2007-12-26 02:05:00 That's right, MERRY CHRISTMAS! I said Merry Christmas . No Happy Holidays, or whatever crap people "have to" say now. I believe it's Jesus Christ's birthday, and that's what I'm sticking to. If you don't believe it, then you don't have to listen to it. I hate when it seems like they have taken out some phrases and stuff for some "politically correct" stuff. But damn man, it's too far, it's like taking away our right to say what we believe, or it's not politically correct to wish someone a "Merry Christmas ". That's BS ANYWAY! I liked this Christmas. It's still going, but it was nice. First it was with Maricel early in the week, and we exchanged gifts, and I like my gifts... both are VERY useful. Then it was the C3 Secret Santa gift exchange. Don't Get Batteries from the Dollar Spot at Target
2007-12-24 00:41:00 HAhaha.. I learned my lesson... "You get what you pay for..." It's true. I was going to my cousins' gift exchange Christmas party last night. I needed 4 AA batteries for my camera's EX420 flash. When the batteries are low, the flash takes longer to load up, and get ready for another picture with flash. So my Duracells were running out - it's been about a couple months already. So I needed 4 new AA batteries. I went to Target with Maricel, and I ended up getting 4 "Heavy Duty" Rayovac batteries. Hey! it was at the Dollor Spot , so it's a pretty good deal (i thought). Well, it came time for the party, and I LOVE taking pictures and posting them on pix.firsttogo.com, and my Canon EX420 flash makes a BIG difference with the lighting. I usually use bounce flash. Then I took a couple pictures with the old, dying batteries, for old times sake. Then I replaced them with my fresh new $1 Rayovac batteries. Philippines vs USA (continued)
2007-12-18 08:05:00 ... so there's MORE about the observations I had while in the Philippines . Piolo Pascual was EVERYWHERE! He was on billboards on the side of the buildings, by the streets, in the malls, and almost every advertisement had him, and the shows on Filipino TV had him in it. EVERYWHERE! Also it was funny because as I was going to make an international call, there was a ABS-CBN party going on at the hotel I stayed at - InterContinental, Manila. I was there by the pay phone, and all of a sudden, I see Piolo Pascual there. So random. But he really was everywhere I guess! They have McDonalds! I liked the fact that they had McDonalds! I felt a little closer to home! The funny part is that they call it "McDo" (pronounced "muck-dough" but with a slightly abrupt stop at the end of "dough") It was cool because they had weird stuff on the menu like McSpaghetti. And rice side orders. The portions are very small, but it's still good. I LOVE the chicken in the Philippines - the best...

That Odd Fry
2007-12-15 03:25:00 Today, I was eating at Burger King, and I usually order whatever, and get REGULAR fries. Then every once in a while, you get that "odd fry". You know, it's that fry that is not a regular fry. Sometimes it's a half of an onion ring, or a "seasoned" fry. Sometimes people get excited like they just won a prize! Why!?! What the hell is that?!?! Why do people act like they won something? It just means that they couldn't keep one food away from the other food. It's kind of nasty, if you ask me. If they fail to separate the regular fries from the onion rings, what makes you think they can separate the dirt from the food? Philippines Vs. USA (continued)
2007-12-14 03:52:00 ... so there are even MORE differences that I noticed when I went to the Philippines ... I noticed that a lot of friends, about high school/college age get pretty close. They hold each other, the girls hold hands, and the guys have their arms around other guys sometimes. It's harmless innocent fun. Culture in the US tells us that those people are probably gay. But in the Philippines, it's just friends being friends and having their arm around other people, even the same sex, isn't weird. To me, it seemed kind of weird, but there was nothing gay about it. It's just close friends hanging out. I noticed that it's not as diverse as the USA, of course. I didn't expect it to be. I noticed that the main population is Filipino (of course!), and the next in line seems to be WHITES. There's a lot of middle-aged/old white men roaming around, especially the popular tourist areas. Then sometimes you'd see a BLACK guy. There's a lot of WHITES, and maybe 3 BLACK people I saw....

Slumber Party!
2007-12-10 03:16:00 This weekend, we had a slumber party. It was cool. We just hung out at my aunt's and played games, watched DVDs, and ate. It was cool just being with family and friends and playing Big Brain Academy, Smarty Pants and Rockband. And watching Knocked Up (Unrated) Then in the middle of the night, the baby cries, and I woke up. But it was cool. Playing with the kids, and cousins, and boardgames. Trivial Pursuit 90s was cool! - but then Trivial Pursuit 80s was out of my range. The BBC Documentary about Real Dolls was creepy, and sad. It's Getting Colder
2007-12-05 11:12:00 It was pretty warm today - especially in the car. Then at night, I'm freezing my butt off! What's up with this weather!?!? Oh yeah! It's Christmas! Tonight, after the Laker game, I went to Dallas Street to look at the lights. It's really cool, and elaborately done. My props to them. There were these stupid white punks (about 20-something year olds), and they made a right turn onto Houston, and they skid a little bit. Then, when they passed, I started walking across the street, but then they made a U-Turn to see Dallas St. but their stupid asses didn't slow down. THEY ACTUALLY SPED UP, and drove closer to me! What the hell?!?! I hate when these people with their raised trucks think they own the road! Fucking IDIOTS! They came close enough to me for me to be "shoved" by the air a little bit. I hope your tired explode on the freeway, and you CRASH!!! You don't speed up to run me (a pedestrian) off the road!! You two deserve a big ass sock in the face... and your ... Rip Roar Video Creation
2007-12-04 01:21:00 I was looking through Costco, and seeing what kind of toys kids would like. Then I came across Rip Roar Video Creation Station. That's the COOLEST thing ever! Where was this toy when I was a kid?! I would have made all these weird, cool, random videos! But then I looked at the reviews: This is the worst item. I had high hopes. I wasted four hours just with the software. Even the WEB site indicates people are having issues and so does the outside of the box with a yellow sticker READ FIRST. Never worked on one XP computer. Finally worked (sort of) on the other XP computer, both high end units. It kept lauching Photoshop Elements when you lauched the Creation Station software. Half the time it would fatal error. The camera would freeze. The cable would come loose and launch PS Elements again. The bonus clips were very poor quality. The kids would have hated it and become frustrated. Buy Adobe Premiere Elements, a cheap web camera and a lime green table cloth at the party stor...

Itch on My Leg
2007-11-29 09:58:00 I woke up today, and I had this itch on my calf. Everytime I moved or tried to touch where the itch was coming from, it hurt. It felt like a pin point pain. I thought that maybe something was poking my leg, or that the hair was being pinched, and pulled. I kept trying to see if there's anything on the inside of my pants, but there wasn't. What it ended up being was my PJ pants pulling on my leg hair. There was one hair that happened to have a knot in it. I guess the static and moving around helped knot it up. Then that knot was getting stuck on the pants, and when I move, it would pull on that one hair, but not hard enough to pull it off. It was so painful!
