Before I go on, let me fill in some more about some more interesting things which happened in Pune and Kolhapur.PUNE. As you know, Pooja had got me this cool shirt, and I just HAD to give something in return. I thought, lets buy the gift on my own. (!!!) So, when I came to Pune, I called up Deepti, and asked her where exactly should I buy good purses. Earlier, after a long discussion with Puneet, we had decided that a purse was the best thing to give. So, Deepti gave me the location of the shop selling the best leather items... this turned out to be too far off. So, she suggested that I get a cloth purse. The best shop just happened to be right opposite the road, when I was talking to Deepti.Selecting gifts for girls can be tough.I learnt it the hard way. So many purses to choose from, and I have no idea of what is the current fashion trend popular amongst the gals. Well. Final semester, folks... As I might have told you already. The schedule is the most strange thing i have seen coming out. We have periods of time when we don't have ANYTHING to do, followed by spurts of intense hard work, when we have deadlines to meet and presentations to make.Classes last 2 hours usually, and the worst ones go on for 4 hours. I enter a zombie like state sometimes, when I don't like the topic being discussed. Nitu says she does the same, by the way, when accountancy is taught to her. (She is a lawyer - in - the - making)So.. I have not written for close to a month now. Well, the time so far has been used in impulsive trips home, surprising mom by coming in at 0200 hrs, playing games, reading books and listening to music.AND partying. Hard.For example, we spent the new year at PK's farm, and really enjoyed ourselves. Was it cold there. At the Khadakwasla hill top, Trio farms was really good to be in. PK says that he only has guests there on referrals. Woo.A...

The "Roads" of Pune

At this point of time, I need to interrupt my memories of my Summer School at Bremen, and start a commentary on the so called "roads" of Pune .Well, a better title would be "The mystery of the missing roads". I misquote Holmes:What did the government do, Sherlock?My dear Watson, the Government did nothing.Whats so curious about that?The fact that they did not do anything.But, should I expect anything else of a governmet which is historically proven to be so full of crap that it claims that it cannot work in rains. Who are they trying to fool? Technology for use in wet conditions exists. I know of people who claim to earn, or rather, save, on costs, by bidding for road construction and then using spurious material,of maybe skimming the amount of material used to make them.Its totally unprofessional.And they expect big companies to set up shop in Pune. HAH.If this was a professional organisation, the people in charge would be fired and blacklisted. But no, this is not. This is a govern...

Heyyy been a long time since i came online. Exams on you see. well, a few days before, actually 2 weeks before the exam, Pk took some friends out to his farm house. Hired a bus, and we went out for 30 kms somewhere NDA, to his farm. He owns a full hill!! oooooo anyway, its a beautiful piece of scenery. 6 cute cottages, and farmland on the slopes. this was just before the eco presentation i was going to have. so i had taken along my laptop. so had ramu and pk. they had great food. i got some pics, will upload when i get the time and inclination at the same time. ok, gotto go now, will tell u ppl abt my exams later. lots of things have happened since i last came, Dussera, Durga puja, Navratri, EXAMS..... and now we have a camp at Panchgani for 5 days. c ya soon!!!

Ok. Its been a very long time since I last updatd the blog. But what can I do, I place more priority to college. ;) Anyway, some days before y exams started, I decided that theneed of a laptop was paramount. I was in the gym after a week, being sick the past week after getting wet in the rain. I had over excerted myself and was feeling pretty dizzy, with all aching muscles. My dad called that they had dropped everyone at the station and were coming to Pune. I asked them to come directly to college. They came by 1930. I was pretty pooped by then, so I dcided to walk to the hotel where they were having food, a 1 km walk. Thought the air will do me good. Thought wrong. Fortunately my dad came to pick me up anyway. Had got my new tracksuits etc and so I wasn't feeling cold in the weather, which was pretty chilly. Didn't feel like eating anything. Get together

My french class is holding a get together on Sunday. Also we have a cultural event in college tomorrow. Will tell you all what happens tomorrow. Today, We had an aerobics class. This was enjoyable, but not so strenous as running which I go ou with my friends. On average, I have been able to run 7 kms without stopping. LEts see if I can increase my endurance levels. Don't laugh, I used to be a guy who got tired within 100m of jogging. Anyway gotto go now, mess is gonna close soon.

Went to Bomb a y to visit my uncle, aunty and cousin bro and sis. Saw a play for the first time in my life. Nothing great, but I see possibilities of entertainment beyond films. I'm now waiting to o to Pune to join SIIB.
