In every breath that I take, I every step that I make, in every gossip I pass around, in every Google search I type; I think food. I try hard to understand my new body, the one that acts so amazingly mysterious and unpredictable. Every night, I would wake up 3 or 4 times simple because my tummy was yelling fill me up, im freaking empty! Then I think of me with Afdlin Shauki’s body with boobs, and force myself back to slumberland. In my sleep id dream of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, and how I would lay on the candy grass, surrounded by my most favorite things in the world, FOOD! 2007-05-31 10:17:00 Next week my colleague has to go to Tijuana Mexico for a rework. Since I’ve been there a couple of time, he came to me for some advice regarding his trip. I considered him lucky because he will go there with another 3 members, not like me that travel alone during the first time I’ve been there. His request actually reminds me of the story of the first time I’ve visited San Diego, California & Baja Tijuana, Mexico. My first visit was on 30 May 2004 for technical meeting. First, I had to go to TV Design Dept in San Diego for introduction presentation and after that to Tijuana, Mexico for test run. It’s a really busy 1 week trip for me. My first story was when I was at Los Angeles International Airport. Once I’ve arrived in LA at Tom Bradley International Terminal ( near Terminal 3 & 4 ), I had to take a flight to San Diego at domestic terminal ( Terminal 7 ). The aeroplane was really small. The Nasty Green Thing on My Kitchen Shelf

I had been coming home late from work and got home so exhausted; I couldn’t detour my mind from thinking about what to wear tomorrow jumping into bed with my work clothes on and just doze off to sleep! Today while fixing ourselves a pitcher of cold drink, I saw a glimpse of something mysterious lurking among my groceries on the kitchen shelf. As I peered closer, I saw it was about four inches long, green in color and unmistakably ALIVE!!!!! I leaped back. Poised in my Jackie Chan karate fighting stance; I clenched my fists hard; gritted my teeth and glare at The Green Thing . My heart was pounding hard! So young it is; like an infant just beginning to grow baby teeth and like a Proton beginning to get stuck at its all four power windows. Though we seem new, Azman and I have begun blogging a long time before. The first blog entry I wrote was in a Blogspot in September 2004. I can remember vividly how we were still dating back then. I was looking forward for a new value analysis design and this test run was just to give me time and idea before I come out with a new project. It was Saturday..and normally..if I had to work on Saturday, it was going to be the most unproductive day of all times!! but unfortunately that day was different..I had a lot of things to do…siigghhh.. I arrived at Sony at 7.50am..and after that..went straight to CTV line that was located in a different plant. We planned the trip weeks in advance simply because Yani’s hometown is situated all the way up in Fraser Hill , Pahang. Fraser Hill is a famous tourist attraction for nature’s lovers. It is situated 1500meters higher than sea level and about 2 and a half hours drive from KL, which is pretty long time considering its distance of just 100km away. From the city, we took a route to Rawang and then to Kuala Kubu Baru. From then on the winding road to Fraser Hill can be pretty mean to those with weak stomach, now don’t say I didn’t warn you. Eight of us, Azman and I, Rena, Azam, Nize, Fiza, Sri and her fiancé Fairus stayed at a 3rooms apartment at SilverPark Resort. We had a blast of a super good time throughout the whole 2 days trip. The event was inaugurated by depressing Pak Dollah, Malaysia’s Prime Minister who was more interested in the durians and mangoes in the box embedded with the powerful microchip rather than the impressive rfid application itself. They call it the “Japanese speaking” meeting because it will be conducted in the language of the raw fish eating people. As someone who doesnt understand Japanese, my main problem would not only be to understand what the discussion is all about but to actually understand WHY they even bother to invite me for such a meeting??! and to make things better, sometimes they even treat me as someone really important that just HAVE to attend it! The meeting normally takes more than 3 hours…and at times it takes a whole day. For me, I just have to sit through it. It’s an obligation without any responsibility. They do not even care what I do during the meeting. University Malaya Za’ba Alumni Night 2007

This was the first time I’ve ever attended my former residential college’s alumni dinner…thanks to my ex-college mate, Ayoi for the invitation! He is currently Za’ba college supervisor & was also Diyana’s lecturer at the Computer Sc Faculty when she studied there in 2001-2004. It was a really nice dinner and what made it even better was most of the attendees were the notorious A-Top & B-Top gang!! During my stay in Za’ba college from 1994 ~ 1999, Za’ba was indisputable the best college in University Malaya and the only college that managed to win the overall title for both SUKMUM & Pertandingan Seni Pentas (PSP) – currently known as Festival Seni (Art Fest) - in the same year. I am convinced that I have totally burn off the calories from that sinful macadamia cookie crust that I consumed yesterday as the topping on my 3 scoops of heavenly hazelnut chocolate ice cream. I am very encouraged to proceed burning the ice creams fat next Friday after my weekly visit to Famous Amos. On top of the successful fat burning endeavor, at the gym today, I was also infected with the commonly found syndrome called the Nostrilbloom Syndrome (malay – Sindrom KembangHidung) which I rarely experience except during the time my mother in law said my spaghetti sauce tasted damn good (its preego she didn’t know). They are Adam and Nurin both turning 8 this year and Arash who will be 5 in October. Adam and Arash are two very naughty, adorable boys. Arash sometimes gets too obnoxious I almost cut him into pieces and bury him in the basement. When my mother went to visit my aunt at the ukm hospital , the kids got too noisy we had to leave the hospital and hang out at the nearby Mamak restaurant in Bandar Tun Razak. Everybody ordered drinks, Arash wanted a Roti Canai. It came in the nice standard steel plate with three partitions for three different kinds of gravy. We?re working on a new product design for 29? deflection yoke (DY) for CRT TV. His name is Akio Murata and he?s the only Sony DY designer left in Japan. To me, thats nothing shocking because I?m also the one and only DY Designer left in Malaysia. That leaves just the two of us designing DY for Sony in the whole world. I really believe that WWF should have come to catch and label both of us as ?rare species?. They must put us side by side with the Panda bear before it?s too late. On top of that,WWF should take care of me a lot more because I?m a lot younger than old Murata-san. He?s already 57 years old !! I hold higher chances for survival and can live longer.hahaha..
