2008-11-01 06:46:00 Several days ago Indonesia finally passed the Pornography Bill despite the fact of controversies that arouse and how two political parties refused to sign and join the horde.Once I talked about this in my blog here (using Bahasa Indonesia) and how the representatives from the parties explained why we don't really need the Bill. When the Bill passed on, there were pros and cons. Those who are agree with the Bill asked, "why would you oppose to something that actually protecting you?"Well the problem is, it's not about being protected or what. It's about how we take actions in any stuffs in our life. Do we really that dumb so we need to be told that putting vulgar pictures for young children is wrong? Well, yeah, okay, some people at TV stations are having IQ below the room temperature which kinda explains the shenanigans in our society, but then again, REALLY?Me myself feel offended. Because I could saying out loud about my thoughts and opinions. 2008-10-22 14:26:00 No. This is not me.I should tell you that Twitter is pretty much evil. So, @treespotter just tagged me in his evil plan to talk about boobs since he hasn't got Miyabi's yet.And talking about boobs, so I should talk about it since yeah, I have boobs - lets just say, an insider's perspective. A talk about a particular topic and the next day I blog about it) when we talked about the size. Thanks to the media, some men have this wishful thinking about boobs. For them, minimum size should be B-cup. No less than that. More than B-cup, that would be pretty okay for them. While majority of Indonesian girls, we have A-cup boobs. However, if we should ask to the girls themselves, some of them think that it's better to have smaller boobs compared to the big ones. Why? [English] Perceived Value v. Real Value
2008-10-21 13:32:00 Right-o, during past two entries, I mentioned about 'perceived value'. First off, if you want to know more about it, I suggest you read this article by Aulia. Now, lets go to the meaning of 'value' itself. A value is the advantages that you get when you're using a particular product/service divided by the price of the product/service itself. However, the price of the product/service could be taken as 'real value'. That is, the costs to make the product/service.How about 'perceived value'? I should say that one's perceived value is very very subjective because a person couldn't have same standards of value with another person. Perceived value is when somebody bought a dress from SOGO, Metro or Debenhams with such outrageously expensive price while you might see nothing from that dress but ugly dress (in your opinion.) It's like you're questioning yourself when you saw that line of queue when Apple launched iPhone. "What's so good from iPhone?" you might ask that and when... More About: English , Real
[English] Okay, this one makes me THINK and asking myself questions.
2008-10-20 14:12:00 First off this is the original entry by Seth Godin. And yes, now I'm asking the question. Once I tried to put dollar/rupiah/any money currency-sign to my hobby, will it be the same with what I have done so far?I keep stressing to myself that the most important thing in doing your job is about passion. Never ever do the job only for the sake of the money because in the end you would end up doing mediocre things. 'Good enough'-stuffs. And stuffs as 'good enough'-stuffs never good.If you're doing it because you are having your passion in it, you could excel yourself and you could give everything that you got. I love these words:On the other hand, poets don't get paid. Even worse, poets that try to get paid end up writing jingles and failing and hating it at the same time.I think it would be everybody's - be it blogger, artist, writer, etc - nightmare. 2008-10-20 07:05:00 This entry is fully inspired from Navinot: The economy of scarcity (in Bahasa Indonesia) where my online friend, Toni, blogged about Seth Godin's article regarding Scarcity Economy (or why exclusive goods always sold out despite they are being, well, exclusive.)First off, yeah, okay, why? Why some people would line up for newly released and limited edition iPhone?Letsee the basic stuffs in Marketing :DWhy people buy? Because we have products/services, we have time, we have place to buy and the products/services have value.Remember the magic word: Value. From all the needs, demands, requests and words from the customers/consumers, everything is going down to one single question. Why should I buy your product/services? Cui bono? What's in it for me?Oh and believe me, whenever you try to answer that question, make sure you have the right words because people would ask you back with: "Yeah right. 2008-10-15 09:44:00 When I told my friend that I'm joining Blog Action Day 2008 with the theme of 'Poverty', she laughed and told me,"I believe you have many stuffs to say because Indonesia is a day-to-day poverty."Such a cruel irony, eh?So, why poverty at Indonesia? How come such thing as poverty ever exist in Indonesia, a country with rich resources?I kinda familiar with this poverty issue because: 1.) I use public transportation daily and the image isn't very pleasant I tell you that. I see the worst part of humanity, but sometimes, the best part also. 2.) My neighbor is a poor family.First off, the corruption. Oh admit it, Indonesia is rich with natural resources that lead people to corrupt it. And a thing called corruption is never good for anybody. Dialog Aktual TVRI - Senin, 22 September
More About: September

Ya gimana ya mbak... Abis angkotnya sensitif sih...
2008-09-16 05:16:00 Angkot itu buat saya itu benci tapi rindu, hehe. Benci banget kalo ngetem, huuu, lama banget.
Hehe.Sebenernya ini obrolan lama sih. Udah cukup lama gitu waktu itu saya lagi ngobrol sama Arya. Saya ga tau gimana awalnya, tapi tiba-tiba jadi percakapan soal hak memberikan suara.
