When I watched it, there were 8 people including me:- Lionel, Alex, Rex, Imelda, Sharon, Abel, & Elizabeth (who took Kyle's place since he couldn't make it).Speaking of Kyle, he has stuff to do back in Canada, so he left last week. He's hoping to come back as soon as he can. There was quite a send off crew for him at the airport. There was the usual photo taking (minus Sarah, cause she left early), but the weird thing is, Kyle took the photos and didn't want to be in any of 'em.Well, there's nothing like somebody flying off without some troublesome thing happening. I even had to make a tough decision of not to make an advance booking on the final Harry Potter book out this month. Last Monday, I totally botched up an interview. How bad was it? The night he came back, a few of us had a yam cha session over at Damai. Ian also showed me his new tech gadget. Nice!!Ian's new toy - The Nokia 7390. Love it!It was only recently that I've found out that CCCF or Calvary Christian Campus Fellowship is no longer part of our church. (And all this time I honestly thought that they were on their uni break!) They've separated and now call themselves Emmanuel Christian Fellowship or e-CF. It's sad, nevertheless... Of Road Trips & Creepy Tales
2007-06-01 14:49:00 Whee... Tired!!!I just came back yesterday from an overnight trip to Kundasang, specially for some friends of mine who were celebrating a very "special occasion". Muahaha. ^.^ Anyway, my heartiest congratulations to them, especially since by the time we arrived at Kinabalu Pine Resort, the luncheon had just ended! T_TWe stayed overnight at a pretty nice place. Russell & his girlfriend were there with us for a while before they left back for KK. Nevertheless, everyone pretty much just lazed around, doing our own thing for the next few hours. I had fun just basking in the cold & taking in the view. I managed to send a two pages long SMS to Roy, but as expected, he didn't reply.Rex & Imelda called for us around 8pm for dinner. Unfortunately, a mishap happened first, which involved the Proton & the steep road. Luckily, the guys managed to fix things without any serious damage... I think. At some point, I was even seriously considering walking out of the cinema. Let's just say it was too violent & gross for words. Bored Out Of My Mind

Not my big day, but for certain people. Alex is apparently going, & so is his father. As for myself, I'm not sure if I'm gonna go.Being on my own has made me consider the thought of going back to Labuan for a few days. After all, why not? I miss home. I miss my parents. Flat Out Tired

The funny thing is, I didn't manage to get what I really wanted to buy, but I found all the things I needed to get my room into order. And it was late when I finally got home, but I was full of enthusiasm for my new project, so... I only slept at 4am. (The day before that, I slept at 5am)Yes, very stupid of me.I practically had to force myself to wake up at 9.10am for church. And all the while before Rex called, saying he'll be at the apartment in about 5 minutes' time, I was hoping inside that he would have forgotten to pick me up, so I needn't have to go to church. Wishful thinking, of course.Things didn't improve when I got to church. I seriously felt like doozing off the entire time, but it's impossible when you're sitting in one of the first few front rows. 2007-05-20 12:59:00 Watched Next today with Rex, Imelda, Alex, Leon, Casey, & Daniel. The movie was not too bad, and the cinema was so-so after my initial lack of enthusiasm for the location. The ending was kind of frustrating, though. Should we anticipate a sequel???Anyway... The most terrible thing happened. I infected Alex's laptop with a virus. But the funny thing is, the only virus (RavMon) which I knew I might have on my pendrive was not THAT bad till it messes up your PC! The worst thing that could happen is that it would slow down your PC... That's it. Alex said that the virus he detected was a different one. In any case, I'm trying my best here to get it fixed. *Tears*On a totally different subject, I found this site which offers downloads for Christian music. The only downside? The computer at the cyber cafe caused a malfunction to my mp3 player! x_x So even though the songs couldn't be detected, they were still there. I had to re-format the player, and re-download the whole album. Luckily, the rest of the songs that I had were okay. They'd better be!!I read in the newspaper today about a cult that calls themselves Growing In Grace. What was scary about the article was about how this man (the so-called founder) believes that he is the second manifestation of Christ on earth. Morever, evangelists from Assemblies Of God churches, and even other prominent people in the Roman Catholic church have joined the cult.I did a bit of research on the net, so check out this link if you're interested to find out more. Unconventional Neighbours
2007-04-22 09:11:00 I got mad at my upstairs neighbour again last night. I didn't scream in her face or anything, but I muttered out some unflattering words when she hanged up her clothes without draining them of the excess water (something she ALWAYS does), which naturally dripped onto my clothes which were hanging below. And might I add that they were dry! I don't know if she heard me though.Another problem that she has been causing is that she turns on her air-con almost everytime that she's in the apartment, day or night. It's none of my business, yes, but you betcha yesiree it is when it's leaking onto my bedroom wall! And yes, it's bad! It's been going on for awhile, but I still haven't mustered up the guts yet to talk to her about it (call me chicken, but hey, it was only recently that we confirmed that it's a she, and a nurse at that!). Feeling Unwanted
2007-04-02 18:40:00 It gets so hard at times. But I'm trying to get over it, by reminding myself of the friends that I do have, no matter how small in number. They are the ones who stick by me of their own choice, and you have to give them credit for that, for I am notoriously "hard-to-get-along-with" or so I heard.I still can't believe that Leon is gone. And to think that I wouldn't even have known if I didn't hear my Mom talking about it to my aunt. He was such a jovial person, full of life, friendly even to those who he hardly knows. Life is so fleeting. It made me realize the seriousness of letting people know how much you care because you'll never know if that'll be the last time that you'll talk to them.Now, keeping in mind of my vow to appreciate them, almost all my friends are currently undergoing problems of their own. 2006-12-02 15:34:05 After much deliberation between me & Rex, we finally decided to have the dinner at good old Pizza Hut instead of Little Italy. We had a good reason, which shall be revealed soon, so bear with me here. =^^=Dinner was a merry thing, with Lionel getting birthday gifts in the form of a t-shirt from Abraham & Amoz, and (get this!) a fluffy pig from Hannah & Sara! (Does that make you jealous, Roy? *Hehe*) The others who were there was Alex, Rex, & Imelda. Between all of us, we consumed one pasta, twelve breadsticks, one salad, ten mushroom soups, two spicy thai tuna rolls, two jugs of soft drinks, & four pizza's!And after the dinner we...Hit the go-kart tracks! Whoo hoo! There were many first timers among us, which was evident once they got behind the wheel and by their reactions when they got onto the track.
