For those of you who still read our blog (by this I mean normally through our main URL and not feeds) then you probably would have noticed quite a lot of changes, for now the one thing my Fiance and I can seem to agree on is we both like this theme and style and I think we will be keeping with this one for awhile until Wordpress.com have ironed some minor layout issues with the main header displaying in an Internet Explorer 6.x window. There’s even a post about it on Wordpress.com forum; October 8th, 2006 at 6:20 am rant-inc There seems to be a problem with the header links in IE6. The links end up on a second row below the blog title as opposed to the right side of the blog title. So we are getting married as a previous post has said. Well now is the hard part. Actually organising this thing. First up is the venue. Sounds easy doesn’t it? Well it’s far from it. You need the location to be right, close to where the ceremony is going to be, catering has to be good, dance floor size, and the most important…..COST. Take Taronga Zoo Function Centre. For the standard food and alcohol it’s going to cost you $150 per head. Government House will set you back $500 per head. Quay Retaurant will set you back $250 a head. Then you have Strathfield Golf Club. That will set you back a measly $50 a head for a full seafood dinner and about $2000 for alcohol for 100 people. (more…)
