An admission of guilt

I admit that I have done a few things I have regretted in my past. There are things that I have done to try to get my site ahead before I decided to take a more ethical approach. I admit that I had previously stolen content from a website that is now defunct. A website that went under the name Land of Broken Dreams. For the uninitiated, this was one of North Carolina’s first websites built in 1994 by Kent Annas. However, the site became unavailable in 2004, if my memory serves me correctly. And I thought it would be okay to steal the content from that site. Months later, an administrator at Land of Broken Dreams - Nina - called me on my actions. I immediately took down the infringing content and not a piece of Kent Annas’ intellectual property was ever seen again, until yesterday. (more…)

Yes, I hate Calgary , Alberta. Every girl I met here is evil. I’ve been stood up, abused, misused and I plan to get out of this city as soon as I get my PR card. And yes, I will try Edmonton first before considering moving to another province. Of course, I’ve heard good things about British Columbia and I am going to try to find someone there. If I am unsuccessful, I will try Ontario and other provinces. However, I must try Alberta’s other big city, Edmonton, first before leaving this province. After all, I cannot truly claim that it would be a serious “quality of life” infraction if I have not tried Alberta’s other cities. And this means that I would have to intend to settle in this province, as per the rules of the PNP. (more…)

Moo.com minicards are a great, wonderful idea. I think they are a pretty cool way to get copies of your best Flickr pics and share them with those you love/don’t know. They are cool, they are impressive and yes, they are even web 2.0. In fact, I see very little places where Moo.com minicards can’t come into play and this is why I am writing this post. I have ordered a pack of Moo.com Flickr Mini cards and they contain pics from Onegai Teacher - Episode 5. Yeah, the episode where Kei and Mizuho go on honeymoon to Okinawa. (more…)

I did not get to meet Chelsea for our date because she had a family emergency. This kind of made me a bit angry and confused, but I will explain the events that transpired in full detail. The following post may seem a bit ego-centric but PLEASE understand the circumstances behind it. On valentines day, my date did not show. But she had her reasons, as explained in the last paragraph. I haven’t checked the post about the situation involving Alberta Bible College but I know for a fact that I should have. It would have made my fight against a certain defamer more effective. A new party who calls him/herself “curious” is spreading lies on Mr. Ringmar’s blog. And I think it is giving Mr. Ringmar an incorrect impression about the facts. With the rent being raised all of apartments of Calgary, Shush has let me know that the rent is going to be hiked on my apartment. Therefore, I am strongly considering starting an advertising programme similar to the Deck at coudal.com. I am not quite sure what to call it or how to run it yet. But I do know that I do need to make more money so I can start living here in Calgary on a better wage. Plus, the advertising costs may rise if I require more money to stay in Canada (according to Citizenship and Immigration Canada). (more…)

Tomorrow is a limited service day

Tomorrow, in recognition of the holiday, it will be a limited service day. This means several different things to many people. To my bigger clients, this means no telephone service and services will start at 11am and end at 3pm for existing projects. This also means that no new projects will be started today and all clients will be notified immediately. Plus, all clients will be notified immediately so they will know what is happening to their projects. All minor clients and their projects will be frozen until full service is resumed on Thursday. Thank you for your understanding and I sincerely hope you have a wonderful day.

My high school reunion

Sometimes, I wonder if I should go to my high school reunion once it rolls around. I mean, it’s inevitable, like death, pain and taxes. High school was very much like my childhood. A painful time of confusion and doubt that I really don’t really want to recur. An example of all the hypocrisy in culture and the question “are THESE supposed to be the best times of my life?” I highly hope not, because I was not happy in high school. I heard about a new social networking website that is quite a trendsetter but it has one vital flaw. And this is something is bound to cause problems. It’s called Flip and it’s a social network geared toward teenage girls. Flip has a community policy that is covertly tucked away into the about section and using a tiny link in the footer. In fact, I’d bet you can find child molesters all throughout the site trying to hit on girls. I have registered to show you the entire registration process. And I created a little group as well.
