Union Bank Philippines keeping Filipino?s in Poverty
2009-08-20 05:38:00
Union Bank Philippines is doing its best to keep Filipino ?s in poverty and people hungry. Remember the story from yesterday Unionbank Philippines Theft it is now 24 hours since that poor woman has been able to eat, because Unionbank Stole her money and will take 15 days to pay it back if they ever pay it back. We still can see no reason why it takes 15 days other banks in the world can sort a problem from a ATM fault like this in a few hours, we can only presume the reason for 15 days is it?s a long enough that many people will forget it, so Union Bank never has to pay it back. This seems to be the case we have had comments left by people who have never got their money back after ATM machines failed to pay out. While Unionbank does it?s best to keep people hungry and in poverty they also report record profits. Pat yourselfs on your back Union Bank you have record profits because you steal from your customers and keep your country in poverty. Bonnie and Clyde also bragged about the h...

Unionbank Pilipinas pagnanakaw
2009-08-19 11:38:00
Sorry if translation is not good it was done on Google.
Unionbank Philippines Commits Theft on it's Customers
2009-08-19 09:22:00
It seems like Unionbank Philippines thinks it has a right to steal customers money. As you maybe aware BG Stores has been involved in helping the poor in the Philippines for a few years. One of the things that amazes us is the incompetence of major companies in the Philippines and we feel sure it is one of the main reasons why the country is in poverty. We have just been informed about just such a case a young woman goes to a ATM machine to withdraw money from her Unionbank account for food, the machine does not pay out but it still deducts the amount from her account, so she reports it to Unionbank only to be informed it will take them between 3 to 15 days to even look into it. In that time the woman goes hungry, what if it was her rent money she was withdrawing and Unionbank takes 15 days to look into it, by that time she has been evicted from her house and living on the streets. It is theft and there is no doubt about it, they have taken her money and are refusing to let her have it...

Olympic shopping centre
2009-07-14 17:44:00
The developer of the £1.5bn flagship shopping centre of the 2012 London Olympic Games has signed up just three retailers out of 300 units less than two years before opening, laying bare the crisis gripping retail property.Industry sources said a key reason why Westfield Stratford is struggling to attract retailers, who are battling one of the worst downturns in living memory, is that they are "incredibly risk averse" about committing to future schemes. Some believe Westfield will have to offer hefty concessions, such as rent-free periods, or contributions to shopfitting fees to lure retailers through its doors. However, sources said that the location of Westfield Stratford, in one of the poorest areas of London, and the fact that the shopping centre still resembles a building site, are not helping. Furthermore, observers said that Westfield had alienated some retailers with its decision to increase service charge fees just days after its Westfield London scheme opened near Shepherds ...

Paramedics get on their bikes
2009-07-07 13:07:00
Under a new scheme being launched in Edinburgh and the Lothians, paramedics will be weaving in and out crowds by specialist bicycle. The bikes will become a regular feature at all large-scale spectacles, including the festival but will not act as a replacement for traditional vehicles. The objective is to allow paramedics ease of access among big crowds to carry out basic treatments. The two bikes ? which have been fully kitted out in bright ambulance colours and logos ? would give them an additional resource to respond to a variety of incidentsIt is unlikely the cycles will be on hand at sporting events or concerts, where emergency response will be left to more heavy duty vehicles. The mountain bikes are similar to ones occasionally used by Lothian and Borders police for the same purpose, and indicates a further branching out of the ambulance service. There are no plans to fit the bikes with flashing lights or sirens. Mr Alexander added: "I think the only siren will be the paramedic's...

Original Penguin
2009-07-07 13:05:00
In 1955, Minneapolis-based Munsingwear ? an underwear and military supply company ? ironically became the touchstone of suburban sport with the introduction of the first iconic golf shirt to America ? an ORIGINAL PENGUIN®. The now famous ORIGINAL PENGUIN logo has an interesting story behind it. As history tells us, one of Munsingwear?s salesmen spotted a flock of penguins in the window of a New York taxidermist ? and on what seems like a lark, bought one of the stuffed birds. And before long, "Pete" the penguin became the official mascot and logo of golf shirts. Its first shirt ? the 1955, was an instant golf classic, first to feature an "action gusset" or a ribbed slice of fabric on the underarm to avoid rips during even the most enthusiastic golf swing.an ORIGINAL PENGUIN® by Munsingwear became a staple among the masters of suburban leisure well into the 1980s ? worn by the likes of Arnold Palmer, Bob Hope, Bing Crosby and Richard Nixon. In 2003, an ORIGINAL PENGUIN® was recreated...

UK's shoppers are still spending but do it online
2008-06-04 07:21:00
UK consumers defied the credit crunch to spend a record amount online with retailers last year, Verdict Research has revealed. Bricks-and-clicks retailers delivered soaring online sales up by 35 per cent to £14.7bn in 2007 – a rate of growth almost 10 times higher than that of the total retail market. Verdict said the convenience of the internet continues to be the main driver of sales, but improved retail websites and increased broadband penetration also fuelled the boom. Verdict's senior retail analyst Malcolm Pinkerton said the fact that consumers have less disposable income to spend was boosting retail online sales, as consumers seek out bargains and use price-comparison websites. "Disposable incomes are being squeezed and what is drawing people online is the perception that the internet is cheaper and that they can shop around to get bargains and lower prices. Broadband is also cheaper and it has broadened the spectrum of people who can shop online." However, Mr Pinkerton s...

Microsoft Abandons bid to wreck Yahoo
2008-05-04 03:40:00
Microsoft Corp. walked away from its bid for Yahoo ! Inc. after failing to agree on a price, a setback to the software maker's efforts to catch Google Inc. in the online advertising market. What is laughable here is it is Microsoft's attempt to catch up to Google in the search engine wars.OK I am going to give Microsoft a bit of advice, if you want to catch them the first thing you have to do is make a search engine that works, Microsoft's Live is laughable and any webmaster will tell you it does not work and is a waist of time and money spending time trying to get a high place on Live seach. Just look at Lives webmaster forum it is full of webmasters complaining that it does not index their the way it should. So Microsoft save your money, don't spend it taking over another search engine which I am sure within 5 years you would make as crap as yours, spend it fixing yours if you can't do it yourselves there is a couple of companies at the moment with experimental search engines ...

Peterborough named UK's second greenest place
2008-04-12 15:51:00
THE city's environmental credentials received a major boost today after Peterborough was named as the second greenest place in the UK.The award ? acknowledging the array of green businesses, recycling centres and conservation groups in the city ? comes as Peterborough is striving to become the nation's environment capital.Although the city was pipped to the top spot by Norwich, the survey's organiser ? local information website locallife.co.uk ? said that Peterborough was fast "gaining ground" on its neighbour. It is thought that Peterborough, which has been an Environment City since 1993, missed out on first place because, unlike Norwich, it does not boast any Green Party councillors. That could change after the May 1 elections, with a record nine Green candidates bidding for seats on Peterborough City Council.Today, city council leader Cllr John Peach said: "I am delighted with second place, but next year we are determined to be first. It confirms our aspiration to be the UK's e...
