BETA model - EXAGE rear preview.

Here is a rear close up view of "EXAGE" models that i just completed minutes ago. Its in beta stage so this is not a finalized appearance as i'm currently enhancing some details this weekend. Hopefully i should finish it up soon by this Sunday as a complete model before compile into functional model

UV mapping done, now to the next stage?detailing and patching.

Here we got a pretty uneven UV patched texture with some borderlines of different color shading. First need some paint skills to make the color gap even, then later I will add extra details like door lines, grooves, body rivets, grilling, object shadows and some necessary details to make the models looks real and authentic.

UV Mapping & texture templating

I've just done creating texture templates for wrapping the models meshes. Now comes to UV mapping process to map all unmapped 3d meshes. I used non-linear UV mapped which is most effective way to minimized the used of texture on the templates and increase the use of detailed texture per-pixel. Non-linear is an advantage but will be disadvantage for some game simulator or some game which enables linear mapping for custom ingame texture painting. As for me what the heck i just do what i'm capble of. Beside you can simply re-edit/repaint manually the texture either in TGA, DDS, TIF or any supported format for models under respective game port.

This is awesome! Again thanks to Chaz he did great work porting and converting my models into Trackmania game. And he also have great intro posing shots which looks like a scene from advance graphical comic book rendering! i love it. Nowadays i don't trust any food cooked from restaurant, cafe or what so ever unseen behind the kitchen. Recently i went to the hospital where my sister work and i notice there's more and more people hit by cancer, breast cancer, ulser, cronic stomach and intenstine diseases and worse got this picture of your guts came out from anus....eewww.. I can't stand how such people at the hospital could handle such gross stuff. Looking at the background of the patient mostly they actively having meal outside. Not only that sometimes even the packed food or premade from factory have such illegal stuff to make the food taste good. There a businessman mentioned to me when it comes to thumb rules making profit in food business. "Money matters, make tasty food let customer be happy.. at the end of the day no ones really cares what happens at the end because it not my problem..money man, money". NVIDIA pumping raw power!! heavy rendering and texturing in progress.

Once again i need help from another additional monitor to handle "spanning rendering" which works as to handle left side horizontal body work for this car since the body is horizontally long required for high resolution texturing and detailing works on 3d modeler and photopaint. Right now you're looking on 3rd layer texturing where it comes out chrome effect, shiny and looks very silverish bling bling...which make my texture works easier to determine which surface contour need to be edit. At the same time i better watch out for any vertices/face brakage which spoils the surface smoothness. Basicly all my model creation will born with grey/silver color on its body which is easier for later texture editing and decaling works. Note that when reaching this part of the process i need to use extremely quality and high performance graphic cards to create quality and smooth models texture output. Also extensive use or RAM memory required to pump up and swap max multiple layer of 204...

How unlucky i am, one of my radio control FET chipset got toasted after successfully rev at around 60KM/H with fully charged batteries, smoked smell like rotten egg. Looks like i need to find a spare FET IRF7389. Anyone have a spare FET to donate please drop me an e-mail. Thanks.

Adventure ride into MIRI rural country side.

Its muddy sunday today as i went along for an adventure ride into rural district of oil palm plantation area which consist of hilly hills, so we go up and down and visit some locals who live away from urban civilization. We start riding at 3.30pm and finished at 7.00pm. The road are pretty wet and muddy but its easy since its just some non-technical trails unlike the jungle where we previously hit the dust. Above are some picture taken on our last evening ride. "Picture worth more than words". I've enjoyed my self today as i've pushed my body to the max going up the some killer hill.

Previous test drive on MAXXIMUS, torque test.

Here the last video taken during test drive a day after finish compiling it for 4x4 evo2 off-road simulation. Tough built and looks like Hummer. Actually rivalry truck for steep competition over the top. Hopefully this new 4x4 design could last longer than my previous creation because this is the only design i could put closer to real life scale.

Just like any day today i get back to my bike and cycle all the way to the office, it was fun way tio enjoy the jorney without having a roof or boxes around you on crowded road. My plan is to ride up to Canada Hills higher above city level this evening after work to take beautiful photo of sunset behind the sea from above view. Not for long....Being on bike is fun except today when i'm just about to cycle my way home i felt a bit mushy on the rear wheels. Pssssttt!!!....tire puncture! No problem can fix it in a jiffy, ilucky as usually i have spare tube and mini pump with me. 5 minutes later its all fix and ready to jump in for home. Just i was about to cycle within 10 meters the rear getting soft again...oh no, no my spare too! I quickly cycle back to the office before the air run out knowing something was really bad about the tyre or some small splinter still stuck in puncturing the new tubes. Lucky there was someone in the office, a friend of my staying back late for work...

Another unlucky day with my KYOSHO MINI-Z and my PSP. I hit the brake but skid and hit my PSP, lucky the camera attached on PSP not damaged, jus some scratches at the back of PSP disc deck and battery.

With all those fake food from eating outside early in the morning its better to cook my own which save me money and keep me away from artificial food hazard. Unlike last sunday today menu will be eggs and sausage. Cooked with spicy Thai chilli sauce and black pepper powder all dipped into oil. Tonnes of fat and energy enough to propel me for afternoon outdoor activity.I save $10 today.

Alright you've seen previous stage of 3d models surface normalization process, to day i'm going to continue apply basic color painting onto the models. As always 3 color choices apply to various section of the body surfaces. The color are:-Silver/grey: for main body-Dark grey, 90% black: for lines and hollow vents/groove lines-Drak grey, 50% black: for windows/glasses.Its looks simple but later on we need to add render to create texture contour. Time for me to hands on photopaint work.

Was happy because today is a perfect day for outdoor biking after office hours, pull out my bike and roam endlessly around the city and up into highest peak to get a cool view up there. The sky looks fabulous! aromatic color and the windy cloud jet effect create stunning trails of clouds up in the sky backed with beautiful sunset beyond the horizon.

With a heart of an artist inherited from my mother i have tendency to roam outdoors into open space look up into the sky, watching the tree wave along breezy wind, the white clouds againt beautiful blue sky and beautiful sunset. I'm so lucky to realised that the world around me so beautiful even despite the fact people complain its hell on earth..that's for short due to commercialization and social barrier that inflicted blind mind in peoples thoughts. Hey, call me hippie cuz i'm free!Being outdoor is fun and feel very much alive rather than confined inside the building. Its the best way from me to collect ideas and inspiration especially when i try to come up with a new 3d design or graphic project. Here the most interesting true fact that we shouldn't ignore and atleast its accuracy is 99% very true and very discriminating fact.I was flipping my friends family album looking at their grand father, grand mother, father mother, papa, mama boy and girl from the same family generation. My friend was handsome indeed. Lots of girl like him a lot. But when i look at his daddy from the young age to his 50's he looks much more deteriorated....become so unhandsome...same apply to other...opppss sorry i couldn't help it. Much infact he is bald, plus physically less muscular and his previous generation also bald and very similar facial deterioration in contract and constantly inherit looks from great great grand papa and grand mama. Part1: GT car test drive - country side.

We just had test tuning and racing. I'm test out some tuned X3-SIXTY car againts NEMIXIS. At the same time i test out how my X3-SIXTY perform against its big brother NEMIXIS as i'm going to transfer some tuned *.TRK performance file into upcoming "EXAGE" models which currently in progress building. The results it turn out that short body configuration wouldn't fit on EXAGE because it spins a lot instead should adopt NEMIXIS long body configuration. I hope i could finish building EXAGE models before end of this month or at best before mid month.

Life can be so hard sometimes, when you try to earn something through hard work, effort and sweats suddenly a theif just jump behind you and grab stash of hard earn bread that was meant for your family meal. You work hard and you earn it. But there are times someone out there trying the get more from you without any respect or disregards ones effort or hardship he or she has been through making something to earn something. Look what i found inside my old dusty treasure chest, lol. Its monster 1/28 chassis with empty slots for RX, servo and motors. I might plan to put unused KYOSHO RX board, servo and TAMIYA Atomic tuned motor on this monster powered by NANDA 1000mAh 6V battery soon for Saturday off-road hi-rev. Since i didn't have any suitable body shell i'm going to use XMODS's. My friend invited me for rock crawling but i'm going to do so high jumping big air time. Hope the chassis could handle 20 meter drop.

Highly addictive to mini's and irresistable bargain from local r/c shop i manage to grab the first generation X-MOD and the best part is that i only have to pay less than half the price. Awesome bargain! XMODS whose previous distributor was Radio Shack and manufactured by HPI Racing made this 1/28 complex beauty which meant rival to KYOSHO MINI-Z but XMODS left too far due away from professional R/C status to its "TOY" level quality and not close to real R/C racing performance. But hence its chassis built was interesting enough to catch attention to avarage mini-z collector. It has very complex built with independent wishbone suspension, soft dampers, 4WD, servos, sealed differential, interesting driveshafts and moddable body kits, I also came in a carrying case stuffed with tools and useful parts for tweaking on the fly. There are times life can be bored at the workplace especially, 80% of our life spent most working out butt for employer. Time really harsh but if you know how to enjoy working in the office your life could be almost lively, its life being at home. As for me time always by my side. Working hours = work, lunch time/ break time -play/entertainment. Seriously stress can kill you. As always i bring my toys to my workplace and play behind the parking lot and make use of the breaktme with usefull activity.

I've met Ian today for him to handover my purchase on mini-z collection. I finally got special NSX KYOSHO 1st generation chasis (MR01s) with hop up handling parts and performance wheelsets. Plus some additional accessories to feed my IWAVER MR02 worn out parts. Today i brought out three R/C to the local carpark for test drive at 5pm and finish at 8pm. NRX-18 NANDA doesn't satisfied my fun as the battery drain very fast in less than 15 minutes. However two mini-z manage to keep the fun for more than 30 minutes and didn't get over heated over ESC parts after long endurance sprint. Besides smaller car took more public head turns than bigger brother. I have great time today. so happy that i almost forgot some client project and finish up my 3d model work which i have to settle this week. Ok time to catch up some side income stuff, lol :D

Yes! Its fixed!! ready to run!

Thanks to Mr Foo the NRX-18 is fixed, ESC board cleaned,servo mechanism replaced with new ones (added cost) plus place permanent screw to the servo hub to avoid slippage. He manage to fine tune the speed and now it runs super fast! and feels like new. Hopefully tomorrow i'll bring out mini-z and NRX-18 for field action.

Unlucky day!

Saturday is the most unlucky day for me this month, hopefully only today because what i purchase yesterday gone flunky today. A costly flunk. Without any warranty my newly bought R/C car went hay wire and with broken servo after simple drive around the cargo compund behind the office, hit by water and impact?..i doubt so but can't help just let it be...arrrrr!!. Gladly the electronics didn't fried but the servo broken and costly repair. I just got profit building models but now it just suck up and drain my pocket one more time.. I hope this will be last after i get quick charger adapter and Lipo battery and its over for that hobby. Right now the car sent over to the shop for repair while i'm going outdoor mountain biking through local trails while waiting for him to finish up the maintenance. Later tonight went for a visit again.

Finally i manage to get my hands on special 1/18 R/C models designed by Mr. HIROSAKA manufactured by NANDA Racing (www.nandaracing.com). After i finish several 3d design project last week i manage to receive payment from the client, small portion of the profit used to purchase my favorite R/C car from local store at FOO Brothers R/C shop. Low slung chassis, 4wd transmission, durable high impact main frame,fast and much better than my mini-z. This month i wanted to try out several test and play around before further purchasing accessories and hop-up. Hopefully this one can mount the fun during my boring times. Hoping to tune it max above 100km/h with Lipo battery and hot motors.Anyways despite having fun i need to devided my time for special project given by customer. Looks like more fund coming in! Yeah time to top up my hobby!
