Eurovision . . . Britains Voices

Now for someone that doesnt follow sports it is my once a year time to get worked up over an event shared by millions all over Europe and slightly beyond. There are plenty of acts this year to get excited about and some, as usual, to forget, but that is the beauty of the diversity of the Eurovision Song Contest. Something for everyone to get excited about, to be moved by, to scorn and to laugh at, good bad and indifferent. I have just watched the first of two semi-finals and I enjoyed it, I had already picked five of the winners of this heat, so not too bad. I’ll have to see how well I can do in the second part. Some surprise winners and some not so. The voting changes appear to have evened the playing field. Moving the foundations while leaving the house standing
2008-03-29 10:59:00 Sometimes change is good.Take this week for example, my webhost is moving, not just to another server but to another state!Now anyone worth their salt should be able to perform such a move in an organized manor and have almost zero downtime for their customers, unfortunately that isnt my webhost :-)So the time had come to find a new one, one that would be faster, more reliable as downtime has been an issue recently, one that is more secure as hacking has been a big issue and one that had better support.Now this doesnt come without a price and I have paid that price, several times more than I was paying but I have to say I am very impressed with my new host, what they offer and how they offer it.Needless to say there is always some turbulence during a move but you should have stopped seeing the old site and started seeing this new one without any real break in service, apart from the one goof made by myself because I didnt setup the DNS entries correctly, woopsy!But in essence if you...
