Last week, we went to buy sunglasses for ?? which was required for his school holiday programme. I know ?? will fight for it if we only get one, so we bought another pair which is lightly tinted for her.Now she brings that in the sunglass pouch everywhere she goes, even to bed! If she puts it on, she will check it out in the mirror. *faint* One big vain-pot! And ?? don't even own one!

At the dinner table today ...??: Hmmm .... ??, I like today's soup but it's a bit too spicy. Why? You put too much pepper? Hmm ... I'm giving you 60 points for it. This (fried) rice is very nice. I'm giving 90 points. I like the fish balls a lot. This one is 100 points.??: Huh? Hmm ... Oh! Okay. I will take note. Thank you. *???*??: Hmmm ... good. *and he carried on to finish his dinner with the help of water. - The soup is indeed too spicy :P*Conclusion: Don't cook. Buy fish balls. That gets you full marks. :P

I just gave ?? a birthday 'party' in school with a cake and goody bags for his classmates PLUS lunch at Ajisen all using my money earned from Google Adsense, I received early March. That was my birthday present for him; as per his request. :PLuckily, my ad earnings was not too bad (for a SAHM) *wink wink*. I still have money from my Nuffnang earnings, which I received in March too. I'm planning to use that to get a gift for ?? for her birthday which is end of April. *smile*2 cheques received, 1 left. I remembered Mr Lim said ...Our terms of payment are 30-45 days from the end of the month where you cashed out. So your payment is not delayed, it is not due yet and should arrive to you before the middle of March. So it will be in time to buy your kids birthday presents :) But please don't click on your own ads in future yeah.Okay, let's do mental calculations here ... I requested for payment on 4 Jan, so 28 days in February plus 31 days in March minus 13 day of Sundays and holid...

Sometimes it's good to have two children. When one of them makes you so mad that you want question yourself if you made the right decision to have kids, the other tells you, yes, your decision was the right one (hopefully) .Sigh! I didn't wish to go further as to what had happened. It sadden me to think the years I spend at home to care for the family, results to this.As a consolation, I found ?? in her room reading the storybooks she enjoys as a baby. I have to cajole her before she would let me video her reading.These were the only 5 storybooks she would want me to read before The Weather came. They are 'read and play' books with pull tabs and pop-ups and with big colourful pictures. I didn't expect her to be reading these books. More playing and to build her interest in reading. I thought there were too many words in a page for her but she could with some help and even says a little things on the picture for that page.This turned the frown I had on my face to a smile.

I was filling the kid's water bottle for school today and when I returned to ??'s room, I was surprised that she had changed to her school uniform on her own! I could see that she was very pleased with herself too. She kept telling me, "??. I change school XXXX!" (she couldn't pronounce uniform).But she wore her panties the wrong way. *giggle* Well, that's because ??'s underwear has the picture on the front but hers is suppose to be on the back. *laughs* She is confused, lah. Whatever it is, I'm very proud she could do it all on her own without any help and that's including putting on socks and shoes too!

Quite some time back, I mentioned that a certain craft magazine has approached me to contribute to their magazine.Well, the magazine is finally out and they were so kind to send me a few copies. They even have a site where you can have a look at the magazine in varies format.Those who like crafts will find this magazine very interesting. I did. I didn't know there's sliver clay which will turn to pure 999 sliver after 10 minutes in the kiln and fire. InterestingOh, my kids craft is featured as mentioned. Look out for my contribution in their Kid's Workshop section. I can be found in their friend's page too. *wink*Watch out from issue 2. I'll be there ... again. *wink*

Ah! I received my cheque of S$150+ from Google yesterday. It's a bad time to encash now as the US rate is so low. But it's better than nothing.Now, where are my cheques from Advertlets and Nuffnang, which I have requested on 4 January?! Do you guys have to taken so long to pay up? *sigh* Checking if I cheated by clicking on the ads, are you? Honestly, yeah I did click on a couple of ads. That's because I'm interested to find out about the ads mah. Not that I deliberately click constantly to cheat what.Oh well. Just remember to pay up, hopefully before end March so it will be in time for me to buy the kid's birthdays' presents.Luckily, I don't depend on these monies otherwise I would have starved to death.

?? bought an ?? yesterday. We had planned to learn that instrument years ago before we got married but found the instrument expensive (was close to $100 then) and the school location was rather inconvenient for us.We had the instrument now but no teacher. What we know now is to play Do Re Mi Fa So La Si Do. That's it. *laughs* Maybe I could get my guitar notes to trying out. For the moment, we have to practice is will enough not to sound like a broken record player. *my poor neighbours*The kids seems really interested and wanted to try each time we practice. ?? seems quite good at it.

I tried to go to my blog just a while ago and I was redirected to another site with the words "Advertlets.com ... find something interesting" on the top left corner. Huh? Clicked my other blogs and the same thing happened. What's this?!I clicked on the link to see if I will indeed find something interesting. Sure I did! The domain name has expired! My God! How can this happened?! How could THEY have let it happened? This is so very interesting. *shakes head* So this is how you operate a business. *sighs*I doubt they have wind-up. They better not because I just requested for payment yesterday. Remember to pay my S$100 huh. Can buy 3 cans of milk powder you know. Rooms for everyone

What have I been busy with? Other than my birthday and the celebrations, I have been busy doing spring cleaning for the new year. Chinese New Year is close to 1 month away only!I packed some toys and clothes that the kids had out grown in for a friend's sister. Then I cleaned, scrubbed and washed 2 bedrooms.The next day I moved furnitures from ??'s room to the playroom and ??'s stuff to ??'s room. Redecorated both rooms. Fixed up new furnitures and fixings we bought from Ikea. *pant*Yup, I alone did all that in two days! ??'s red sport car bed was super heavy, I think my arm muscle grew just moving that alone! I think I can be handymum if I decided to give up wokking. *stick out tongue*Everyone is happy to have their own room now. The master bedroom looks soooo spacious now. Oh yes, ?? sleeps alone now in her own room since New Year! I'm not quite done with spring cleaning yet. Still have lots of walls to scrub. Anyone interested to help? I can always get an extra set of rubb...

This is yet another back dated post ...?? is so jealous because after I received a Christmas card from June, I received cards from San on 26 Dec , then from Eva, KF and Sun the following day! He asked why is it that I can get greeting cards whilst staying home and he got nothing. *giggle* Next time, I send you one lah. Don't complain. I had been extremely busy lately that I can hardly find time to blog. There were so many stuff I wanted to put down in my blog. The lady (as seen above) behind the Sharp family Fair gave me invites for the event. The lady in question is my younger sis. *wink* Yeah, she was put in charge of this event and it was hell for her but that's another story.To my sis, it doesn't matter, take it in your stride. I would never dare to dream for this gadget. It's way too expensive.It's an interesting oven. It's like a steamer cum conventional oven. So it can steam, grill, roast, bake defrost and reheat. Beading a new watch

?? bought me a Pop Swatch when I was pregnant with ??. I was crazy about crystal then and bought a bag of Onyx and Quartz too to go with the watch.I beaded a elastic crystal band for the watch. I like how it looked like a bracelet when the watch is turned inwards (that's where all the scratches come from) and whenever I get bored with the design, I re-bead again. *wink*This is the latest design I did recently. I'm not sure if I'll do it again (soon) because it's tiring to think and plan a design. And it's worst when 'someone' keep nagging at you to not to waste time. *stick out tongue*In the meantime, this is here to stay.

Home-made Christmas Gift

Sometime back, I gave some home-made cookies to an ex-colleague who is also a SAHM. I gave her the recipe too and she tried making it. Somehow she didn't quite get it right and I promised her I bake her some more near Christmas .Since I had more time yesterday, I baked last night. One canister for her, another for another mummy friend who is forever buying clothes for ?? and a couple more for ?? to bring the office.My friend will be asking for the recipe again as I did some changes to the original recipe and it's now extra crunchy. *giggle*Hopefully, I can find time today to make fruit tarts for ??'s colleague to thank him for chauffeuring ?? around everyday.See, this is what penniless SAHM gives as Christmas presents.

Cruise-Coach trip to Genting Highlands Part 2

I expected a fun full day on the third day of our trip but it was quite the opposite. We were at the outdoor theme park for a few hours. The kids took less than 5 rides, had a bite and returned back to the room. In the late afternoon, it was more just looking at the rides only (poor kids), more walking (aimlessly) around, more eating and again back to the room. Sigh!I didn't enjoy it at all I wonder how the kids would? With all the rides just before their eyes and they weren't allow to ride. Anyway on the last day of our so-call holiday, it was again, eat and go back to 'rest'. Since, everyone was either at the casino or sleeping in the room, I alone bought the kids out. I bought some hair accessories for ?? and ?? ate all the candies he wanted while ?? gobbled up a chicken sausage. Although it was for a short 40 minutes or so, I enjoyed myself. I'm back! And it feels so good to be back.As what I have expected, I didn't quite enjoy the trip for various reasons. My only consolation was that the kids did enjoy this trip. They had more fun in the Childcare Center on the cruise.I won't be blogging about the trip. We will be going on a cruise-coach trip to Genting Highlands (tomorrow), the kids and my PIL included.Don't ask me if I'm excited. I do wish to get away from Singapore for a while but I'm not excited at all. I hope I will enjoy myself there. At least I hope the kids will (I think they will) and then I'll be happy too.Some may be puzzled on my lack of post here. Well, I don't really have to mood to blog here because for the past weeks, it had been all about the trip arrangement, blah, blah, blah.Not excited = no mood to blog about it + some misc. happenings that I can't blog about. *bleh* Or maybe you should read the equation the other way round.
