Bad Logos
2007-12-18 07:34:00 Many company logos that we see in our everyday lives are pretty clever and innovative. Some are really good but some are bad. Even Kenny Sia did a review on a bad logo in his previous blog entry. I came across these logos through my recent email. Wow…talk about bad logo. Check `em out. Err…up your @$$ What style? Kids go here for…? Don’t send your kids here. Open wide…! ?!?! Pissed off with your PC? Ok. I guess whoever did the logo is trying to be creative. Oooh…my aching leg…and arm.
2007-12-06 07:18:00 It has been almost 4 years since I last threw a bowling ball. My hands and fingers are no longer disfigured like how it used to. It is more human now than when I was in the national team. THAT’s why it is so painful to start again. With the aching back and arm and legs, followed by a sore thumb and fingers, I never knew bowling would be so painful. I lost all my bowling balls, all 8 of `em. Ok, that’s not right. Who in the right mind to think that an ex-national bowler owns only 8 bowling balls kan? I do have lots of other bowling balls in the store back in my parents place in Klang. But ALL of them are 16 pounds and I don’t think I can carry that weight anymore. Luckily, I found one 14 pounded ball when I was rummaging through some of the (very) old bowling balls. Imagine, if I hadn’t found that 14 pounder and had to use the 16 pounded ones, I think I would’ve broken my fingers already.I’m now bowling in a weekly league in One Utama every Monday nights. Happy Birthday Fly FM
2007-11-30 08:46:00 Last Saturday was the FlyFM’s 2nd Fly-nniversary celebration and they hosted us a really good party. I wouldn’t say great or awesome but it was just good. The event started around noon, but I wasn’t able to make to the day event coz I was quite busy. But the real party starts at night, around 8pm. Many local artists performs at the concert. The ones that I remembered was Dina, James Baum, Ahli Fiqir, Hujan and Meet Uncle Hussein. Well, the main reason Geena and I went to the concert was to watch Meet Uncle Hussein singing their theme song from Kami the TV series. The crowd was huge. Most of them were teenagers (obviously). I just hope that no one gets injured with all the stuffs being thrown all over the crowd. The FlyFM DJs were handing out (more like throwing out) goodies like free t-shirts and CDs. Yes, you heard me, Facebook. For the past weeks, months, I have been online in Facebook every single day, without fail. Purdey have the same addiction too, so she says. I noticed that her blog site is kinda obsolete too. I totally understand how she feels. Actually, I have nothing to blog about really, hence this rather stupid blog entry only with the intention to keep my site updated. This is because most of the local TV dramas are not up to standard where I can express my appreciation for a job well done. However, one new local drama caught my attention. “Kami ” went on air on since 5th September 2007, and I never miss any of it. Kami caught the local TV by storm and gained popularity since the first episode. I fell in love with it too. To me, it is “the” best local drama so far. In another word, Kami rocks!… big time! Kami is an eight episode TV series where the 8th episode will be halted abruptly and left “hanging” without an ending. Kami The Movie will be released in cinemas sometime in 2008 to complete the story. I think it’s a good gimmick to gained popularity through the silver screen, leaving it hanging and then to finish it as a film. Well, I know I will not miss the movie. Then it is confirmed that it’s only 3 days to go till Raya. *sigh* Have anyone noticed that Raya comes early this year? It felt like it was only last week when we all started the fasting month. How time flies. In a few days time, it’s Raya and after that it’s back to normal. Times was so much different when I was a kid. Going through a month of fasting felt like eternity, waiting anxiously for Raya days to come. But it was so much fun then. I remember Raya as really Rayaing, celebrating it like a mad person. Maybe because at that time I was still eligible for ang-pows or in this case, cheng-pows (coz it’s green in colour). Yeah, I was really looking forward to that. Now Raya felt like any other day.
