Photo: APY'a des bombardiers russes qui se promènent un peu partout pour faire des tests de ravitaillement et de tir de missile de longue portée. Paraîtrait qu'ils sont très aventureux nos p'tits russes. Je me demande, est-ce qu'il faut vraiment partir en peur? Thank you :)Isn't this awesome? This is what wil be the first scene of the Saw IV movie, it was shown at Comic Con this year. I must say I completely love the cruelty and brilliance of this first scene, with one man blinded and the other muted. I mean, it's fun to see how easily they could get out of this one but can't since they can't communicate :)

Agréable découverte musicale aujourd'hui : Dream Theater et leur nouvel album Systematic Chaos. Ça me fait beaucoup penser à Liquid Tension Experiment, mais ça doit être du au fait que John Petrucci, Mike Portnoy et Jordan Rudess, 3 des 4 membres du défunt LTE, font parti du band. - Can't find a good leak of the new Nightwish, Dark Passion Play, I keep downloading the album, but an idiot keeps telling what we're listening to over the song, several times per song. And the album is only out on September 28!! Which brings me to 2 things : Why the hell do artists/labels wait so damn long before releasing their album? Especially when it's complete! Yesterday saw the montreal stop of the Rape The World tour featuring Marilyn Manson and Slayer (?!?). I'm still finding the choice of Slayer as tour partner very weird, you'll see why, besides the obvious lack of musical comparison between the two, later on.I wasn't supposed to see Slayer initially,but due to my girlfriend changing her mind, I saw most of their show. I didn't know them beforehand very much, so no sentimental value, but it was ok. My girlfriend pointed that it was mostly noise and I can't really say anything against that. But it wasn't bad, they do have good solos in their songs.During all of Slayer's set, I felt like a night club's door -> squeezed between 2 goons. But the people on the left of us left during Are You The Rabbit? So we went from stuck to having a lot of room all of a sudden. Speaking of people leaving, a great deal of people were there only for Slyer and left once they we're done, the floor wasn't full at all during Manson's set.Set that l...

C'était l'arrêt montréalais hier de la tournée Rape The World regroupant Marilyn Manson et Slayer(?!?). Je trouve toujours très douteux le choix de Slayer pour faire la tournée avec Manson, vous verrez pourquoi, entre autres et sans parler des styles musicaux disparates, plus loin.Je n'étais pas sensé voir Slayer, mais du aux pressions de ma blonde qui changea d'avis, j'ai vu une bonne partie de leur show. Je ne les connais pas, donc aucune valeur sentimentale, mais j'ai trouvé ça correct. Ma blonde me faisant remarquer que c'était juste du vargeage et je ne peux pas vraiment contredire ça... Mais c'était quand même pas mauvais, y'a de beaux solos dans les tounes de Slayer.Tout le long de Slayer, je me suis senti comme une porte de boîte de nuit -> pogné entre 2 goons. Une nouvelle sur Cyberpresse nous apprend que Marco Polo aurait peut-être découvert l'Amérique avant Christophe Colomb. 200 ans plus tôt.Ce serait un document montrant plusieurs régions dont la côte ouest de l'Amérique qui attribuerait la découverte à l'autre.Honnêtement, je trouve légèrement puéril qu'on s'attarde à ces sottises. Comment peut-on "découvrir" un continent déjà habité? Pourquoi l'histoire est-elle toujours écrite en fonction de nous? Oui "nous" avons trouvé l'Amérique, mais elle n'était pas libre ni vide, des gens habitaient déjà ici.La version amérindienne doit probablement, ou devrait, faire état de la "découverte" comme le début de la descente aux enfers.C'est fou ce que l'histoire peut avoir l'air un coup qu'on regarde l'envers de la médaille et qu'on arrête de glorifier de vulgaires explorateurs qui n'ont que permis à leur pays de trouver des terres et des peuples à piller.
