Another change

Here goes a quick update.Paradise lost were amazing, I love them.Type O Negative not so :P.I'm painting my room purple this weekend.I also, kind of, moved into my brother's (our dad's actually) place.It's nice and I think it was about time.Big advantage? No rent :DThe fact that I'll be living with my brother doesn't change the fact that my room at my mother's place needs painting. I will decorate it and I will make it as pretty as I can, since I'll be spenting lots of my time here as well.:)

Goodmorning all. Today as I was having (still am actually) breakfast I decided to "steal" the "What am I doing" widget from P i N K S T E R Z i S M E hehe :)I've missed Photosho p .I haven't done anything in a while. Only yesterday I used it a bit to show to the girl that sits next to me at work, how I can remove black circles and spots and in general a tired face, and transform it into a beatifull one. I'm not saying that we are not beautifull. It's just that there are times (many times) that we are sooo tired and of course that reflects to our face.So here I am to make it all well again :D. She really liked my work and she said "I have some pictures of me, can you do this?" hehe of course I replied :)Morgania is happy when she is working in Photoshop. :)I'm sensing a photoblogging frenzy to be coming soon.

Talking about your problems, or in this case writing, can be a great help for your inner calmness.Let?s see. So yes it?s nagging time again. I want to nag, but there are so many things to nag that I honestly don?t know where to start.My mother? My financial situation (duh)? My friend who has problems of her own and wants a shoulder to cry? That?s fine but there is a limit to it.My main problem is that I want some quality time for myself, either that is me playing WoW or watching a film or series, or simply browsing on the internet. I want to do something without any interruption. Can I do that?Apparently not. And then, there are parents. I don?t care what my mother thinks for some matters. My new job is so great. I don't want to jinx it, but I've been working there for about a month and everything is just perfect and I have no regrets of quitting my previous one. Everyone at my new job is excellent, the job itself is what I could describe as ideal so *knock on wood* this must be my dream job.However, it's only part time, which means the money isn't that much but are sufficient and just about enough to prevent me from starving :DI'm really hoping for a full time opening there. But if it doesn't come it's ok. At least I will get to do what I like for a few hours and maybe I could find something else to do as an extra, to gain some more money.Ah, have I mentioned the heat here? No, I haven't but if you (non-Greeks) read any international news you'll be aware of the heat waves here in the Balkans. It's so hot that we have all become somekind of lunatics :PMy brain is actually melting.

So it appears that these guys there at the other job have been actually waiting for me!Hehe, which is great news of course!Let me explain things a bit more. My boyfriend's brother works there and he told them he knows someone (me) with the qualifications they want, so it was something like a done deal. But I didn't know it until the very end.So I'm now officially a member of their team! :) It's a web development company and they need extra hands. I'm not on the creative department, I'm going to work there 5 hours a day with a very nice salary for that amount of working hours.Mostly my tasks are simple, meaning, they require standard knowledge of HTML and ability to read code and tags in order to make alterations.Bottom line, easy task! :)In other news, I already told my boss in my current job that I'm quitting.I don't like the job, I like the people here though (not the boss) but not the job itself.What appeared to be a really nice carreer opportunity turned out to be a disa...

... I kind of have a job interview on thursday...cross fingers.Also html related.What can I say, I'm not a sales person. Am I too picky in jobs? Could be, but if you aren't happy with your job, from the first couple of months, imagine how it would be in the first couple of years.Details on the current job and on the future-to-be (may it be please) soon :)

Not a dream after all...

...which is not a surprise actually. I'm referring to my job. Maybe it isn't my dream job after all.When you first go to a working place you are enthusiastic about the whole new environment and the fact that you get to see new people can be intriguing. And that's true, at least in my case. However as time passes by, the initial enthusiasm fades away and more down-to-earth things (like routine, yes it's striked me that early) come into the scenery.Routine is inevitable I guess. But so soon? In a month's time?Nah I don't think so. My guess is that I'm feeling disappointed by the job because it's not what it appeared to be -or what I thought it would be- in the first place.But is this the real case or am I getting bored too easily in life? If that is the deal with me, well that's not good.Would I feel the same if my colleagues were different? Don't know.Do I like the sales area? No, not at all. But I thought it wouldn't be just sales.It would be something more of an Internet...

I counted them yesterday and I have 8. Or at least 8 are the ones that I can remember.2 yahoo2 hotmail2 gmail2 from other ISPs....I didn't ask for all of them but I tend to use each one for certain purposes.I think I could do just fine with 3.One for business things, one for casual things and one for those who ask my email but I don't really want them to know my "good" email :). I'm not sure if the last one makes any sense to you.They are usually those that tend to send tons and tons of forwarding and chain emails.Some of those emails are funny though, but after a certain point they become tooooo manyyy!! Annoyingly many!

I miss blogging. I love writing, I really do, and I love communicating with people via their blogs.So I'll try and sneak time while I'm at work. I hope I don't get in trouble :P lol.So, work is going great. Of course I'm a total newbie here :) but I'm catching on. My colleagues are very friendly and they have helped me a lot. Of course they still do, because I constantly ask questions. I hope things will stay the same. The "friendliness" I mean :)Other than that, I've been in to an e-bay frenzy. No I don't have enough money just yet.I have to pay my car's installment this week, my credit card and phone bill is on its way.I just had to buy a few stuff though, clothes as well, cause now that I'm 12 kilos lighter, my old clothes don't fit. Goodbye large, hello small size!! :DOh, and now that I remembered, I still haven't changed my layout. I guess it'll stay that way for quite some time :POh busy time coming up. Off I go.

Oh my god, I've been so busy I haven't found the time to update my blog.And not that I've been working 24/7, it's just that I need to adjust to my new schedule.I even haven't got the time to play at all (yes, if I haven't mentioned that before, I'm a proud gamer :) ). Anyway, let me tell you few things about the job.Firstly, I would like to say that....Yes!! Busy busy daysFor the past few days I?ve been drowning into depressionHaven?t heard anything from any employer, I?ve sent a million (ok not a million but many) CVs and all I want is just one job.This morning, as usual, I went to the local store and I bought today?s newspaper with lots of job advertisements.I didn?t find anything good actually, so I felt depressed again.But I looked however on the real estate ads to see what?s going on in the ?rent a house? area.I found couple of really interesting ones but I felt depressed again since I have no income :( and of course I can?t afford a rent right now.Anyway, I talked with my cousin, told him my problems(including some more things so after that he said ?are you that desperate?? ?yes I am? Companies that lie to hire.

It?s funny what some people call ?advertising? or ?campaign? or ?marketing? in general.So this company called me and asked me to show up at their quarters for an interview. According to what they were saying it is an advertising/marketing company that specializes in BTL (below the line) methods.Maybe I?m not aware of how these things work but to me marketing or advertising is quite far from going door to door, knocking and ringing people?s doorbells to ?inform them about the new offerings of the certain telephone company?. To me this is door to door sales. I don?t know the exact English word (pardon me for that) but this isn?t advertising. Not to me.So, anyway, they said come tomorrow to give you an orientation of what we do and if please dress business-like.So I put on heels. For what? For going to this area along with this other dude, walking all these blocks and ring doorbells, in the middle of the noon where most people sleep or have lunch.I, myself, don?t even bother to answe...

Job Interview part 2

Today I went for the job interview I was telling you about.The position is in an advertising company. It's not a huge but it has few big customers.So anyway, the interview went really well, I mean I felt good with the questions and answers. I'm very realistic and I'm not just saying that. What I want to say is that deep down we can evaluate ourselves in situations like these. At least we can. How they will evaluate us, that's a whole different story. Probably there would be others that did much better than I did.Bottom line, I didn't embarrass myself :D lol.So anyhoo, here comes the bad part. They want us, all candidates, to go there tomorrow for an ?evaluation? of some sort. They will tell us about how the company works, how they deal with customer cases...well something like a seminar. After that they will test us and then there will be a second interview.My god, that is so nerve breaking. We also need to dress business-like (nothing too formal) and have a notepad with us.And...

Well what do you know?I received a call today for an interview!!!YAY!!!No matter how great news this is, I'm a bit scared and nervous, hehe.How couldn't I be? Yesterday I did some progress with the job hunting. Meaning that I send some CVs, along with nice cover letter, and now I can only hope for the best.However, in the 2 ads, I did the mistake of sending them my old CV which didn?t include my previous job *sigh*But anyway, I marked 2 more potential future jobs and this time I?m going to send them the correct one.Also, I called to this lady, where she was looking for typists. She said she?ll call me from Monday but she sounded that she?ll call me to actually give me some work and not just for an interview.I?m a touch typist and pretty fast so I?m going to be good at it ;)In some other news, I?m thinking of changing the blogs style a bit. Pink is lovely, I adore it, but it?s this template is amongst the premade from blogger. Nothing wrong with that but I would like something with a more personal touch. Today I played around with PhotoImpact a bit. Unfortunatelly since my laptop is recently formatted, I haven't gotten a chance to reinstall all my Photo editing program resources, like brushes and textures, that I use for making artistic things. In other words, I just fooled around with just a bit of blur and colour hue/saturation.So anyway, here's a close up of me (photo taken by my sis)Aaand taarraaaaa -taraaaaaa, finally, Lion -O, my precious car. Yes it's dirty I know but, while playing with colour manipulation in PhotoImpact, look what I got. A purple-ish car. How cool would that be if this was the colour of my car, for real!

Today me and little John went for a job interview. But wait, you need to learn the whole story.First of all, who is little John. So here is my list, according to my personal experience, about the things you can do and enjoy when you are not working.1. Sleep2. Not get stuck in traffic. Major advantage!!3. Stay up late at night without thinking ?man, I'll be a wreck tomorrow at work?4. Spend more time with your friends (especially if they don't work too because they are students, like most of my friend).5. Stay all day in your pajamas, in front of your computer, blogging or simply doing nothing but endless browsing.6. Have breakfast in bed. However, that requires you to make your own breakfast, but since you are not working there is no rush, you can make breakfast and get back to bed, grab your laptop and enjoy your coffee or juice or milk or tea or anything you like, in bed, while surfing.7. This is the personal blog of me. I'm Morgania and I have one favour to ask you. Please help me keep my stuff :(You see, I'm unemployed, meaning that I have no money.
