It’s my dearest mummy’s birthday today. As a family practice, we will buy a cake and celebrate at home. heh heh heh… My mummy is a very capable woman. She has great memory and plans ahead for her children. But she is not feeling so well nowadays. Got to take medicine daily. She knows most of my friends. Even thought my house is messy, she topped in her school for Home Economics. She is cute and funny and mingles very well with my friends. Protect us at her best. Sigh. I hope i got money to buy a big house so that she can stay with me and have aircon very day. LOL.

Date: 23 June, Sat Time: 7pm Venue: Chill i Padi Nonya Café (Opp Bugis Junction, MOS Burger. It is next to Cheers convenience shop, behind the bus-stop) Yep, we celebrated Yenping’s birthday today at Chilli Padi Nonya Cafe. With the rest of the gang, and Duanyi came for a while too…releasing the secret that Yenping will be married by 2009…hehe.. the way I see it. The wedding day might come earlier. I know. Of all places, I met Carol Chen at the street of Bugis. The fact that I dont come to town that often and she has been really flying most of the time, I was really amazed to see her in Singapore. We caught up a little while standing in the crowded street of Bugis. Asking about the same usual things. She is leaving on Sunday and coming back on the 11 July. Rehearsals every single night. No boyfriend yet but she is happy to be dancing. =) . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I DROVE MY 1ST BMW TODAY!

whahahahahahahahahahahahaha…&helli p; Yap. I drove my 1st BMW today….heh heh.. I should say, today is the 1st day I drove BMW. Cos the BMW is not mine…LOL Well, I have a joint visit with a working partner today and he has kindly offered me the keys to drive his BMW. You know, usually people are not so generous with sharing their luxurious car but hey, I decided to take up his offer today. LOL It rocks to be a BMW driver. It ROCKS MORE to be a female BMW driver. You can drive slowly or quickly, a little towards the left or a little towards the right, you can stop at traffic light and look at other drivers and then look back at your own mirror to see if your fake eyelashes are still in place. While driving from Ayer Rajah to Toa Payoh to Ayer Rajah and to Aljunied, I was constantly looking for a chance to highlight and AIR HORN careless drivers. REMIND ME. NO SAME PLACE EVERY WEEK

The urge to dance came again last Friday. So, between New Asia Bar and Boiler room, I changed my mind last minute to Boiler Room becos of the VIP card which can bring 2 guests in. And when I got there, met up with my girlfriends, and started dancing, hmmmmm, we concluded that this place might be the 2nd and last time we will come in this year. Why? Becos they played almost the same song as last week. Even the dance steps are the same. Sigh. I agreed that this place is catagorised to play the same genre songs but not the same songs right? I guessed the clubs in Singapore are all like that. Every Friday - set A, Every SAt - Set B, etc etc. When I didn’t club for a long time, and found a nice place, usually the 2nd consecutive visit would have killed my interest by 50%. I simply do not understand why people are amazed by the same club and and frequent the same place every week since these clubs just play the whole set all over again. MY HOUSE IS FLOODED TODAY

Yes, I received a call from my sister saying that my maid called and said our house was flooded. I thought it was only a small leak. But no. It was an enormous leak from the water pipe from my mum’s room and whatever that touches the floor is damaged. My poor maid got to shift everything herself and by the time I rush back, it is flooding like no one’s business. And my colleague and neighbour couldn’t turn off the water pipe from outside. The new paint from HDB kinda harden the nut and there was no grooves for us to turn using the spanner or whatever tools we have. I can only see the meter goes tick tick tick very very fast. And I called the SP service and they refer me to PUB. Although it wasn’t PUB’s problem, they have arrange someone to come down and helped us turn it off. I called my plumber too. Luckily he reached here faster than them and stop the flooding. Sigh. I think Town Council should make regular check if these switches are working. In thi...

CLUBBING EXPERIENCE @ BOILER ROOM, ST JAMES

Alright, I know I know. I didn’t have exactly a very good experience at St James for the past 2 visits there. Recalling experiences… 1st Visit: There was only Movida, Dragonfly and Bellini Room (I hope I thnk not get the name wrong.) The music wasn’t exactly my favourite…and we ended up drinking and doing the “等一下” for the rest of the night. 2nd Visit: Queued 45 minutes for the damned happening place Power House before we actually start any dancing. oh..and Movida and Dragonfly was packed like sardines. So, I might not have even considered there as a place that I would really go if I can helped it. And between MOS and ST James, which were the 2 options Jane gave me, I picked ST James. Yep, I know, I am really torned between the 2 places. Both places have different music genres all in one place. But the reason I picked ST James was that I can bring 2 guests in and I think the Boiler Room should stand a chance to win me back to St James… And...

The AMKSS girls had a meeting on last Friday at Olio, Bishan. Wanted to join Kelly earlier for dinner but i couldn’t free myself earlier until 9pm. This sucks man. I only managed to join the rest of the gang for 30-45 minutes before I rush to St James.. Well, though it was short, I pretty much enjoyed the presence of chilling out together, especially while talking about the “happenings” of the guys whom we know. LOL. Then we were wondering if they would gather and talk about us the same way… Kelly, Sinling, Jane and Khim just came back from Taiwan trip and got me an Owl key pouch which is really cute! You can carry it like a handy-dandy pouch or just keep it inside your bag. Yesterday, after fighting some monsters in Conquer (Yes I am now a level 80 Fire Wizard! WHoohoo! Please see pic above) I picked up Kit and Steven and headed to Raffles City. We are going to watch Studiowu’s Musical at Jubilee Hall . Ceiling of Jubilee Hall. Swee leh. The stage which brings back memories. Remember our last performance at Jubilee? LOL. Pioneer leh. Kit arh! The picture of us in my phone is quite bad. I think my phone is a little retarded. Please send me the pictures we took in your phone! =) Many familiar faces on stage….and unfamiliar faces too. But it was nice to see Bryan, Ivan, Farah, Huay Ling, Emilin, Sheila, Carol, San san, Jocelyn, one of the twin sisters.. We bought 12 daisys for the performers but Ivan went off fast. Happy Holiday: Vesak Day

I never really noticed what public holiday it is really as I get older. It only means a day of rest to me. Not until this morning, I knew that it is Vesak Day. Last night after the dinner at Parkroyal hotel, I headed to DoubleO to meet Kit and Joanne. Dance until sweating…and as usual the ever lasting Ms Duracell operated dancer, Kit is never tired unless we called for a break. Ladies night basically means free entry and free drinks. Whoa, really good for us to come and just sweat away FOC. LOL. Sorry girl, got to end early becos my bf insist on coming to fetch me…this offer is really once in a blue moon. =) I woke up about 12noon and my sister ordered Mac Big Breakfast for me. Dreadfully, time past. Under tremendous stress, I have curbed the need to dance in loud music since last week. Work is so stressful. And everyone’s advise is RELAX. Easy to say but difficult to do. Police siren?…funny siah. Tomorrow, farewell dinner. I hate farewell dinner. There is nothing to celebrate. I mean people are leaving. What is there to celebrate? Someone is leaving and if you are upset, why still celebrate? Whatever. Tomorrow I am going clubbing. I think I might club again on Friday and Saturday. Dance away from reality.

Alright. This is probably not a new place to many. But this is my first time here. The ambience is 8/10 and the live singing is 8/10. Service 8/10. Food. can be better. It is so relaxing. a really good place to chill. enjoy the soft singing and the house red wine is good. Doesn’t stain the lips and doesn’t taste too twangy. For 40 bucks a bottle, it is pretty good to my taste. The salad with mushroom. Yum! Tasty wings..Good! Steak..my friend ordered this. Not too sure nice a not but she finished it. Should be not bad. My pork chop. I don’t like it. Too tough and the pork smell very strong. But one thing to note, the manager did not charge me for the pork chop since it was not to my taste. =) I ordered a banana crepe with ice-cream to save my dinner experience here. Not bad.

Last Friday, I had dinner at Princess Terrace Cafe , Copthorne King ’s Hotel . Not my first time there, but I thought it will be nice to share the food experience with you all. This place serve Penang food in buffet. If you are a member of the Copthorne hotel, it is pretty worth while to eat here. It’s 50% off for 2 person and parking is $3 for the first 4 hours…or $4 for the first 3 hours.. BUT if you dont have the card, the parking can be very costly…warning issued. Penang Prawn Noodle! Once of the best stuff you got to take. Authenic soup base and big prawns, and you are free to put as many fried pork oil cubes…as you want…LOL The main buffet. You cannot missed the fried kway teow. I took the toufu, the greens, softshell crabs, the braised pork. Actually this is only the 20% of the buffet stuff I took. KIRVY & LYNNE’S ROM @ HALIA BOTANIC GARDEN

The last time I went to Botanic Garde n s was when I need to complete the Young Scientist Card. LOL. Today I attended Kirvy and Lynn e’s rom at Hali a cafe at botantic garden. Well Kirvy was very good-looking in his suit and Lynne was very beautiful in her greenish yellow shiny tube dress. Not to mention her hair was very nicely done up. =) The place where they carry out their solomnisation is well decorated and since it is air-conditioned, the hot weather did not affect us all. The JOP was a pretty old man…but well versed in Chinese and English. =) After the several loud “I DO” enforced by the very old JOP, Kirvy went on to thank his guests and shared with us his relationship with Lynne and how appreciative and thankful that he has Lynne has his wife now… it was a really short but beautiful speech and everyone was touched. It is always the guys who tells everyone how much he loves he wifes during ROM/wedding and never the other way around. Same for Kit...

WEEKEND IS ALMOST OVER.

Yep. weekend starts on Friday night and ends by Sat night. Sunday is just a transition period before the sad working day kicks in. Friday night I went out with 2 Shanghai friends who are currently stationed in SIngapore. Hehehe…we took them for Thai food at Tanglin Mall and drove around to see the night scene. And Saturday just flew past without much awareness. I woke up in the morning and went for my braces appointment at 11am at Orchard. Doctor Soh asked, ” How is your teeth?” I replied. ” Looks the same for the past few months. Not moving a lot.” Doctor Soh in turns says, “I will change to the super power one today to close the gap faster.” And he change my rubber band in 5 minutes and off I go.
