Love conquers all. Or so they say. Love goes beyond all boundaries and for love you leave your family and friends. For love you sacrifice everything even your own life.How true is this sentiment? Stop Being So Overly Sensitive

Sometimes overly sensitive people bugged me. Sometimes overly sensitive people irritates the hell out of me. Sometimes overly sensitive people irks me so much, I just want to give them one tight slap and say.. not everything is about you!People need to realize that I need to speak my mind and yes, gossip about other people too sometimes and if it somehow relates to you then it's nothing personal. You are just there at the wrong time and place.For example, if I say X is so pretty but so sad she got bad BO, and you happened to have bad BO too, please don't take it personally, coz I'm not talking about you and for heavens sake, do something about it if you do have bad BO! And if I say, I really need to get a new handphone coz mine is zongint out on me, I'm not talking about YOUR phone that you are tying together with a rubber band, I'm talking about mine!For heaven's sake don't make everything about YOU! I'm sure many of us have faced this situation on least one occasion. Be it our choice or the other party, breaking up is never easy. At times, we are just afraid of being alone that we would rather stay in a disastrous relationship and suffer silently.My first breakup was torture. I was no longer in love with the guy but he insisted that he still loved me and was committed to making the relationship work. I was miserable and I was making him miserable. What I Have Learnt...

Past relationship shaped the way I am today. What I have gone through before, greater determine how present and future relationship are formed. For instance in a love relationship, I know that just because someone loves me is not enough to start one. The feelings must be mutual. Sometimes I get carried away with all the wooing that I "trick" myself into thinking that I love that person as well. It's not fair to him and it is definitely stupid of me coz I know that relationship won't last, as I need to give as much as I take and I won't be able to give 100% of myself if I don't love that person.Past relationship also taught me that I can't be with someone too possessive or too jealous. I am, by nature, a lovable person. I love people. I love my human interaction. I love events, parties, get-together and meeting new people. While going through my personal boxes today, I found certain items from school that really brought back fond school memories. I found my Courtesy Badge that I received as one of the Courteous Student in our Courtesy Campaign back when I was in primary three. Can you believe I had to wear that for one month! lolz!! I also found my secondary school and junior college badges. Courtesy Badge, secondary and jc badges,jc tie pin and librarian badgeIsn't it cool? I found this tip somewhere on the internet and thought I'd share it with you.How to resolve argument with your spouse quickly...A Preacher told us that when a couple is arguing they should just strip down and argue in the nude. It helps them to remember why they are together and after the arguing is over, it will give them something to talk about later. I was cleaning out my hard drive today making space for the massive downloads I am anticipating when I saw this photo. This was taken of me during a night out on one Secretary Week nite. There was a show call Hunk-A-Mania at one of the local clubs and these guys were doing a "tame" stripped performance. Suffice to say, it was a night I would NEVER forget...;)Anyway, after the show we were given an opportunity to take pictures with the guys and so this was it.. I actually wanted to sit on the lap of the guy on the right (aiyoo so cutey I tell you!!).. but the queue behind me was so long that no lap-swapping was allowed! I used to be so hot-tempered. I remembered being young and being so insolent towards to my parents. I was overly sensitive. I would sulk for days if I don't get my way and I would even skip meals just to show how angry or upset I was over a situation. Banging bedroom doors was a normal entry in my journal.It was not that I had an unhappy childhood. It was not because I had absentee parents. It was just because I was so hot-tempered and was not able to control my emotions. I remember wishing I was dead every time something did not go my way.Yes I was a hot-tempered one..As I grew older, I grew wiser and I matured to become a not so hot-tempered lady. This might sounds like a strange question but I was watching a back episode of Bold and Beautiful today on the telly (hahehehe.. don't sneer people, I happened to enjoy the show) and one of the character, Taylor, who was having problem getting pregnant with husband Nick decided to get impregnated with an anonymous donor's eggs.It so happened she was accidentally impregnated with Brooke's eggs. Now Brooke happened to be Nick ex-wife (who is still in love with Nick and vice versa) and her sworn enemy. Anyway after the birth everyone later found out the truth and as expected Brooke developed this connection with the baby coz "I'm the biological mother".The episode that I was watching today happened to be the one where Taylor had prematurely gone into labour and the baby was in distress. Azwaj can't stand it when I leave him for too long to go back to Singapore, even if it is to visit my mom. Sometimes I have to "bargain" just so I get a longer stay. However, I must admit I like that fact that he would miss me so much that even one week seems like a long time for him.There are, however, a few of his friends that actually think that he enjoys the time when I do go back to SG. They would comment things like "oh so good, bachelor again. can enjoy!".. you know silly remarks like that. And I know for a fact that these are the same batch of guys who really enjoy it when their wives "balik kampong" or go back to their hometown. Hahaha.. this is hilarious! Sometimes words are just not meant to be taken literally...Monday:Now home from honeymoon and settled in our new home.It's fun to cook for Tim. Today I made an angel food cake and the recipe said, "beat 12 eggs separately." Well, I didn't have enough bowls to do that, so I had to borrow 12 bowls to beat the eggs in. The cake turned out fine though.Tuesday:We wanted a fruit salad for supper. The recipe said, "serve without dressing." So I didn't dress. But Tim happened to bring a friend home for supper that night. They both looked so startled when I served them, I think it was the salad.Wednesday:I decided to serve rice and found a recipe which said, "wash thoroughly before steaming the rice." Every time me and Azwaj recall this particular incident we always end up laughing so hard and Azwaj always ended up saying how lucky he was I was sooo in love in him that I had forgiven him even before he knew he screwed up big time...Anyway continuing the countdown to our 8th anniversary this 25th March, this incident topped our "he say she say" scenario...This incident happened during our first few date session. We were chatting over dinner on his couch and I was telling him how he "fills" this void I had in my life, when all of a sudden he said, "I don't want to "feel" your void". My Birthday Song

Back in 2004, my ex-boss offered me a contract position as his assistant in Singapore. It was for about two years. The hours were flexible and he, understanding that my hubby is Malaysian and that I would want to return every weekend, even offered that I could leave early on Fridays to go back to KL. Azwaj and me considered the position and it was too good to pass up. We have no kids so that was not a problem at all. After discussing and weighing the pros and the cons, we decided that we will give it a try for a year. After all there was sms, voicechat and even videochat nowadays.So I started work on 15 March 2004, a few days after my birthday. It was fun going back to work. I've always enjoyed working and to be able to work again with my ex-boss was terrific. Mommy was also thrilled to have me back in Singapore. So my routine was set. Counting down to our 8th anniversary next month.. I thought it would be nice to retrace our love story.. our beginning I guess...Me and Azwaj knew each other from a chat room. The Malaysian room to be exact. That room was always so active. Lots of activities, lots of chatters. So when I first joined the room, I had my own cliques, while he had his own. Last week, Mama, on knowing that I was returning to Singapore, asked if I could do a favour for her. She wondered if I can get "Old Spice" and "Tabac" cologne for Abah. It seemed Abah really loved the scent and had long been looking for these two colognes in KL without success. He had even asked mama to see if she could get in Bandung on her trip there last month. Unfortunately without success as well.Anyway, mama found out from my SIL's husband that he "sort" of saw it in Singapore on his last trip there.
