I had to be at the train station before 6am to get my ticket, the train was departing 6:12am sharp.When I decided to go by train instead of a plane I had no idea what I was up against. I thought wow a Wild West adventure, lots of fun stuff to see and do. The Romance of jaunting across the country with no kids just my wits, trusty laptop and the anticipation of seeing my sweetheart was all I needed. This was my maiden voyage and man was I excited! Amtrak the plushest and comfiest ride guaranteed, they advertised. 2007-06-22 12:03:00 Hey everyone! so sorry I haven't posted in awhile but I have been recuperating from that two day amtrack train ride across the country! My bottom, legs, back, you name it was sore after that. When they advertised the seats as plush as lazyboy recliners, they lied the bastards!! It was more like a greyhound bus with no tilt button.The first night I slept in the seat it was pure murder then the second night I got smart :) I took my blanket and the insanely thin pillow they give you and went to the observation car. I slept on the floor and I was in heaven. I stretched out and fell right to sleep :) I was not the only one doing this alot of people were so I didn't feel to weird except for the next day when I woke up and was the only one still laying on the floor and everyone was staring at me lmao!! I just laughed and said "Damn that was the best night I ever had on this train", they completely understood. I will be back later to tell you all about the sights and people... More About: Journey

There was nothing she wouldn't do for her children. This year all the women in my family are stepping in for her and wrapping our arms around the kids for Paige. My mother is one of the most brave dedicated women in the world. She took care of Paige while she was dying and I know that was the hardest thing my mother has ever had to do in her life. Being a mother is tough, hard, sacrificing, but one of the most rewarding jobs in the world. I remember something my oldest daughter said to me and I will never forget it. She said "Mom all these years you have done so much for us and loved us unconditionally, you would move mountains to make sure that we are all safe and you are the safest place I know." I have been out of town visiting my baby and having alot of fun :) We had no kids for two weeks whoo hooo oh yeah we painted the town RED!!! Looks like I will be moving and I feel really good about it. My school as of May will be done so now it is time to get a real job heheh. Of course I will still be on Xanga! but some major life changes will be going on the next couple of months. My oldest daughter is looking at wedding dresses that cost in the range of 2500 dollars!!! I am like wait a min sweety I don't have a money tree growing out back, but man that dress looks like it came out of my Romance Novel.
