Rosa, which I swear I wouldn't go anymore after that security guard incident. Money, Nose Bleed and Info Overload
2008-05-08 02:29:00 I've been gone for a while not because I'm lazy to blog but because I'm BUSY. I'm not sure how busy I am, but I am. Like now, I only have an hour to use this PC because I have to get ready for work.9:30 am, I have to iron what I will wear today. 10:00 am, eat. 10:15 am, take a bath. Before 11 am I have to leave the house to catch the bus. 12:30 I'll arrive at the office building where I work (still on training, of course!). 2:00-10:00 pm, training. I can't really talk about the training or whatever it is that I do (it's not illegal, as far as I know). I know that's just lame but it's okay. I've been hearing a lot of bloggers getting fired from their job because they insulted or what not their boss and the company they're working for. I don't want to end up like that.Anyway, I want to talk about salary spending. Eight days ago I've experienced having my own money which I've earned with my own hands. Twilight
2008-05-04 12:56:00 A couple of years ago when everybody was still going crazy about Harry Potter (I guess people still are) and a lot of people lined up to buy the books, I was just in my room reading the classics, ignoring Harry Potter.Just kidding! Who could possibly ignore Harry Potter? I may not have bought the books but I borrowed. I begged people to lend it to me and they lent it (Thank you guys!).Unfortunately these days no one is talking about Harry Potter (I think) they are talking about Twilight . And damn it! a lot of people are talking about it. I've read a lot of young Filipino bloggers who talked about Twilight in their blogs and..well..I sorta feel left out. How come I've not read this book???Anyway, I've no friends to borrow this book (my friends, where are you guys?!). I haven't talked to my bookish friends for quite some time now and they live in the city or in a province that's really far away. I've no neighbors to borrow books, I don't even think they read, at all! They're m...

2008-05-01 02:25:00 I've been a member of a certain poetry club for Filipinos on yahoo for some days now. I've also passed one of my poem for critique over there.I DON'T OWN ME03.30.08I do not own my life.God said:"Go ahead child,See the world,Experience itAnd contribute."I was born,I didn't have much choice. When I was an infant,They gave me shit-food,I didn't like it,But, still, they forced me to eat it.I can't decide for myself,They own me.I turned 3, or was it 4?I wanted to run in the gardenBut the elders said, No!I didn't have much freedom,I wasn't suppose to decide for myself. The time came when I had to go to school. The teacher said:"No!""Do this!""Do that!""Don't say anything until I call your name."See?Total tyranny.I grew up,Studied,Followed orders,Subjected,Studied more,Graduated high school,Studied even more,Graduated college. One day, I said:"I want to cut my hair."My mama said no.She told meThat I spent a lot of time growing it,So why cut it?I wanted to cut my hair.It was too thick ...
Ignoring Machiavelli
2008-04-29 01:14:00 I was walking in an office hallway. The people didn't notice me. I walked and walked, they were too busy. I passed them.Looking straight into the way I saw a queer man who seems out of place, out of time. He looked familiar. Nicolo, I thought. He whispered: "The end justifies the means."I ignored him.I had to take a retake on an exam last night, unfortunately I did feel kind of lost that moment. I was exhausted and sleepy. Not the examiner's problem, it's mine. Before we took the exam I've noticed that some of my co-retakers were copying something. What was it? The answer to the exam, of course! The exam will be the same as the last one. Same questions, same answers. It will be open notes. I'm not sure how far the open notes go but as an education graduate (bloody course!), copying the answer (a, b, c, d!) as in the real answer...as in the correct answer is a no-no even if it's open notes.Don't you just love people? Any other other characteristic that she possess? Yes, even lazier. I've hundreds of books in my bookshelves waiting to be read. As time goes on the collection grew. As time goes on the number of books left stagnant in the shelves grew even more. They weren't read, even touched. They stood there like petrified creatures left alone in the hundred acre woods. No Pooh nor Tiger can find them. Piglet is too blind to see 'em. They blended with the woods.I've no idea how many books I've read so far this year, I'm not counting anymore. I do remember reading Jonathan Livingston Seagull and The Bluest Eye but I think the number of books I've read this year (even though it's still early to compare) cannot surpass what I've read last year...I'm simply lazy. What To Read1. 2008-04-26 14:26:00 I'm finally writing something after a couple of days of being placid in my net life. What have I been up to? You'll probably notice that I've changed my layout yet again. The old layout looks a little bit messy for me and I'm getting bored of it. Changing my layout has been sort of a hobby for me these days (^_^) . It's a bad thing. 2008-04-19 08:09:00 “But blogging, aside from Perez Hilton and the other big time bloggers (you know who you are) is for me a slacker job or a medium and pastime for lonely people to connect. Rice...Rice...Rice...
2008-04-09 07:22:00 According to the news: There's a shortage in rice production and rice reserve.According to the government: There's no shortage in rice production and rice reserve. And sometimes according to them: There's a shortage of rice around the world. And sometimes they also say: There's enough reserve of rice for everyone in the country.I've no idea which one is true. All I know is that a kilo of commercial rice is way way expensive these days (30 pesos up), maybe from lack of supply or God knows what. The government and the media suggested other foods to replace rice and they also made available the cheap NFA rice (18.25 pesos/kilo).First alternative, the cheap NFA rice. There had been many controversies about hording some NFA rice and repacking it or mixing it with commercial rice. There's also the problem of not enough supply out in the market. Since commercial rice are so expensive a lot of our people are buying this kind of rice and it's sold out after a while. My family don't real... More About: Rice
I'm A Cheat-er!
2008-04-08 16:58:00 A lot of things had been going on in my life, a lot of dreams are also being fulfilled. I've already started learning Spanish which is great. I need to have a plan though on how to really learn it, like a lesson plan on which to study first (they have it in livemocha.com and I will be using my past Spanish syllabus from my Spanish professor). It cost me almost a dollar to buy that book and what's weird is that it's a Barnes and Noble book...isn't that a big book company and shouldn't they proofread books before printing more of that? Or is it because there were a lot of errors that they decided to ship it in the Philippines, so that (at least) they would earn money?I hate hate hate typographical errors in books... And I did, together with Gone With The Wind (which I'll be watching soon).I saw the movie today and I'm going to tell you all what I think. To start with, based on my research, the film didn't do well in the box office and the critics aren't happy about it. In short, it was a disappointment. The story is about love, love of 2 people that exists in 3 periods. Hmmmmmn...I think Wiki says something about the love of both that exists for 3 time periods but I don't think so...I think it's the story of the book that Izzi wrote, I could be wrong though...but that's my interpretation.Since there were 3 periods shown in the movie I can't help thinking that the other 2 isn't real...it's imaginative and dream-like (it's the book!).The first 4 minutes of the movie was just......WHAT????!!!!
