Fishes in the toilet bowl

Hope noone is reading this while having their meals ...?? is not toilet trained yet. Sometimes, I'll be successful to get her to sit on the toilet seat or the potty to do her business. Most of the time, she does it in the diaper and run to me to tell me she did it.What I'll do is throw the err ... 'gold' in the toilet bowl and flush it away. But every time, before before I could do it, she would say. "Fish!! Fish!!' pointing to the 'gold' in the water.Ai yo! I want to faint lah! LOL

The other day, I told ?? that someone commented that I should send my Grilled Eggplant in Spoon photograph to DMBLGiT. I told him all those food pictures send looked so professionally done. I feel shy to enter. ?? said what I need is a change of serving plates and a better camera. We have had our Patra plates and bowls since we had our house and the camera, though is a low-end one, is still quite new. Only close to two years old. I thought he was joking when he said we need a change. Look what he got for me?! Bowls and plates in all kind of shapes. Not bad huh, his taste. He also bought me a digital weighing scale which I was too stingy to buy. He even asked me to go camera hunting but I didn't want to spend that money. Maybe I should sharpen my photography skills first.Wah! I take this as your encouragement and appreciation to my cooking, okay? Oh, and your approval to me taking food blogging as a hobby too. Thank you!

?? has been holding on the railings or the wall to get down the stairs for a very long time. I have encourage her to try getting down without any help but she refuse. Today, she got a piece of cake from Mrs Seah, the Administrator in ??'s school. With her hands full (she was holding a bag with the other), she had no choice but to get down the stair without holding the railing. Guess what? She did it! No problems at all! I could tell she was very pleased with herself too! Well done, Sweetie!

This is an overdue tag from BabyFiona. These are the stuff I constantly complain about ...Why do people rush to use the wide gate (in the MRT) when they can use the normal gate. That's meant for those who need, like those on wheel chair, carry luggage and those like me with a kid and a pram. Oh, or maybe you can't get through the normal gate with your size? *stick out tongue*Stand on the left-side people!!! That's your non-writing hand, unless your are right handed.Why do people rush to take the lift when they can use the escalator (in the MRT stations and Shopping Centers), leaving those who really need it waiting. Hey, I'm not asking you to take the stairs leh.People, move away after you get off the escalator lah. Don't just stand there. And if I crash on to you with my pram, (people are hogging the lift remember?), don't stared at me. I got no other way to go. And lastly, I want to get out of the train. I'm not sure if you noticed the cartoon I used on my MyBloglog.com, Technorati and some food sites. There is a reason why I used that. Well, some sort of reason lah. I think I look like it lor. *thick skin* hehehe ...The story was someone send ?? some cartoons quite some time back and ?? said I look a lot like one of those cartoons and send me a copy. Hmm ... there is really some similarity, especially the mole below the left eye! LOL But of course the cartoon is a lot more prettier and cuter lah! I have used that as my avatar since then. The hot was scorching hot so I squeezed ?? with ?? in the pram and I pushed them back home from school. Poor me walking under the sun, hot and sweaty! Throughout the 10-15 minutes journey, the girl was chatting away with her brother and I don't understand a single thing she was saying. All baby talk! The funny thing was there were laughter! Both of them laughing over something that I doubt ?? understands too. ?? told me this when we reached home, "You don't understand what ?? is talking hor? I don't understand also. But she is very funny leh." LOL Now who is funny!* The little chatterbox still 'talking' when we reach home. * * Hmm ... you understand? Like this and like that lor *

I love shopping aka spending money

?? went to Chinatown today as part of the holiday programme. Parents were told by the school to give their child $2 - $4 for them to buy things. So, I prepared $4 of 50c coins for him. My boy is going shopping! Hahaha ...?? bought 2 items. He bought that thingy, is it called a phone tinklet? He said he like that best. It's a shape of a bag and he paid $1 for it. That's two 50c, he said. Hmm... Very good! And the teachers bought them to a shop selling famous Egg tarts. (Hmm ... more like shopping for teachers leh.) He bought one too. He said it was $2. (It's actually $1.80 because I saw a 20c in the coin pouch. hehe.) Looks like he enjoyed shopping!His teacher told me, she asked him to eat the egg tart he bought but he said it's meant for me. Wahhh! So sweet! I'm so touched! Sayang you!After note:I just checked the coin pouch and realised there were $2.20 left. So the egg tart can't be $1.80 but 80c. Today's holiday program is about Tang's Poem ?? and Chinese calligraphy ??. ?? showed me what he wrote. Not bad for first timer. At least I knew what he wrote at one look. It's words from the ?? - ??.I remembered he learned this last year in school. Of course he can't remember how to recite when I asked him BUT I had a video of him reciting the poem. I send ?? for a week's Chinese Holiday Program. In fact I actually wanted him to go for the Outdoor Activity Program. I think he will enjoy that better but he himself decided to attend this Chinese Program instead. I bet he regretted it. *snigger* Why? Because he doesn't understand what the teacher is talking about. He kept telling me "???" when I asked him what he did in school. The funniest part was he told me, "All Chinese! Why no English? ???? what the teacher is talking about!" LOL Poor guy!Anyway, he did enjoyed his session today. They get to do ??. He told me they did a dough, took some and roll it into a ball then flatten it; that's the skin. Wah! Okay ... (must have guess his way out of it! LOL) Now he wants to help me next time I do it since he knew how to do it. Hmm ... err .... have a look at what he did ...* Did he do these? I have a Litt le Craft Box. No, I'm not talking not about my blog, The Little Craft Box. But this is how I got the name for the blog though. Anyway, my little craft box is a box where I keep the stuff I'm going to use for a craft project. Sometimes I call it a current craft project box because I do have a few other craft boxes which I keep my sewing nic-naks.I think ?? is going to grumble again when he see me taking out this box. ?????????Too free nothing to do is it? *bleh* I had a idea to do a bag with the apple theme and started sewing. Royal Slippers for my Royal Highness

Few days back I bought the kids to a shoe shop with the idea of getting them a pair of scandals. My Queen refused to try on scandals and insisted on slippers!!!Of course she had problems wearing slippers and they kept dropping out as she walks. Yet, she insisted on NOT getting scandals BUT slippers. And she held on to a pair of slippers and refused to let go. Sigh! Bo bian lah. Who knows, my King too wanted slippers instead of scandals too. Ai yo! This means I would have to spend more money again to get them scandals next time.Since my Royal Highness has problem walking in her royal slippers, I added my personal touch to it. Can you tell it? Hint: You don't see this on normal slippers ... ;)

Fruit of my labour

This is a part of my Fortune Plant ??? which I bought 3 years ago. It was then a shortie plant with only a few stalks of leaves. I have re-pot it once and separate it into 2 pots. I'm planning to re-pot it again since they are getting too big and tall for the tiny pots.Recently I notice a funny looking thing growing out of the soil. It didn't look like the rest of the new stalks when they grew. This is a bit twisted. A bit wavy. I just ignore it and did my usual watering.Today, the leaf of that twisted stalk unfolded and voila! It's not a new stalk after all. I think it could be a flower or a flower bud!! No one I know who has this plant has seen it's flower before so I couldn't get a confirmation. My friend did tell me this plant does flower about every decade. WOW! Then I'm lucky!! I not only have 1 bud but 2!! There's another smaller one below this big one. If this is a bud then hopefully I get to capture its flowers!!Anyone knows stuff on this plant? Fill me in!!* A fruit...

Got tagged by Jacelyn, immomsdaughter and Kelly on this tag.Hmmm .... Both my kid's name were 'calculated' based on their 8 Characters and a list of names combinations were given to use to choose. The names chossen were not my choice. Sigh! Long story. I won't and can't talk about it here. But I can do this tag based on their English name lah. At least that is 80% decided by me.I always hope my 1st child will be a girl so I have only thought of girl's name. It will be a name starting with 'L', following my inital. In fact, I had decided on the name Lauren. But my 1st child is a boy leh! I had a really hard time thinking of a name for ?? because I wanted his name to start with 'W', my hubby's inital. Not much choice isn't it. I later decided on the name Warren. It meant a defender, warrior. I do hope he will be brave and strong. However, I did sort of regret giving him that name. Shooi and LZ Mommy wanted to know what I like to eat. Not that I need to take soooo long to think. My blogger has been down for almost a week so I couldn't post.So what do I like to eat? Hmmm ... Too many liao! I like Chinese Food . There is so much to choose from, I'm spoilt for choices. But it's Japanese food I love. It my all time favourite. I love Sushi! I love Sashimi! Sigh! If anyone have noticed, I have not had any postings to any of my 3 blogs since Monday. That was because my blogger was down. I realised on Sunday when I tried to do some adjustments to the layout of my blogs. I can't create new post! That means ... no blogging!Asking help from blogger helpdesk was no good. Why? In the first place, it's darn difficult to find the link to send them the problem and secondly they NEVER reply. I later found my way to blogger forum and posted my problem there and guess what? A Blogger staff actually replied. So they ARE alive! BUT the reply I got from him was, it's my PC problem, blah, blah, blah. Haiz! I certainly don't think it's my PC problem because I realised that are many others with the same problems I have.Anyway, I stumbled on a neat trick a user suggested and voila! I can blog again!
