The Smalles Piano Ever
2007-09-19 21:09:00 Japanese toymaker has unveiled what it says is the world's smallest fully functioning grand piano. It may be a toy-sized, but the instrument has a full 88 keys and sounds much like a full-sized piano.Japan's Sega Toys developed the piano, which measures 7 inches tall and almost 10 inches wide.It's extremely difficult to play by hand, since each key is only about 1/5-inch wide. The tiny piano also has an auto-playing function that can crank out tunes by Tchaikovsky and Billy Joel.One of the piano's developers said Japan's housing situation allows only a very few people to have the room for a full-sized grand piano.
