2007-03-29 17:44:00 Click To Play Episode 6.5?!?! Yes, I was not too happy with the product that was Episode 6 for many reasons! So I went out today and put some new footage together complete with a little personality and fun! You will find this one more pleasing to watch and maybe even get a laugh or two out of it!So as you can see, I have been filming a lot this week to make up for last week's lack of filming! I have been shooting (and walking) so much these past few days that my brain (and my feet) are starting to hurt. I have also shot another music video to be released tomorrow. The video is already finished, but I am holding off for now!I will also be attempting (key word here is attempting) to get some footage from the road and possibly from Syracuse this weekend. Thankfully the little kitty is sleeping for a little while and I can actually get some work done around here! Between watching him and watching Bosco my hands have been full, and I had to turn in a light week in terms of blogging and vlogging. Once the kitty's get adjusted I'll return to my regular schedule of assorted insanity. Until then you'll just have to bear with me and my bits and pieces of random updates! PayPerPost Paid Me!
2007-03-22 20:32:00 As many of you know I have been taking a number of opportunities with PayPerPost and to date I have been paid over $50. I have made another $30 that I am still waiting to be paid and I will have plenty more coming from them in the future too! Every couple of days I like to take another new opportunity with them so that I can get paid on a fairly regular basis. It's nice to get some money deposited right into my paypal account a couple of days per week. Once I transfer that money to my bank account I am free to use it on anything that I want!So people may be wondering, what am I going to do with the money that I am getting for doing all of these paid opportunities from PayPerPost? Well I have big plans for that money in the near future. The first thing that I want to do is buy my own domain name outright, so that I can bring you a bigger and better version of The LOUD Tour! Still Slacking in the Update Department!
2007-03-20 16:39:00 So how about I give you a run down of exactly what has been going on!It appears as though we have all of the paperwork for immigration. It's time to really start reading into all of it an learning exactly what the process is going to be. Some of the items they need like photos and proof that Christine and I are actually a couple will take a little bit of time to produce. I mean who keeps their phone records for three years? Then there is the background check, the medical exam , and other items that you need that the government has to have before they will even process anything. Of course in order to do this, you need to go to a specific doctor and have specific forms filled out for specific reasons depending on your specific location. The background check is the same thing, more specific forms that need to go to a specific place and signed by a specific person, then sent to another place to be verified and checked before they can be sent to two more places and they can decide... Boy are those things expensive! I really want to upgrade the look and feel of LOUD Tour TV to something a bit clearer and more up to date. Really the feature I would like most right now is image stabilization. The guy at the store kept trying to sell me on another digital camera that could accomplish the same thing. The point he was missing was that I also wanted to upgrade the resolution and be able to have the HD feature in the future. Do salesmen even listen anymore?Anyhow that's about it for me for now! Thoughts, Plans, and Observations
2007-03-13 16:49:00 Yes it time to get back in the saddle again in terms of writing and taking pictures. Right now those are the only two things that are really making me any money. I have been focusing extra hard these past 3 weeks on the LOUD Tour TV project and it has taken some of my time away from the other two things that I am more known for. This does not mean however that I am going to work any less then I do now on the video project. Now that there are more hours in the day that leaves me more time for all of my projects. the photo and video projects are much more effective when I do them in daylight. I can write on the blogs either in the morning or at night.Many of my other blogs have suffered these past three weeks in the update department. I will be coming back to them in good time, but you will see updates there on a less frequent basis. This is another step that I have decided to take to allow more interactivity with my readers. I hope to update it regularly and give people a run down of what exactly is going on in the world of The LOUD Tour.By now many of you may have noticed that I have switched my videos from YouTube to Blip TV. I am very happy with the switch. Not only can I bring you LOUD Tour TV in a more efficient manner, but I can also bring it to you in higher resolution because of the improved video format. You will also notice that unlike YouTube, MySpace, and Google video there is no watermark on the video. That is a huge plus! Hello Firefox...Goodbye IE! Oh yeah and some Vlogging!
2007-03-09 21:40:02 I have finally made the switch! I know, what took me so long? So far I like the Fire fox browsing platform about a million times better then IE. Not only are the loading times much faster, but it doesn't crash or use up nearly as much memory as IE. I really wish that I would have made the switch sooner! All I have left to do is to get some of my old bookmarks into Firefox and I'll be all set. I have downloaded the Google tool bar and also an Alexa plug in at this point. What are some other good plug ins that I can download for Firefox that would really be useful? Any information that you could give would be extremely helpful!In other news I am going to a meet and greet of sort with some other Vlogger's from Montreal tonight. That's not the best part though! 2007-03-06 21:38:01 My frustration has reached an all time high with Googl e and their page ranking system. I am at a loss for what to do to get my page rank above zero. That's right I said zero, my page rank is STILL stuck on zero. Maybe sometime in 2027 when they finally have an accurate calculation of my actual page rank I might get all the way up to 1. Until then I'll just dwell here at the very bottom and be one of the most unpopular and unread people on the internet, how does that sound?Why am I stressing on this? What's To Stop Me From Becoming A Star?

The question is, why can't someone like me be able to accomplish these same goals? Is it the lack of money that sets me back? Is it my name? It says that the #1 way of interactivity is through comments. It goes on to list other add-ons that you can put on your blog such as chat rooms, shout boxes, forums, and other things that are designed to get your readers more involved in your blog. In the article it also warns that you, the author, need to be willing to interact with your readers as well. 2007-02-28 21:33:10 This happens to me sometimes. Some how I have managed to burn myself out creatively before the day even started. When I went to bed last night I thought of all kinds of stuff that I could do or wanted to get into today. Somehow in between the time I went to bed last night and woke up this morning I managed to spend every drop of creative energy. The only amount of creativity that I have left for today is whether or not to put mustard on my ham sandwich!I was like this yesterday too, but I was fighting a migraine all day yesterday. Hopefully at some point I will wake up out of the fog that I am in today and spend some time outside seeing the world. By our standards up here it is a very nice day! Yes it's only 27 and sunny, but there is no wind at all, so it actually feels ok to be outside! Now the question is, where would I want to go and what would I want to do?So I guess I'll try to eat some lunch, then take a shower. After that I might be able to think of something! Attention Google Video Users...
2007-02-28 21:33:10 I am looking for your opinions. Recently I have launched LOUD Tour TV as something to compliment my blog. I posted my video over to YouTube and it took nearly 2 hours for it to become available to be embedded here on my blog. The first try did not work because the sound was not synced with the video so I had to convert the format from AVI to WMV and then re post it to YouTube which then took another two hours for my video to become available to embed again. The video was a little over 2 minutes in length. The file size was roughly 6.5 MbNow what I want to know from you Google Video users is how long from the time you upload your video until the time it is available to be embedded on blogs and other websites? Also are their issues with syncing sound and video on AVI files? I am currently shooting my videos with my Fuji FinePix E550 digital camera. As you can see the quality is pretty good. 2007-02-28 21:33:10 Evil Sara has left the building! She came up for a couple of days of partying Montreal style! Friday night we had some folks over for a little party. It went kind of late, or early depending on how you look at it! It was a fun time and Sara has most of the pictures. She will be posting many more on her blog when she arrives home!We did take one picture however that came out really interesting. Evil Sara performs with a drum corps from San Francisco called the Renegades. Now Christine and I have attended a couple of their parties on DCA weekends and have made friends with quite a few folks over there. It started last night when I was looking into buying my own domain name (which by the way appears to be an expensive proposition even though I only looked at one place, Godaddy.) With the future of blogging and blog advertising, buying my own domain name seems like a very logical thing to do. Some bloggers are already paying for their own domains, but I would venture to say the large majority of us are using free services to host our blogs. We can generate revenue through various means, and make a little extra cash from it. Only recently have the larger "paydays" shifted to the blogger who has their own domain and hosts their own content.
