Pictures Are Up!
2007-07-22 23:17:00
New pictures are up at pix.firsttogo.com. I put up a new layout for it. It scrolls the thumbnails on the top when you do a mouseover or use the scroll bar. The best way to view it is in FULL-SCREEN (right-click, click Full-Screen). When you click on the right side of the picture, you get the next picture, left side you get the previous picture. You can also use the keyboard arrows, or click the thumbnails on the top. It is best to use Internet Explorer 6.0 and above or Mozilla Firefox (with the proper plug-ins). The old album was black and blue. You would click on the album Month, and you would get the thumbnails: 25, 5 rows of 5. Then you would choose the picture and you'd see a big version of the picture. In order to see the next picture, you could click on the left or right of the picture, or click the arrow, or use the keyboard arrows. Please let me know if you like the other one better, or this new one better. Which one is easier for you? Which one gives you a be...

Been Tired
2007-07-22 23:08:00
I've been tired. I don't know why, but I have been tired and exhausted recently. When I say recently, I mean about maybe for the last couple months or so. I graduated already, and I'm doing nothing before I go find an internship and work. All I have really been doing is seeing Maricel, and working on my website, while going to family parties and maybe hanging out with Holly and James. I have been exhausted because I think I have insomnia or something. I can't sleep at night. I go to bed at around 1am, but then I can't get to sleep until 5am or 6am sometimes even 7am. I don't know what to do. I'm lacking energy and I'm just tired and exhausted. I feel like I haven't been able to just sit and rest, even though that's all I've really been doing half the time.

Kalesa Grill and the Pinoy Dream Academy
2007-07-22 05:59:00
On Friday, Maricel, Holly, JR and I went to hang out. We decided to go to the "meet 'n greet" at the Kalesa Grill on Lincoln and Harbor (more like Lemon) and meet Yeng Constantino, Jay-R Siaboc, RJ Jimenez, Luis Manzano, and Ronnie Liang. It was cool. There wasn't a BIG mob there, so it was more chill. There were probably about 20 people when we got there. It was relaxing. We got to talk to them like actual real people, instead of all the "star treatment" stuff. Sometimes celebrities in the United States think they're "too good". At this place, all the Filipino celebrities were very nice and appreciative. Yeng seemed very respectful with her "po"s. I like her. I guess I was wrong about what impression I got from her from unreliable sources. When we first walked in, I just saw some girl in green asking some little girl for her autograph. I then realized that it was Yeng Constantino. She is A LOT smaller than how she looks in her video. But she's very CUTE and NICE....

Cingular Raising the Bar
2007-07-19 09:28:00
AT&T bought Cingular , so now everything is on AT&T's network. They say that they still have the network with the LEAST DROP CALLS. I was thinking if it was true. I think it IS true. At first I was wondering why I get cut off about 10 times a day if I'm at home. The trick is that when you get cut off, it is usually because you lose reception. The thing is that they don't count that as a "dropped call" it's more like a "loss of reception". So then really, AT&T is the network with the LEAST DROP CALLS. "Dropped Calls" would refer to the calls you just don't get or the calls that just cut out with no apparent reason. If you look at your phone after a call and you don't have service or you don't have bars, then that's not a "Dropped Call". The only problem is that you lose reception A LOT. They have a relatively weak network. So when you're getting a lot of calls lost, you're really losing reception. So AT&T/Cingular says "Least Dropped Calls" because that's true....

The Vegas Roundtrip
2007-07-16 11:15:00
Damn the vegas round trip was HARD, but it was still cool! Driving There was hard because I didn't get a lot of sleep all last week. I don't know why, but I don't get much sleep - maybe I'm an insomniac? Driving there was ok, but still hard. I woke up at 3am, then picked up Maricel from Fullerton and headed towards Vega s . She noticed that she ran out of eye drop, so we had to stop by the 24-hour WalMart in Corona. The sky was black, and slowly turning blue at that time around 5am. Then we started the real drive. We stopped by Mad Greek in Baker, California to eat. I was hungry because I didn't eat since 3pm Friday, and it was 7:30am Saturday. The "World Famous Gyros" were VERY GOOD, but a little expensive. $9.95 for one Gyro (yee-roh, as they put it on the menu). It was good. Then we started to go back on the road. It was starting to get hot. We saw the temperature go from 70 degrees slowly to 110 degrees while driving the Las Vegas. It was tough keeping track of...

NBA in Vegas

I went to Vega s on Saturday July 14, 2007. At night, like around 12:30am, before my girlfriend and I left, we went to gamble to see how it is - there's no picture taking in the gambling area, so I didn't bring my camera. Then after we lost all our money after 5 minutes (damn slots), we just decided to walk around. We went to Caesar's Palace to see the Forum Shops, but then we went through the casino and got kinda lost A LOT - we were looking for the exit so we know which part of the casino/hotel/the strip we were at. Then we ended up near club PURE, and it was so crowded that we couldn't even exit that way, so we hadda exit some seldom used exit near the back. As we were going out, my girlfriend noticed some lady all dressed in EXPENSIVE clothes, and I looked and it was Derek Fisher's wife, along with Derek Fisher. Then I said "Hey! Derek Fisher!" because we brushed shoulders (well, not with D.Fish - with his wife), then he turned his head a little and said "Hey." really ...

888 231 7557
2007-07-13 21:55:00
Stupid 888 231 7557 called me again. They asked for a de Leon, but not my first name - it was a different one that I couldn't make out, but it seemed like one of the older relatives' name. The nice lady was asking if I was "still" interested in something with a Mortuary. She insisted that I had received a letter in the mail. Then said that they're going to be in town and asked if I was interested in going to a "meeting" or some "convention" or something. I couldn't really tell what they were really talking about, just about a Mortuary. Then I asked "How did you get my number?" The lady was talking in a nice manner, so I asked that question in a nice manner. Then she replied, "They gave it to me." So I asked "Who's they?" At this point she started getting on the defensive, and repeated her answer. So I said, "Ok, but who's THEY?" Then she sounded like she was caught up in words (or lack thereof) and just hung up. It's pretty annoying, but hey, might as well have f...

Lily Garden in Cypress
2007-07-13 12:21:00
I finally ate at the Lily Garden restaurant in Cypress. It is on Valley View between Orange and Lincoln. I thought that it was run by some cook I knew. It's not. The food was pretty good. I got the Lily Sizzling Three Delight (or something like that), and it was good. It came with shrimp, chicken, and beef with some broccoli and mushrooms. It was pretty good. The noodles that Maricel had weren't as good, but it was still ok. The service was nice, except there was like one or two waitresses that just had a little straight-faced "something wrong with them" look. The others were nice, and it was a pretty good environment. I think overall it was pretty good, but it wasn't run by Scott, the old cook I knew. For about $7, my meal was a pretty good deal.

888 231 7557
2007-07-07 11:49:00
The Mortuary Telemarketer. Today, I got a call from (888) 231-7557. I didn't know the number (although I've gotten a call before about some English thing or Spanish thing), but then I just answered anyway. I was waiting at a car dealership, and I had time. I answered the call and they asked for someone who's not ME, but with the same last name. They said that they got something I mailed in to then that says that I'm interested about learning about what they have to sell. It turns out that they were calling from a mortuary and they wanted to sell me some products or some spots or spaces or something. I had no idea what they were really talking about because their reception was really bad and they kept getting choppy. I told them I was interested and when the "meeting" or whatever they were inviting me to was. The nice young lady was about to tell me, but then she got cut off. Next time, I will try to talk more and see what is up. I don't have the balls to actually go ...

Transformers 4.75/5
2007-07-04 13:37:00
I watched Tran sformer s tonight. I loved it. I never watched the cartoons when I was younger so I wouldn't know if the story didn't follow. But from a "newcomer" point of view, it was a really good movie. The Good: It was awesome. The transforming was very cool. They used the original voice of Optimus Prime just like the cartoons. Shia LaBeouf was good in it. Very visually pleasing. Different stories come together. Some humor made the movie even better. The Bad: Being a sound guy, I might have been the only one to really notice, or get annoyed by it. There were times when they just cut out the audio from characters when they use profanity. "Mother___" they don't do it smoothly sometimes. It just goes blank. There were also some parts where the character was talking (Megan Fox and Tyrese Gibson), but no sound was coming out. Overall: It's a really good movie. If you want to go just to see how they look while transforming, it'll be worth it. I would give it a 4.7...

Relay For Life
2007-07-01 22:43:00
Relay For Life just ended. Relay For Life is a fundraising event of the American Cancer Society, and is now held in many other countries. It is an overnight event designed to spread awareness of cancer prevention, treatments and cures, celebrate survivorship and raise money for research to find more cures for cancer. History: Relay For Life was started in May 1985 in Tacoma, Washington. Dr. Gordy Klatt, a colorectal surgeon, spent 24 hours circling the track at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. He raised $27,000 for cancer research. The scale of Relay is now enormous. In 2006, over three million people took part in more than 4,600 Relays in the USA alone. Over half a million cancer survivors walked the opening lap, a traditional part of all Relays, and over $375 million was raised, making it by far the biggest single fundraising activity in the world. In 2005, the UK had 15 Relays and raised over £359,000. In 2006, over 40 Relays were planned. This expansion is set to con...

I spent all of last night reformatting my computer. It took a LONG time, and I still haven't reinstalled all the necessary stuff. BUT WOW! My computer's REALLY FAST! I have 1GB RAM and after reformatting, it starts up FAST (30-60 seconds), and shuts down even faster! I finally can watch YouTube videos without it skipping all the time! YAYEE!

The Scheme Artist
2007-06-27 00:45:00
MY dad was telling me about a guy he knew. He worked at the bank. Then when people send in money to be deposited on Friday, the guy would take that money, and take it to the casinos and play, and usually win. Then on money, he would deposit the money for whoever sent it in. He never got caught, but some people told the bank that they know that something's fishy. The bank decided to fire him on suspicion. That's pretty bad how he was using other people's money to gamble and keep the profit. What would happen if he lost? The thing is, this bastard never lost. He never came out negative. Then after he got fired from the bank, he started to become a pastor. He got some online Pastor thing, and has his own thing he runs out of his garage. He has 16 faithfuls who pay - I mean "donate" - $1 to $5 per week to worship God in his garage. He reads the readings and Gospels and give his own Homily. This guy's pretty shady.

Chris BenWHACK

This was taken directly from CTV.ca. "Canadian pro-wrestler Chris Benoit strangled his wife and suffocated his son before hanging himself with a pulley on a weightlifting machine, a law enforcement official said Tuesday." What a bastard! How can you kill your wife and kid?!? They said he was found with steroids in his body. They said he killed his wife and kid on Saturday, and later on Saturday or early Sunday, he killed himself. How selfish do you have to be to kill yourself, then on top of that, before you go, you kill your wife and kid!??! C'Mon. What a Bastard.

Evan Almighty Review - Rent it.
2007-06-23 03:19:00
Not a clip from the movie I watched Evan Almighty today. Personally, I loved it. I still think that $175,000,000 was way too much that they spent on it though. I love Steve Carell, and his antics. He's so good at those awkward moments - it's so funny when he's in an awkward situation. You'll get some laughs and stuff, and some heartfelt moments. The laughs do not compare to any other movie out these days - they don't compare... in a negative way. The CGI was good - and they didn't do that cheesy "oh the animals talk!" stuff. But they didn't do anything to "blow you away". It seems like a simple story with a good, heartfelt message. It's like one of those movies that you wouldn't really want to watch in a theater. Maybe renting it, or watching it in class would make you love it. The Reason Why I Like It: It has a good message. It's clean, but still funny - to me... which means it can be VERY corny). Steve Carell is cool in my eyes. The ending was not predictab...

ACWW: 324 Bells For One Turnip
2007-06-23 02:59:00
I was playing Animal Crossing: Wild World and I go everyday before and after 12pm. I do this to check how much the turnips are, and sell them to Tom Nook. This week, I bought turnips from Joan for 97 bells. It seemed like an OK price. (Last week, I bought turnips for 104 bells each, and Tom Nook was buying them for 67-80 bells every day!) Then I got to Wednesday at 10am. He was buying turnips for 120 bells, and that's a good deal - 23 bell profit every turnip. I sold half of my turnips. Then after 12pm, he was buying turnips for 134 - 37 bell profit per turnip. I sold the other half, and that's pretty good because I got a profit. Then today, I turned on the game at around 10am. I went to Tom Nook's Nookington's and he was buying turnips for 324 bells! That's a 227 bell profit EACH turnip! I didn't have any turnips anymore, so too bad for me! I had 3,000 turnips this week, and i could have gotten 3,000 x 227 = 681,000 bell profit total! AHH!!
