If you read my tagged post recently, one of my wish if I'm a millionaire is to get myself a private music teacher to teach me how to play the piano.Well, I don't have to be a millionaire to achieve that now.Being someone who never know how the piano works, I learned two simple songs in one night, 'Mary Had A Little Lamb' and 'Do Re Mi'. And guess what? I experimented 'Mary Had A Little Lamb' with the slow rock beat while 'Do Re Mi' with Mambo beat and they worked. Getting a tattoo in my 30s

Nothing to shout about it.It's just a revelation of something about me that a lot of people including some close friends and family members(except my sister) who doesn't know the fact that I actually have a tattoo.I had an 'om' on my right arm a couple of months ago at Dragonfly, the Curve. While some friends advised me to go for the better local tattoo artists in Kuala Lumpur, I chose to have it here instead.And the result was rather satisfying although I haven't complete the colouring process yet. At first I wanted a shaded 'om' but later I decided to have it coloured all black on the second visit as it was nearly 10 p.m.The tattoo artist is Helen. It was supposed to be my plan to attend Thailand Open to watch my tennis idol, Rafael Nadal , in action. However, due to his presence in the upcoming Malaysia Independence Tennis Festival, I decided to called off the trip to Bangkok and watch in Malaysia instead. And so my decision is right because Nadal just withdrew himself from the tournament.I already doubt if I should attend Thailand Open because I knew chances are Nadal is going to injure himself by the second half of the year. Sometimes I would listen to friends or loved ones complaining about their colleagues or bosses. Well, so far I'm a bit lucky for I've never seen / involved in any office politics or encountered any colleagues who pissed me off. Through my working life, I should say that I'm lucky enough to meet a lot of nice people. It is also my principle to be nice to the people around me.In my last trip back to Kuantan, together with some friends, we had coffee with my best friend's uncle who shared with us the principles behind The Golden Rule and The Platinum Rule. The Golden Rule states that "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." This statement basically translated that says to treat others the way you would like to be treated.On the other hand, The Platinum Rule says that "Treat others the way they want to be treated", which is even tougher to achieve. Khyentse Rinpoche and his latest book

Recently I had a chance to attend a dharma talk by Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche, who is better known as Khyentse Norbu in the film industry for his works like The Cup and Travellers and Magician.After a few days in Kuantan, he came to Petaling Jaya and gave a short talk that touches on the basic of meditation and the benefits of well wishes for the people around us.It was a rush evening but I was glad to finally meet up with Rinpoche after so many years. Rinpoche just published a book called, What Makes You Not A Buddhist, and we managed to get hold of the book and got his signature. I've only finished the first two chapters and hopefully I'll be able to read more today. Will share some of the content from the book once I've finished reading the book.

Okay, I have been missing for too long this time. Guys, thank you for still checking out my blog to see if I'm still updating my blog. Yes, I'm busy with work and a new relationship I barely have time to blog anymore. A typical Piscean, that's who I am. Whenever there are new happenings in my life, I'll be totally into it and neglecting everything else.Recently I was in Gent ing for two days because my friends and I had a free room at First World Hotel . Speaking about the hotel, we usually imagine a small crampy room. And so we went there without any expectation that our room is going to be the most expensive room in First World Hotel, the WorldClub room. The morning breakfast for WorldClub residence is at the top floor of the hotel with a magnificent view (sorry didn't take any picture) and away from the usually crowd.

Actually I always wanted to share about the above topic but each time I tend to forget about it. While having lunch with my colleagues the other day, they asked me why I always chose the same type of food: sambal petai and udang, kari ayam and a telur goreng. For the past two months, we went to the same restaurant (although not everyday) and I've been taking the same menu without realizing that!And the other day while listening songs from my laptop, my sister complained because I've been listening to John Legend's songs over and over again without realizing it. These are just two examples.Now, guess which sports player who's even worse than me? Yes, you are right! Nadal has some of the most obsessive compulsive habits.
