Being In Love - Last Part
2008-03-20 15:13:00 When I'm not doing anything in particular and we're both online, I'd ask him if I could see him. He was never hesitant to show himself. I would then poke fun at how he looked. If it were anybody else, I would be all nice and say that he or she's good-looking.For almost two years now, I am still smitten by this man. When it's before my bedtime here and during his days off from work, I would ask him to turn his cam on and tell him to open his eyes more, since he has such small eyes that they look closed almost all the time. And when he would, I would see if they would change colors with the light. He has very green eyes that even the crappy quality of his cam can't hide and they are so bright that you wouldn't be able to ignore them even if you wanted to.Between the two of us, I've always given him the impression that I'm the insensitive jerk and that since he's so sensitive that he should be the girl. In fact, I oftentimes call him a big girl. Is it obvious that I'm pretty... More About: Personal , Love , Blogging , Part
American Idol - March 19 Top 11 Results
2008-03-20 10:31:00 This week's elimination round will determine who will get to join the American Idol s Tour. That must suck big time for this week's "loser". Let's start the recap. In the future shows, the Idol contestants will have mentors to help them with the competition and they will be Dolly Parton, Mariah Carrey, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Neil Diamond. The songwriting contest has also been announced. So whoever's got skills in songwriting better step up, because your song might be the next American Idol single. So last week the Idol contestants did their first group song together, and I pretty much didn't even bother listening, because frankly it just didn't register too well with me. I'm still trying to forget the mess they made. Honestly. And this week was no different. Sorry Idol contestants. Maybe you guys will do better next. Practice makes perfect, after all.And the results.... Brooke White gets called on first and was announced to be safe. The shocker... Carly Smithson has been put i... More About: Results , March
American Idol - Beatles Week 2
2008-03-19 13:03:00 It's American Idol day again. Performance nights are Tuesdays in the US and Wednesdays in the Philippines, but well, I got friends in the US that like to update me and also like to spoil stuff for me, so I might as well blog about it and tell everyone. The Idols sang Lennon-McCartney songs again, and some did well, and some didn't do too well.Rocker nurse Amanda Overmyer went first and sang "Back in the U.S.S.R.". It's either I was too young or wasn't born yet when this song was written. Umm, a little scared for the nurse. Too much talent on this show.Kristy Lee Cook went next and sang, "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away". Ummm...ok... I hope she goes home. Guess the only thing she's good at is "Amazing Grace". And is that a little skin I see, Ms. Cook? Let's see how far some skin can get you.Personal favorite, David Archuleta, did "Long and Winding Road". You did good, Chosen Boy. You did good. Now it's up to America, but then again, a lot of little girls and boys like this... More About: Week , Beatles
The Talented Mr. Montano
2008-03-19 12:35:00 The Talented Mr. Montano. That is Brian Gorrell's blog which basically sums up how he lost all his life's savings to his ex-boyfriend, Filipino "socialite" DJ Montano, whoever he is.I cannot believe I actually missed this piece of scandal had not Rodel posted a link to Brian Gorrell's blog for it. I mean I already knew that there are a ton of Paris Hiltons in the world, but unlike Paris Hilton, the guy being accused on the said blog isn't as rich as Paris Hilton. The Heiress is The Heiress, but this guy is accused of being a thief, a scammer, and well, the traditional Filipino money-grubber that rips off foreign nationals who are in love with them. Paris Hilton is just rich, shallow and whatever, but this guy is all of Paris Hilton, and that he steals. Paris Hilton doesn't need to steal. The guy is "known" in my country, but I, umm, have not heard of him until this day. And reading Brian Gorrell's blog made me go, "God, some people are just full of themselves." I was thinking ... Reserve Where You're Staying
2008-03-19 11:54:00 Traveling is such a hassle especially if you do not know where you are going to be staying. That is what hotel reservations are for. Nowadays, if you go online, you can find thousands of hotel reservation sites to help you book your stay at. No matter what country you are in at the moment, you will still be able to book it.If you are going to a particular city, all you have to do is visit the hotel reservation site, input the city in the empty field, your expected Check-in date as well as your expected Check-out date. If you are a business man or woman, it's tough if you don't have anything planned out on your trip, right? Now we wouldn't want your plans to get all screwed up.What's interesting about these hotel reservation sites is that you can avail of hotel discounts also. Now who doesn't like discounts? I know I like discounts. Going on a vacation to relax, preferably a resort? It seems that these sites have them all covered. You won't have any problem at all, just as long... Being In Love - Part 5
2008-03-19 08:38:00 A few days later, Online Buddy asked me to be his girlfriend. There was this couldn't-help-but-smile moment. And I said yes. I figured he couldn't do anything to hurt me since he was overseas.Still hung up on the ex, I focused all my energy into forgetting the ex and drowning myself with Online Buddy's attention. I'd ask him if he could stay until I fall asleep, so I won't have time in between being asleep and awake to think of ex. He worked during the night, so we basically had the same bedtime. He's about 12 hours behind.I felt so sorry for him. He stuck with me even though he knew that I was still hung up on ex. I wanted to let go of him, because it was being unfair to him. But I couldn't. He was the only thing I looked forward to everyday and I couldn't bear not hearing from him.It took me almost eight months, six inches off my waist and seven kilos (15.4 pounds) off the scale to get over the ex. Time really can heal you and having someone supporting you and feeling the ... More About: Personal , Love , Blogging , Part
Hungry for Some Schooling
2008-03-18 11:51:00 Not schooling like going through Mathematical stuff again. Trust me, I'm so done with Math, even if I love it. But yeah, surfing through the Internet for some food led me to this site for culinary schools and made me start wondering if I could actually do good in trying to cook up something. At one point in my life, I did want to go to chef school just to learn how to cook. And not just learn how to cook, I'd also want to know how nutritious the food I'm cooking is. It's not like I can't cook, I'm just saying that if I went to a culinary school, I might be able to do better than anyone I know and well, probably start my own restaurant. There's nothing better than the feeling of cooking your own food and can actually be good at it.I love food, can you tell? Sometime in the future, I will hit up some of those schools. Being In Love - Part 4
2008-03-18 03:27:00 "I really like you." Online Buddy says."Huh? Why?""I don't know. You're different. You laugh at my bad jokes and you're funny.""I like you too. When you make your bad jokes, my jokes actually become decent."A pause. He probably was snickering on his end. Or giggling."I just wish you didn't have a BF.""Why?""Because I think I'm falling in love with you." And just as fast as he typed it, he apologized. For the past couple of weeks of talking to him, he has been the shoulder that I leaned on. I never told anyone that I knew personally about how miserable I was with ex, except him.I figured that since he wasn't in the country and that he and I were pretty much anonymous to each other, I poured my heart out to him. By this time, I already knew how he looked like. He looked like he was 16, always wearing that Boston Red Sox baseball cap and always had the TV on behind him with Naruto on it. And when he'd have the hat off, he always had it split in the middle, which I thought was so... More About: Personal , Love , Blogging , Part
Manny Pacquiao Wins Again!
2008-03-16 06:07:00 It was a fight that nobody expected to last as long as 12 rounds. People wanted to see a knock out but that didn't happen today. Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez were at it today to finish what they have started. This fight settled who among the both of them is the best. It just so happens that it was Manny Pacquiao .The scores were 115-112 in favor of Juan Manuel Marquez, 115-112 and 114-113 in favor of Manny Pacquiao. If only I had enough cash, I would've bet on Manny Pacquiao. I would've had enough to cover finances for the entire year if I did. More About: News , Wins
The Chris Richardson Pillowcase
2008-03-14 19:11:00 Okay, so I guess it's pretty obvious that I'm a Richness girl and I think it's about time that I got the design for the pillowcase that I designed for the Richness Raffle last November. But I am so not giving it away. I'm just putting it up on my blog, so that people would at least know that I designed it. Anyway, before designing this pillowcase, I absolutely had no experience working with any photo editing software at all. Seriously. We were just desperate for a design and well, it turns out that when we're desperate, I learn super fast and come up with a solution.Four months after the The Richness Raffle, my pillowcase design has finally reached Chris Richardson and he signed it "Sweet Dreams" even. When I found that out, I thought, "Oh, I'm definitely getting some sweet dreams.". Getting appreciated feels so good. Thank you, Yankeejan from The Richness! Chris Richardson - All Alone
2008-03-14 18:54:00 OMG, Chris topher Michael Richardson , you finally got it out! I've heard about three versions of the song already, and was not expecting the actual recorded version to turn out to be well, good, in my taste. I don't really know when or if I'll get tired of the song, but this song can stick to you, because the melody's so easy to sing along with. He has sung this song on a couple of different occasions and when he did, The Richness were always spazzing at how he liked changing the arrangement of the song. Really, must he do that all the time? Doesn't he know that his loyal fans get all crazy when he does that and even crazier when he does things like post pictures of himself on MySpace? I mean, look at those aviators! Umm, sorry, rambling now, hahah. Anyway, go check out Chris Richardson's MySpace Page and listen to his first ever released single "All Alone", which by the way, you can get on iTunes--later on. For now, it's available on Amazon. It's got a free picture of Chris ... More About: Entertainment
I Just Got Into PayPerPost!
2008-03-14 16:35:00 Finally!!! After three times of trying to get into PayPerPost, they finally approved my blog. Yes, I said it right. Three @$%@% times, people. Ok, so why did I even want to get into PayPerPost? Simple, the site's name says it all. You post, they pay per post. But if you actually are a reader of mine, you would know that not all my posts are all about money talk.I enjoy blogging. Through blogging, I met some blog enthusiasts who like talking about blogging as well. This blog used to be just a place where I ranted about stuff, but all that's in the past now, and then I started blogging about anything that I can find, or anything that I have something to say about.I heard about PayPerPost from one of those blogger friends, so I figured, since I like what I'm doing right now, why not make some cash out of it, right? So I made sure I had enough posts, and readers, and well, still, my blog wasn't good enough. Booo... I tried again about a month later, after God knows how many more pos... More About: Payperpost
Penis Enlargement Reviews
2008-03-14 05:54:00 Don't let the post title scare you. I have Health under one of my categories so penile health is still health. Anyway, men like their packages, well, a little bigger than it already is. Male enhancement exists for the fact that men either just want to boast about their packages, perform "better", or feel better about themselves. In short, those who are not "blessed" enough, get to have more confidence in themselves. If you want to read on penis enlargement, there are a ton of sites out there with so much information on penile health, male enhancement products and more. I've heard of these products but wasn't too sure if they actually worked. Maybe they do, because a lot of people actually use these products. Take a look at this video of a penis extender. I didn't even know they can put it on youtube. So if you are a man and in search of getting "better", go ahead and do a little research on these enhancement products. Check out the reviews and see which one is best suited for you. ;) More About: Reviews , Penis , Enlargement
The Forbidden Kingdom
2008-03-12 14:59:00 OMG... It's The Forbidden Kingdom ! For years, I've waited for Jackie Chan and Jet Li to get together for one project and now they finally did. When I read on the newspaper last year on an interview about Jackie Chan and the work that he's doing, I felt that 2008 was still so far far away. But it's 2008 now and well, time flies! It's about a kung-fu obsessed American teenager who somehow gets himself into---ssshh.. I'm not telling anymore. But I will be watching the movie when it comes out, at least when it's in the movies here. I didn't wait more than a year for this movie and not watch it. I'll watch it, even if I go alone. Haha. I just wanna watch The Forbidden Kingdom , man. I haven't treated myself to a movie in a while, and I have a good feeling that The Forbidden Kingdom is a good movie that can get me into wanting to watch again in the movies. More About: Surveys
Laptops, Laptops, Laptops!
2008-03-11 15:01:00 Being a tech junkie, anything high-tech that I can get my hands on, I have a hard time letting go. When i graduated from college (again), he gave me a laptop for a present. Well, I don't really need a laptop after finishing school, thing is, it would've been a very great help if he gave me one before I finished my first degree.I would've used the laptop for mastering programming and such. If I had what I have now when I was still studying Computer Engineering, maybe I would've done better. Anyway, enough reminiscing of the past that will never return. What I got was an Arnold Xnote. Funny thing though, is that whenever I try Googling it or searching on Yahoo, all that would come up is California Governor Arnold Scwarzenegger. *Sigh* Not wondering why. Anyway, it's got a nice High-Definition LCD screen, with all the works, and so far, it's been very good to me. I'm not gonna go into detail as talk about its specs, because if I do, I'm pretty sutre it'll only bore ya'll. So m... More About: Laptops , Surveys
Congratulations, Graduates!
2008-03-10 13:56:00 Photo from istockIt's the finals week for both my little brother and sister. And for most of the college students here in Cebu, except for the graduating students. Why isn't it the finals for them? Because they're already done with their finals, that's why. Last week, they already took their exams, while the candidates for the honor roll took their about two to three weeks ago. Well, if you go to the Cebu Institute of Technology, that's how it works. It's graduation day again this March 15, 2008. I graduated from my first degree on March 19th, almost three years ago. Saying that, I realize that I've done so little in getting wealthy. By wealthy, I don't just mean getting rich financially. I mean getting rich in experience in life, work experience, and more. But it's not because I was slacking off, it's because I went back to school. Yeah, I graduated with two degrees.Anyway, now that you're finally done with schooling, be thankful, because not everyone can have the opportu... Kelly Rowland and Her Boob Job
2008-03-07 19:34:00 Yes it's true, she really did go for it. Not that it's bad or anything. I mean, a woman does feel a lot better if she feels that she looks good in whatever she's wearing and well she wanted to fill in a dress. Even though her breast size didn't go up that much, she feels content to have a B-cup now instead of being an A-cup forever. Good thing she went for a B-cup instead of a D-cup. She sure knows what suits her. AP reports that she had her breast augmentation last October. More About: News , Music , Kelly Rowland , Kelly , Boob

Samantha Power Calls Hillary a Monster
2008-03-07 19:09:00 Who is Samantha Power , you ask? She's Senator Barack Obama's advisor. According to Associated Press, Samantha Power made the comments during an interview with the Scotsman newspaper.Samantha Power was quoted as saying,"We f***d up in Ohio," Power told the Scottish daily, referring to the Illinois senator's loss to the former first lady in the midwestern state in Tuesday's primary."In Ohio, they are obsessed and Hillary is going to town on it, because she knows Ohio's the only place they can win," Power was quoted as saying."She is a monster, too -- that is off the record -- she is stooping to anything," Power said."You just look at her and think 'Ergh.'"Well now, she's apologizing,"These comments do not reflect my feelings about Senator Clinton, whose leadership and public service I have long admired," Power said in her statement"I should not have made these comments and I deeply regret them. AIDS Medicine For Less
2008-03-07 06:30:00 How many of you know that medication for AIDS can be bought cheaper now? Not in the US or Asia, right? Actually, AIDS has become a lot easier to manage now. Among the very rare times that I watched TV, I once watched a show about AIDS and people who have it in the US. It was the Oprah show and they had Magic Johnson on it. The awareness for AIDS is widespread now, but unfortunately, since there is medicine for AIDS and that it's gotten more manageable, a lot of people don't mind even having it anymore. But it's not easy having something that a lot more people still condemn. In the US, if you have it, you're branded as someone who sleeps with anybody recklessly. Even if people don't know how you got it, people just assume that you got it through sexual contact with a lot of people. In Africa, it's already been established that if you have it, it was due to your lack of knowledge. The same in Asia, except in those places were civilization is "modern".In Asia and Africa, however, a... More About: News , Medicine , Aids
Things to Consider When Doing a Job
2008-03-06 07:02:00 Okay, for all those jobless people out there. How do you know if doing a job is actually worth it? Is it because it pays really well? Or is it because you just love your job? The first one's a really great thing, and paired with the second one, it's the perfect job. But what if you just love the job but isn't getting paid enough for it? Is it still okay? Is it still worth doing the job?I guess it's still worth it if you didn't have a family to feed. You can just fend off for yourself. But if you did, how are you going to get your kids to school and feed them at the same time? And I hate to admit it, but wives, especially the stay-at-home ones or those who budget everything around the house, get frustrated even more than the working husbands. I mean how are you going to pay a $300 bill if your husband just gave you $200? And what about staying pretty for your husband? 2008-03-06 07:01:00 It's 5:30 AM, and I'm listening to music. Why am I up at such an ungodly hour? I still wonder why they call it ungodly. Anyway, it's because I have irregular sleep patterns, and it's gotten worse. So last night, I went to sleep at about 10 something. I was pretty happy since it's been three days since I last went to sleep at night. The last three days I went to sleep at about 6 something in the morning. My Music Players
2008-03-06 07:00:00 Umm, I might have given you the impression that I have too many music players. I mean, how many can a person need, right? Well, not like anybody really cares, but here I go. I only have one actual handheld music player. It's a cheap mp4 player that my little sister gave me for my graduation last October. You can store files, some videos, and of course songs. You can even read documents with it too. All that for just PhP1,300. Yes, it's cheap. I heard it got even cheaper this year.Anyway, my next player on the list is the Winamp mp3 player. Most of my friends in the US talk about having iTunes all the time. But I've had the Winamp program ever since I got my desktop, which is roughly about 2 years now, and have known about Winamp since I was still in high school. Taylor Swift - I'd Lie
2008-03-06 06:54:00 Yes, it's Country music. I still wonder why a lot of people say they hate Country music even though they actually like it in some way. Probably because there're way too many famous people who said they hate the music. I first heard this song on the The Official Richness message boards. And I mean the Real Official Richness boards and not the other one that claimed the name "The Official Richness". I've never heard the song played in Philippine Radio, but that's only because I don't have a radio. Well, my mp4 player has radio, but since we busted my radio back in 2003 for a project, I've never really listened much to the radio.Got off-track again. Ugh. Anyway, the song talks of a girl loving a boy secretly. The tune's catchy in my opinion, and I have sung along to it and played it countless times on my mp3 player on my desktop and laptop, but all of a sudden, everytime I hear the intro to the song, I just feel like changing the song to the next. I found out that after a while,... More About: Music , Surveys , Taylor , Swift
David Hernandez - Former Stripper
2008-03-04 15:26:00 This year's batch has a lot of secrets, apparently. First there was Carly Hennessy/Smithson's being a recording artist already, then Kristy Lee Cook's album still on iTunes. Now it's David Hernandez . Point is, American Idol is supposedly a talent show for the undiscovered, and well, with all the vocally-gifted contestants, most of this year's batch isn't quite undiscovered. But this entry's not about that. There's an ongoing buzz about David Hernandez being gay, but it hasn't been proven yet. But it is true that he did work at a strip club in Arizona, called Dick's Cabaret, and appeared fully nude and did lap dances for the "mostly male" clientele.Well, I don't know how that makes him gay. For all we know he just wanted to work like the rest of us. But that's none of my business now. According to the manager, Hernandez worked there for three years straight until September 30, 2007. And this was because he never renewed his licensing. VoteForTheWorst.com sure got a lot of... More About: News , Stripper
