I’m almost 30 yet I have problem taking care of myself. Suffering from a terrible flu, which I know, it would have just taken me over. A very good excuse to swallow in self-pity and cry over the slightest thing and then start blaming the whole wide world for being so vulnerable. But I’m a strong girl. Pretty strong for my petite size. Or maybe when one has already been almost 30, crying doesn’t seems that easy anymore. And crying isnt that worthwhile either. Maybe I will just see a doctor tomorrow.

What a great way to start 2008 . Sleeping non-stop. I wasn’t wasting myself away in crowded countdown, nor was I drunk like nobody’s business yesterday. I was simply sick. Caught a flu bug last night and on the 1st day of 2008, I was practically sleeping the whole day. And in the midst of writing this post, I fell asleep again for an hour. =) After suffering for a day with only one pill of panadol cold relief pill, I decided to pop 2 Carinase into my body. I hope I will feel better later. =) On the last day of 2007, I was invited to Jane’s place for dinner with the rest of the Crazychildren gang. Jane prepared 1kg of beef, some ribs, mutton, gourment sausages and a huge bowl of potatoes salad. Kit, was lucky to have a half day off, and she prepared chicken. And me, I was offered to do garden salad. In the end, I only managed to bring with me a bottle of Thousand island dressing from my place. With no vege. LOL. Long story. MY SISTER HAS LEARNED TO FART LIKE ME

I hardly fart. But when I do, whoaaaaaaaa, it can be explosive! My most memorable farts: 1) Suffering from a bad tummy ache, I have that kind of farts that you know it is gonna smells damn badly. So, I went to my sister’s room and lie by her side, pretending to have a heart-to-heart talk. When the fart acumulated, I farted and run away! Leaving her screaming in her room. No, it did not end there. Knowing that she will not let me enter her room again, I waited patiently till the fart disseminated. And, I tip-toped to my living room, farted and hurried back to my room. Then I started screaming “Nana! Come to my room quickly! Faster faster I got something to show you.” (Note: My sister’s room and my room is separated by the living room. 1) YAKINIKU DAIDOMON http://www.daidomon.com.sg/ This is the 2nd time I am writing about this place. Well, good food deserve a 2nd recommendation right? Anyway, yesterday was dinner at Yakiniku Daidomon at the expense of my darling sister who has got her bonus and increment! Good choice of restaurant recommended by my God-ma…whoohoo! Also, she has 10% discount here..LOL. So with my mummy, my sisters, my ah-ma, my god-ma, my cousins and my bf, 11 of us took 2 cars and make our way down to Keypoint at Beach Road. That’s my family posing under my command! Before we start, everything on the table looks clean and empty. My sister asked me why I have friends called Naboon and Siboon. Hmmmm, seriously, I have no idea how did their names came about and I’m making a wild guess here. Naboon => Like to scold Na Bu (while throwing the hp away, “KA NI NA BU!”) Siboon => Like to scold Si Bu (”SI BU! Last week was an extremely busy week for me. As usual, what else is new. Friday has also been something I look forward to. And sad to say, I don’t usually do much to ensure that something will be in place until the very last minute. However, I do have very understanding friends who already knew this bad habit of mine. Okieeeeeeeee! My dearest readers, if I ever have one, I’m back, with love. =) I was really caught up with work and spending time on stuffs other than work is so not an easy option for me. Other than feeling damn pissed that I have to forgo 2 Mondays of dance class due to deadlines and also having to miss the clubbing opportunity on last Wednesday with my girlfriends because I was in Shanghai for business trip, I guessed there were other tiny little stuffs that might have improved my mood since my last post. Just came back from Shanghai on Friday evening, and I was looking desperately for my clubbing kakis. Again, I must emphasize that I am not a cheongster. I have to attribute this post to Tirades. On a Saturday night, his msn was displaying “2 late 2 apologise” Generally, he is pretty nice person. I thought someone pissed him off real badly. So it turned out it was the lyrics of Apologise. I have heard this song over the youtube some time ago. Because Tirades mentioned it again, I decided to search over the youtube and I found 2 contestants from “So you think you can dance” did a terrific piece on this song. And I must say the choreography and the dancers matched the song perfectly. Apologize I haven’t been really dancing in my proper dance gear for the past 3-4 years unless clubbing counts. Definition: A cousin in English kinship terminology is a relative with whom one shares a common grandparent or more distant ancestor, and who is not in one’s own line of descent. At times, we call them “kar chng”. LOL. Last weekend was a weekend full of cousins. We celebrated Hari Raya on Saturday. My uncle bought nasi brani, laksa, mee siam, mutton, and other food from all over the island. Another uncle brought his Wii, and the rest of the adults enjoyed it more than us! In the end, we decided to camera-whore in the room. LOL And last sunday was Huiling’s wedding at RELC hotel. The last time I saw her was damn damn long time ago. After watching the news about a kangaroo at Bathurst Racetrack with v8supercars speeding over 200 kph, I decided to search the youtube for the clip which our news caster has just screened. “The kangeroo who hop right into the racing track” I think this is the one on tv. Then I found another clip which is also a near miss for the kangeroo. The animal slipped and almost rolled under the car. This kangeroo has 9 lives! And this is a very sad case where the kangeroo got hit….Sigh. Did you see the kangeroo fly? Then I found this classic. Why men stray at the look of boobs. LOL

I have been complaining and whinning about the past few half-fark “clubbing” experiences which I have to go through past few months. Reasons: 1) My dance kakis are not available for one reason or another. 2) It is always drinking and drinking. Where’s the dancing? Argh. Anyway, I have one bottle of chivas, expiring on the 5 Oct so my colleagues went down to finish the drink. 4 guys and 1 girl. We reached iRumours like 9am, damn damn early but I guess we need to start early so that we can finished the bottle fast. It was pretty much relaxing but I feel these guys should have drink more. This is one of those time when it sucks to be in a relationship. Especially it feels as though you are not in one at all. As what I told my friend, don’t feel too upset. Things will get better. Then again, when we always give neutral or “safe” or positive advises to friends, do we sincerely think that it will be better? Or it is just more comforting to hear? So actually I should have told her that it is bad that you feel this way. The more you are upset and the more you tell yourself to forget it and just let it be, thinking things are just not going to change anyway, it’s definitely a sign of running away. And by thinking that letting it go will resolve the problem now, it only show that you are not interested to be bothered in this relationship at all. Penguins (order Sphenisciformes, family Spheniscidae) are a group of aquatic, flightless birds living almost exclusively in the Southern Hemisphere. I always thought penguins are funny animals. They look funny. They walk funny. And they behave funny. The reason why I truely adored penguins is when several years ago, I watched on tv a documentary about penguins. And the narrator gave an example, of a certain species of penguins, while the male penguin went out to get food, against the danger of flying predators, he returns to his female penguin, only to realise that she has changed her heart for another male penguin. When you go nightspots and you see pretty cars queueing alongside, usually if it is a babelicious passenger, we all hope that the driver is old and ugly. =) Sigh. But come on, if you see a car like that, do you really care how the driver look? My eyeballs would have been glued to the car, and as for the ugly and old man who probably afford to own this car, I would tell myself, it’s okay. Just pretend he is your driver. LOL. Woke up very very late yesterday, close to noon. Then me and Xianjie headed to J8 for a very very late lunch @ Swensen. Catch up with each other a little bit. And I bought 2 new eyelashes from The Faceshop and i nuovi. Gonna try the 3/4 type of eyelashes next week. Wonder how it will look like. heh heh. It has been a long tim I strolled along the street of AMK Central. It seems like 10 years down the memory lane when I was just schooling in AMKSS. New changes yet a sense of familiarity. Then we went to AMK Hub and shopped around before going to S11 to celebrate Kelly’s Birthday!!!! Lucky me, I have been going to Thai Village for sharkfins every week for the past 3 weeks. I am so freaking sick of it. The more you are afraid of it, the more likely you have to come back here again. Just like iRumours, I finally finished the last bottle and hoping to club hop and there it happens again. One more bottle tonight and how should I finish it? And every week, I have overseas guests. And make a guess how many crabs and chicken rice do I have to go through? Can’t anyone just have porridge????!!!!! Just PLAIN porridge. Then again I should be counting my blessing, some people dont even get to eat it at all. I will be flying again next week…. Facing the computer and trying hard to analyse data which doesnt seems to be generating facts into my mind is forcing me to fall asleep easily. Yet, I caught up with an old friend’s blog and marvel at the way he writes. It is interesting reading his blog but somehow I kinda feel I am invading his privacy. He removed the blog link from his public page immediately when there was a concern response from his fellow friend. I knew he didn’t want someone else prying into his inner self.
