Signed up for the Impact Generation camp today. For our church so far, it's only me and Joy who's going. (To Alex & Ian, make up yer mind, quick!! ^.^) I was supposed to get it done yesterday, but I woke up late!! The same thing happened today, but I HAVE to do it, cause if I don't, Joy would kill me if we missed the early bird fee. x_xFor those who want to go, I have five empty forms with me. Bear in mind though, you've missed the early bird fee, and now you've got to pay RM100. You can still think it over- the sign up date ends on the week before the camp. How do I know? I asked. Watched two movies today. The last time I did so, was when Eric was here. Now, on to my usual short reviews...Alex Rider: Operation StormbreakerWith who? Me, Lionel, Sara & AbelIn a gist: Good... Only for the first 15 minutes! Then it got boring. The only saving grace was... Hmmm, no one, really. But I did like Alex Pettyfer's voice. And he's cute, y'all! But don't expect him to return for the sequel, though. Overall review, don't even think of watching this. Just read the book!World Trade CenterWith who? Ok, imagine the three of us, namely me, Hannah, & Abraham stuck in a saloon for half a day, so naturally, you'd think we'd (or maybe it's more on those two) would come out with great looking hair that catches the attention of everyone who encounters them? Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.I really wanted to get my hair highlighted. But I didn't see the point in doing so because of the poor state my hair is in. Plus, I'm more keen on having my hair rebonded. But due to the wise advice of friends, I decided to take a raincheck. However... and you'd better believe it, I am oh-so-glad I listened.Being the first to finish, cause all I did was have a hair treatment, I flitted around the saloon, watching as they attended to Hannah & Abraham. Hannah took around two hours. The end result? Only a few measly strips of colour which can't really be seen and her purse (or shall I say Abraham's wallet) became RM45 lighter. Felt like throwing up (or in other words, nausea) the moment I woke up this morning. I decided to try and sleep it off. Luckily, I felt better around 9.30am or so. Honestly, my lack of sleep this week has lowered my immune system and made even more horrible to be around with. I'm irritated easily and not much up for social situations.Anyway, today Rosalind taught me the ropes on making the youth bulletin. I'm still shocked that I was the one she approached, out of everyone else, to help her with it. That said, I did ask her about it and she told me I'm not the first person she asked. *Haha*My schedule's gonna be pretty packed now, now that I have obligations which I simply must attend to. There goes my carefree days. I'm still having trouble adjusting. ::Sigh:: In any case, it makes me look forward more to the time when I'll be going to Penang & KL in January next year. Woo hoo! Can't hardly wait! ^.^

Chock this up as another failed movie attempt. The cinema that they were showing Happy Feet had busted speakers, so there wouldn't be any surround sound, go figure. Which reminds me why I never go to Golden Screen Cinemas anymore. In any case, since I've already seen the movie & couldn't care less, the decision was up to Rosalind, Nelson, & Amoz. Naturally, they decided to take a raincheck.We ended up at Central Plaza, drinking juice & gossiping, talking about our parent's fashion fads in the old days, even on the subject of musical instruments. Why the funny post title? FYI, I don't really swear. But if I did, I would have by now. The PC that I was previously using is definitely infected with a virus. And my precious mp3 player was plugged into it! Darn it! I couldn't even type in or try to access any site that offers anti-virus downloads, cause the page would magically, automatically, close by itself! How did things end up this way, you ask? Well... The PC I'd normally use was otherwise occupied, so I choose that one randomly... Which, unfortunately for me, wasn't very wise! But I'm thankful because the cyber cafe's emptying out, and I managed to switch to my usual PC of choice. A quick check confirmed my worst suspicions. It still hurts at times. Sometimes I find myself hoping to find that things aren't the way they are right now, that it was all just something I imagined. I wish things were back to the way they were before. But things change, people change, and I have to face the fact that they always will, so I have to get over it. That's life. But I still wish things could be different, ya know? Thus hence...God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. Amen.

Genesis is back in Sabah. It was meant to be a surprise, but someone accidentally let the cat out of the bag to a few people. *Hehe*Today quite a number of us gathered after church at Rex's place to watch this year's DVD recording of Zion's Search For A Star. But before that, we had a funny and interesting trip around Karamunsing helping Hannah to look for a present for Keith. Did she find anything? No, but we found a number of funny t-shirts. Too bad no one had a camera. x_xAnyway, imagine Rex's living room, packed with fourteen people!  Sorry for the abrupt end to my last entry... The guys decided to leave early, and I was sort of caught unawares. Got a few precious minutes online to spare here. Been doing oh so much thinking for this past week, my head's spinning. I have so much on my mind, and what's so depressing is, I keep trying to find the answers but still end up nowhere. Keep ending up where I was in the beginning, actually. Holy hell! I've really been busy lately, and my absence from the world of the internet is also partially because of the guys, who got off fragging... Until to tonight. They couldn't resist the call of Warcraft... *Hehe*I got a job offer from Nestle today... Yeah, THAT Nestle... And since I haven't started my practical yet... Yup, sad to say, I still can't make up my mind... Back to Nestle, the offer is quite good, (so's the pay) *Haha* Basically what we're required to do is complete a census. The job length is probably for two to three months, or maybe more, depending on how fast & well we do the job. Today's not bad, most people were busy settling in, getting to know each other, and the younger ones were enjoying the freedom of not having their parents around. # Day 1 @Camp Got up early... Got a bit rattled when I woke Lionel up, he went like 'ok', then closed his room door and most likely went back to sleep again. And I thought we were going earlier to enjoy the peace before the hoards riding the bus arrive? Anyway, as a result of my getting up early & nagging for them to get up & cracking, I was teased the whole day, about being 'excited' for the whole thing... *Hehe*... There. I'm finally calm after ranting about the stuff usually channel owners on Irc always encounter.I'm actually surprised that I managed even to come online today, we've already been out the whole day, the morning was spent at Rosie's house, packing up stuff for youth camp. The afternoon was spent shopping, then it was around evening when we returned to the apartment for a rest before dinner. Layout has been changed. Yay!Actually, what happened was, I was feeling very insecure & miffed just now, and so... Yeah, it conspired that'll I spend the rest of my afternoon, releasing all the stress & tension by working on my site. I was mad because when we went for lunch just now, two of the waitresses over at that establishment made the biggest goof-ups. Mistake 1, she forgot my order, and I was actually the second person to ask for a drink. Not one even asked when all of the rest were being served, or have been served their drinks. Mistake 2, after waiting for awhile, I asked one of the other waitresses and she just stared at me, then ignored my request and went on doing other work instead. Hey hey, I'm in Labuan now!Heck, I know it's only a 3 days, 2 nights trip, but I'm just happy to be back, and be able to grab all the stuff I need for camp. I'm awfully sad that I'll be missing the briefing tonight during the usual youth gathering every Saturday, and I didn't go last week too! Awww... Shucks. I hate this. Wow. Like, how long has it been? My life during the weekends have been pretty hectic lately, and my weekdays are way boring as the rest are working. Been amusing myself by playing Diablo. Can't wait till camp is over and done with, then I can get crackin' on my practical. Aww jeez!~ I came online after a very satisfying weekend (though not entirely to my taste, but it could have gone better), to find the css file hosted over at Angelfire not working. And I'm like, what the??? ::Insert swear word::I think I've fixed it, it's now using my Bravenet account, which, I hope dear God, is more reliable. All the text and everything else was pretty screwed up, except the background. For this week, on Tuesday, my mom came back from her pilgrimage to Europe, and on the same day I experienced a very bad case of nausea. Proud to say I've finally fixed up the personal site & my other blog. Yay!I just popped down over to the cybercafe nearby my place on an impluse today, and right now, my ears feel blocked, and my nose is still... Well... pretty much the same. I still don't dare to go down town on my own, I'm scared that it might get worse. Today, later anyways, the guys will be popping over for a so-called 'lan party'. That's where they bring on over all their pc's from home, connect them together though a server or is it a hub? They play the usual games usually played at cybercafes. Ooh... I'm sick. Or most likely, the next contender to be sick. I'm already down with flu, & the sore throat that started it all seems to be half-there, half-gone. Don't know where I picked it up from, it just happened on Wednesday night. Speaking of Wednesday night... Azmie called. He didn't really get straight to the point of why he called, and honestly, I'm still a bit miffed over him not replying my sms, although I already know what he's like in Labuan, which is the same as me actually. What I do is leave my phone in my room, while I hang out in the pc room or the living room watching TV. Hence, most phone calls or sms-es are left unattended until... Well, until I go up to my room, that is, if I have the credit to reply back.In Azmie's case, he doesn't even bother to answer his phone, usually his hands will be tied up with his ps2. Apparently, his parents have insisted him to do his practical, and (most likely) work in KK after that. He probably was waiting for me to end...

Most likely the bill we've racked up today will be big. In fact, I won't be surprised if we're charged something around RM15 later. I think later it'll be straight to dream-land for me when we get back. If we do, that is. And Russell actually has to work tomorrow, I wonder if he's forgotten about it. Well, today there's the bowling tournament for the youth from my bro's church. *Hehe* The last time I went, I played. I tied with another girl, and got a free meal voucher for KFC. I am so sorry, I know I promised a lot of things when I'm in Labuan, but I'm having a lot of problems with Geocities & Blogger. The first layout I planned for this blog didn't work, since it's in iframes, and yeah, I don't have any time to configure it as it is. I just gave up & choose another, it's not like I'm not spoilt for choice here, alright? But it is a pity. Eagerly awaiting Garfield : The Movie , but somehow.... I dunno, I seem to have a bad feeling about it. Loads of new movies are already out, or are on the way. Spiderman 2 will be out in June. I still haven't watched Passion Of The Christ directed by the one and only, Mel Gibson. Also on my list is Along Came Polly & 50 First Dates. I should have taken pictures during Rosie's birthday party & the Pulau Manukan trip. I'll try to completely fullfill my blog promises when I'm in Labuan.
