How to Place Your Signature in Blog Posts (Blogger)
2008-06-10 01:07:00 I have been sporting my own signature in my posts almost since I started this blog. Its one of the ways I make my blog unique and interesting. I was inspired by other bloggers who used the same method to sign their posts. Although they never expressed how they made it possible, I figured it out on my own. now I'd like to share that method. :D First you need a camera or scanner, a blue or black ball point pen, some blank paper, photo editing software like Picasa (which is free) or Photoshop, and a photo hosting account online like Flickr or Photobucket. 1) Write your signature on a blank piece of paper the way you want it to appear in your posts. 2) Take a clear photo of your signature or place it in your scanner. 3) Transfer your photo to your computer or scan your signature page. 4) If your scanning software can also edit your image, go ahead and use it. More Baby Stuff
2008-06-09 10:29:00 Yesterday Miguel and I went to a few yard sales part of a community effort in Downey. We stopped at as many as we could to get baby stuff we needed. We managed to buy a bunch of clothes for under $20 and a swing for $30. Quite a deal. I also got a VHS video about yoga during pregnancy. not sure when I will get into it though. We even ate tacos and drank lemonade at one of the yard sales. We did not get to go out like I thought we would. Not even to go to Target to check out the glass baby bottles they have. We did at least wash a load of clothes and I made some Fettuccine Alfredo. And now I finally figure that I get more done while Miguel is at work. Today I went shopping with my sister Lena at Rite Aid. I got a box of Kleenex (cuz I used up the last of it last night drying my tears), an energy saving lgiht bulb (since the last one mysteriously burned out), an air freshener (because the last one just did not last long enough), and a 2 Liter bottle of Sunkist for $1, just for Lena.... Reasons to Celebrate
2008-06-09 10:24:00 Yesterday I was unable to connect to the internet from my home, so I'm at my mother's place using her connection. :D I went to the doctor's office yesterday for my monthly checkup. I nearly wasn't able to get an ultrasound because the doctor thought she needed to see another patient, but I was able to get one last minute. I just wanted to determine the baby's gender. My instincts were right, I'm having a little girl. Since I have already decided on a name, she will be Lily Jean Solorio. Nice huh? I'm soooo happy that I'm having a girl. I don't think I will want to have any more children after this. Miguel has his boy, and now he's going to have the girl he's always wanted. I'm supposed to go back in three weeks to get my sugar levels checked. Although the pain of having UTI has subsided, the annoyance of frequent trips to the bathroom has not. I'm taking a mild medication, which is not as effective as the regular one I'm used to, but at least it won't hurt my baby.... More About: Pregnancy , Celebrate , Reasons
Frustrations
2008-06-09 10:24:00 I was going to stay at my mom's today to be on the internet. Then I changed my mind to try out the AT&T DSL and Vonage equipments that arrived yesterday. I did and was very disappointed. First the DSL would not connect, so the Vonage would not work. I called to cancel my DSL service and let the company know I was returning the equipment. That was a heck of a hassle in its own. When I tried to call about canceling Vonage, I was too late. I have to wait until Monday to call for that. I'm connecting on the wireless network that's near my home. What a surprise its even working. But hey, only five more days until all the Time Warner Cable services are set up here. I tagged along with Miguel to go pick up his check this morning. He thought he would need to give some people rides, but didn't know his dad would be able to instead. Sign Ups and Cancelations
2008-06-04 07:19:00 Today I was going to see about canceling some services I previously signed up for, but did not have the time. I have been signing up and canceling services on the road to find the best deal for what I want. I need phone, high speed internet, and cable service. I began with Verizon DSL, until I found that their service would not work on a competitor's line. Then I signed up for Vonage, at a sweeter than sweet deal that I unfortunately would get in trouble for disclosing. Then I signed up for AT&T DSL. Both Vonage and AT&T have yet to be canceled. The latest I signed up for is Time Warner Cable's All The Best deal. Cable, internet, and phone for about $100 a month. A pretty good deal for better than I expected, until I found out about AT&T's same service bundle for much less. I couldn't find anything on the deal on their website, so I'm gonna stick with Time Warner Cable. Their internet is the fastest, and there is no contracts. Although they do have introductory pric... I'm Back!
2008-06-03 08:05:00 After a few attempts at blogging elsewhere and in different ways since I took a break last year, I have decided to return. This time, with a somewhat different style. I want to be more personal in my expression of self with all that I have to offer. So you'll be learning a lot more about me from now on. To give you an update on what I have been up to, a lot has changed. I found out I was pregnant for the first time on April 20th of this year. Already at 3 months. It took so long to take the test because I thought I was having hypothyroidism problems again. After finding out I am with child, Miguel and I became engaged. I'm currently due September 29th of this year. So I'm about 6 months right now. Miguel and I moved in together last month, renting a room not too far from our previous residences. So far we have most of the major things we need for baby, like a crib, stroller, diaper bag, car seat, high chair, playpen, bouncer, clothes, bottles, blankets, bassinet, and a baby......
