Enemies and coins
2007-04-05 19:54:00 Here's something worth thinking about. Imagine a piggy bank. This piggy bank is filled with coins. Almost like a piƱata. Let's say they're gold coins, too. Y'know, just to make things a bit more interesting. So, we have this piggy bank filled with coins, and now imagine that all of a sudden, it starts to move! All on its own! It starts moving, and it starts interacting with its environment. You take the nearest weapon and destroy it. Or you jump on top of it to destroy it. You do something to it and essentially break it. Then all the coins that was inside it fly out and instantaneously you're that much richer.Video games think that's real life. Enemies everywhere are filled with coins, and if you manage to kill them, that money spews out of them and you're instantly wealthier. How handy. It happens in all kinds of games. More articles from this author:2007-04-05 16:13:00 I haven't done many posts here regarding my personal thoughts about issues in the world, or even little issues that aren't as worldly, but still make noticeable appearances in my head. I do think a lot. I'm a bit of a thinker. That may be one reason for my anxiety issues as I tend to over think some things. But because of my constantly active mind, I don't mind writing some of this down for you. So here's today's thought.I have noticed on TV recently that there will be a show about the Columbine massacre and a discussion about this topic. I can't recall the channel or when it will appear, but that's not really of issue right now. Normally I wouldn't mind it. Actually, I like shows like this because I feel it gives insight to what some people are thinking (in this case, both in and out of the school), and I tend to like to be informed about major issues, because you never know when information like this could come in handy.But really, that's all just an aside to the...
