DID YOU THINK I WENT MISSING?
2007-07-25 17:51:00 LOL… I just came back from Taiwan last Sunday and practically no time to update my photos at all…. And I am now in Hostun Hotel (豪仕登大酒店), Suzhou 市区,China. Took the 11.35am flight from Singapore to Shanghai. Food in SQ flight beats China airline anytime… I regret complaining about SQ food due to frequent flights but after tasting China airline inflight food, SQ is still better. BUT…the service standard of the China Airlines are better…maybe the Taiwanese ladies are very much dedicated and soft-spoken than our home grown SQ girls. Another point to note when you reach Shanghai airport, NEVER EVER eat at their cafe resturants cos it is expensive and SUPER DUPER distasteful. Arghhhh…. Took a 3 hours plus ride from Shanghai to Suzhou and reach hotel only at 10pm… damn tired but glad that my taiwanese suppliers were still waiting for us at the hotel, brought us to better food and leg massage at only SGD10 bucks for 90 mi... Char siew pau? It’s chopped cardboard
2007-07-14 02:59:00 http://tnp.sg/news/story/0,4136,135756,00 .html? Char siew pau? It’s chopped cardboard July 14, 2007 IF some Beijing residents thought their char siew pau were a bit tough, they were not imagining things. Steamed buns are commonly sold in Beijing’s streets. — Picture: AP Chopped cardboard, softened with an industrial chemical and flavoured with fatty pork and powdered seasoning, was used in place of the barbecued pork filling and sold in one Beijing neighbourhood, China’s media reported. The expose, aired on Wednesday night on China Central Television, highlights the country’s problems with food safety despite government efforts to improve the situation. The undercover investigation features the shirtless, shorts-clad maker of the buns, called baozi, explaining the contents of the product sold in Beijing’s sprawling Chaoyang district. The hidden camera follows the man, whose face is not shown, into a ramshackle building where steamers are fi... More About: Cardboard
MY DEMANDING SISTER
2007-07-08 13:50:00 My sister is so demanding! Last week we have a family chalet at DownTownEast. Wanted to blog about the lousy service from that farking sickening place but decided not to waste my time on it. We have to leave about 1.30am because the farking security guards who are supposed to be patrolling around the damn place couldn’t keep the rowdy and drunk occupants quiet. This 200 over dollars spend at this ***** congested town, I will just considered it as money “donated” to the fake monks staying at geylang. And why did I brought it up again? Well, my kawaii sister asked how come never put her picture in my blog since we took pictures on that day? LOL. More About: Sister , Demand
WHATEVER POST
2007-07-08 13:30:00 There seems to be a lot of things I wanted to write about this weekend but I stop short after reading other’s people blogs. Too many words floating in my mind and I’m hungry at this moment. 1) Wear green on 7 July 2007. Earth day. I intend to wear green for this day but I forgot the moment I woke up. End up wearing yellow top and demin skirt. And went to Gleneagles medical center to buy my mum’s medicines. These medicines costs me about SGD968. 2) I am suffering from uclers becos of those darned braces. Bought an ucler medication for SGD 11…Wha lao eh…so expensive. 3) Then I headed to AH PENG BAK KU TEH for lunch. The food is average but I lke the salted vegetables. And next to my table, I saw one malay enjoying his Bak Ku Teh too. I heard about malay army mates who requested for char siew baos on a night out, but eating bak ku teh was rather refreshing to me. Maybe he is the only one in the family who is not muslim. 4) Dragonfly @ St James on Frid... More About: Post
MY SISTER’S GRADUATION
2007-07-04 16:20:00 whooohooo! Finally, my youngest sister has graduated from NYP - Digital Media Design. Took half day leave to attend her graduation and basically I fell asleep during the 2 speeches by Dr who who and some minister. Not to be rude, but the speech may sound aspiring to the graduads but to the rest of the people who are already working in the reality world will know how much truth does these speeches carries. Sorry to break the bubbles but purrrrrrrlllllllllllease…. you need more than a paper and nice speech to handle the stress in the harsh world. And i dont understand why I must stand up or clapped for the invited guests, people from the media and industry…and a panel of people whom I am not sure who they represent. I think the most important people in the hall that day are the graduads and their parents. I did my best effort to clap for everyone even though I dont know them. And these guests, they just sit there and watch. only clapped at the end. Come for what? Anywa... More About: Graduation , Sister , Adua

DRAGONFLY 2
2007-07-01 12:27:00 Reading my previous post, you will know that I probably fell asleep without knowng what I have posted. Even when I read it the next time day, I cannot recall what the hell I wanted to say. So here goes the repeat version: Okay im tired to elaborate. I forced Audrey to go St James with me just before she went onto mrt for home. We landed ourself in halal 2Hot Cafe at Vivocity where the food is disappointing, menus are hard to read, and they do not accept credit card if the bill is below 20 bucks due to the transaction fee incurred. So I asked, “Pay cash got discount a not?” Well, the fact that I use cash to pay so that you can exempt yourself from paying the bank should entitle me some cash rebate right? Cause the fact that credit card give me credit terms and your shop want COD, then I think I deserve some cash rebate as this payment mode benefits you mainly. Side thots: Well, actually if their food was better, and service were more attentive, I would have comply more re... More About: Dragon , Dragonfly , Drago

Even thought my house is messy, she topped in her school for Home Economics. She is cute and funny and mingles very well with my friends. Protect us at her best. Sigh. I hope i got money to buy a big house so that she can stay with me and have aircon very day. LOL. More About: Mummy , Today , Birthday
I READ THIS OFF MY FRIEND’S BLOG
2007-06-27 16:14:00 A REASON WHY WE ARE UNHAPPY A reason why we are unhappy is that we are not true to ourselves. Paradoxically, we are also untrue to ourselves when we are untrue to others, as true sincerity to yourself naturally overflows to those around you. How (un)happily we relate to others is related to our happiness, since much of our lives involves relating to others. When we speak of being true to ourselves, it is usually mistaken that we should simply do whatever we fancy for ourselves. Obviously, this doesn’t really bring happiness. If it does, we would be perfectly happy already. This means we are doing the wrong things to be happy. Being true means being aligned with the truth, qualities of which include the realisation of generosity, loving-kindness and wisdom. Often, happiness is seeked through their opposites - attachment (to personal happiness), aversion (to those who “threaten” our happiness) and delusion (about what is happiness). Attachment and aversion arise from... More About: Blog , Friend , Read

I SAW CAROL CHEN
2007-06-23 17:37:00 I know. Of all places, I met Carol Chen at the street of Bugis. The fact that I dont come to town that often and she has been really flying most of the time, I was really amazed to see her in Singapore. We caught up a little while standing in the crowded street of Bugis. Asking about the same usual things. She is leaving on Sunday and coming back on the 11 July. Rehearsals every single night. No boyfriend yet but she is happy to be dancing. =) . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I DROVE MY 1ST BMW TODAY!
2007-06-21 15:04:00 whahahahahahahahahahahahaha…&helli p; Yap. I drove my 1st BMW today….heh heh.. I should say, today is the 1st day I drove BMW. Cos the BMW is not mine…LOL Well, I have a joint visit with a working partner today and he has kindly offered me the keys to drive his BMW. You know, usually people are not so generous with sharing their luxurious car but hey, I decided to take up his offer today. LOL It rocks to be a BMW driver. It ROCKS MORE to be a female BMW driver. You can drive slowly or quickly, a little towards the left or a little towards the right, you can stop at traffic light and look at other drivers and then look back at your own mirror to see if your fake eyelashes are still in place. While driving from Ayer Rajah to Toa Payoh to Ayer Rajah and to Aljunied, I was constantly looking for a chance to highlight and AIR HORN careless drivers. REMIND ME. NO SAME PLACE EVERY WEEK
2007-06-17 02:29:00 The urge to dance came again last Friday. So, between New Asia Bar and Boiler room, I changed my mind last minute to Boiler Room becos of the VIP card which can bring 2 guests in. And when I got there, met up with my girlfriends, and started dancing, hmmmmm, we concluded that this place might be the 2nd and last time we will come in this year. Why? Becos they played almost the same song as last week. Even the dance steps are the same. Sigh. I agreed that this place is catagorised to play the same genre songs but not the same songs right? I guessed the clubs in Singapore are all like that. Every Friday - set A, Every SAt - Set B, etc etc. When I didn’t club for a long time, and found a nice place, usually the 2nd consecutive visit would have killed my interest by 50%. I simply do not understand why people are amazed by the same club and and frequent the same place every week since these clubs just play the whole set all over again. My friends who frequent Dragonfly told me the ... More About: Week , Place , Lace , Same , Remind Me

MY HOUSE IS FLOODED TODAY
2007-06-12 15:38:00 Yes, I received a call from my sister saying that my maid called and said our house was flooded. I thought it was only a small leak. But no. It was an enormous leak from the water pipe from my mum’s room and whatever that touches the floor is damaged. My poor maid got to shift everything herself and by the time I rush back, it is flooding like no one’s business. And my colleague and neighbour couldn’t turn off the water pipe from outside. The new paint from HDB kinda harden the nut and there was no grooves for us to turn using the spanner or whatever tools we have. I can only see the meter goes tick tick tick very very fast. And I called the SP service and they refer me to PUB. Although it wasn’t PUB’s problem, they have arrange someone to come down and helped us turn it off. I called my plumber too. Luckily he reached here faster than them and stop the flooding. Sigh. I think Town Council should make regular check if these switches are working. In thi... CLUBBING EXPERIENCE @ BOILER ROOM, ST JAMES
2007-06-10 09:28:00 Alright, I know I know. I didn’t have exactly a very good experience at St James for the past 2 visits there. Recalling experiences… 1st Visit: There was only Movida, Dragonfly and Bellini Room (I hope I thnk not get the name wrong.) The music wasn’t exactly my favourite…and we ended up drinking and doing the “等一下” for the rest of the night. 2nd Visit: Queued 45 minutes for the damned happening place Power House before we actually start any dancing. oh..and Movida and Dragonfly was packed like sardines. So, I might not have even considered there as a place that I would really go if I can helped it. And between MOS and ST James, which were the 2 options Jane gave me, I picked ST James. Yep, I know, I am really torned between the 2 places. Both places have different music genres all in one place. But the reason I picked ST James was that I can bring 2 guests in and I think the Boiler Room should stand a chance to win me back to St James… And... More About: Experience , Clubbing , Ames
OWL KEY POUCH FROM TAIWAN
2007-06-10 07:09:00 The AMKSS girls had a meeting on last Friday at Olio, Bishan. Wanted to join Kelly earlier for dinner but i couldn’t free myself earlier until 9pm. This sucks man. I only managed to join the rest of the gang for 30-45 minutes before I rush to St James.. Well, though it was short, I pretty much enjoyed the presence of chilling out together, especially while talking about the “happenings” of the guys whom we know. LOL. Then we were wondering if they would gather and talk about us the same way… Kelly, Sinling, Jane and Khim just came back from Taiwan trip and got me an Owl key pouch which is really cute! You can carry it like a handy-dandy pouch or just keep it inside your bag. The material is really soft and nice to touch. =) And a handphone chain. which I cannot seem to get it fixed on to my phone yet. =( width=300 height=200 alt="" /> And a sticker for our EZlink card for my sister! width=300 height=200 alt="" /> Love my friends…. 2007-06-03 11:25:00 Yesterday, after fighting some monsters in Conquer (Yes I am now a level 80 Fire Wizard! WHoohoo! Please see pic above) I picked up Kit and Steven and headed to Raffles City. But it was nice to see Bryan, Ivan, Farah, Huay Ling, Emilin, Sheila, Carol, San san, Jocelyn, one of the twin sisters.. We bought 12 daisys for the performers but Ivan went off fast. Happy Holiday: Vesak Day
More articles from this author:2007-05-31 17:21:00 I never really noticed what public holiday it is really as I get older. It only means a day of rest to me. Not until this morning, I knew that it is Vesak Day. Last night after the dinner at Parkroyal hotel, I headed to DoubleO to meet Kit and Joanne. Dance until sweating…and as usual the ever lasting Ms Duracell operated dancer, Kit is never tired unless we called for a break. Ladies night basically means free entry and free drinks.
