Gotta Love It!
2008-06-10 21:55:00 I love having a computer with a wireless card in it. It’s so nice to be able to tap into the city’s free wireless internet and not have to actually pay for internet service. Living downtown does have it’s advantages on occasion. I’m also close to most of the utilities and hospital. LOL In any ... More About: Love , Blogging , Love it , Gotta
Enough with the Spam!
2008-06-08 19:25:00 And I don’t mean the edible variety. I swear I get spam all the time. I mean, my email address for this domain, if I didn’t have a lot of stuff that was tied to it, I’d seriously get rid of it. The spam is that bad. And all the filters on the planet can’t ... 2008-06-08 04:58:00 In light of recent events at work, where they suddenly decided after being in the building for a year and a half to start actually trying to take care of the plants in the atriums, and bringing them back to life, my allergies have gone crazy. How crazy you ask? Well, I can’t talk! I ... More About: Blogging , Goodness
Hello? I?m 32!
2008-06-02 05:35:00 Ok, I am fully admitting that I am 32 years old. Why is this important? Because I am sick and tired of having acne! Now according to my doctor, the reason I have acne is because of my PCOS. Ok, fine. So what am I supposed to do about it? According to the doctor, nothing. ... More About: Blogging
And I have them why?
2008-05-31 02:46:00 I swear, I am the queen of having things I don’t bother to use. Seriously. I have a lot of books I don’t read, which is why a lot of them are going on Paperback Swap. I have a lot of other stuff I don’t even look at in my apartment which is why I’m ... More About: Blogging
No Supplemental, Thanks
2008-05-30 04:41:00 It’s so funny, at work they’re talking about benefits like we don’t already know all about them since we’ve all been there long enough to get them. But we let the people from HR ramble on about them. They kept talking about us getting supplemental life insurance to go with the insurance they automatically give ... More About: Blogging
Here Kitty Kitty
2008-05-30 03:44:00 I swear, my cat is a sweet heart, but a royal pain in the butt. I spend more money on cat supplies than one would honestly think. He’s a toy-cat, meaning he loves toys, he uses a good bit of litter, and only scoopable will do, and he will only eat one brand of cat ... More About: Blogging , Kitty
Sick of it all
2008-05-28 05:24:00 I really am. I’m sick of all the crap at work. Now they say that we have a call certification process to go through and that if we don’t pass, we’ll lose our jobs. All that is well and good, but frankly, I don’t do well with calls I know are fake. I’m seriously thinking ... More About: Blogging , Sick

2008-05-18 23:19:00 I’ve been checking out some really interesting little shops all over the internet lately. People have shops for everything from hand sewn stuffed animals to handcrafted jewelry! It’s amazing and really neat. I wish I made anything that was worth actually paying to have one of those neat little shops. I mean, I do crochet, ... More About: Love , Blogging , Love it , Gotta

2008-05-17 03:50:00 A little late, I know, but I had to get my laptop to where I had a connection that would actually allow me to upload my song. Finally some Spring/Summer Weather!
2008-05-17 02:13:00 We’ve been waiting impatiently for the weather to actually bother to change to being warm. If You?d Have Told Me
2008-05-15 03:22:00 If anyone would have told me a couple of months ago when Stream celebrated their 1 year anniversary of having the Road Runner contract that Road Runner would pull out of our call center, I’d have said you were crazy. 2008-05-12 01:03:00 Between the unseasonably cold weather (it was 34 this morning when I got up, and that’s WAY too low for this time of year), and my having apparently picked up food poisoning at the Applebee’s I had lunch at today, I am ready for a long vacation. On the Router
2008-05-02 10:21:00 One of the nice things about spending my weekends at my best friend’s house is that she has a router already. I’m not sure what brand it is, but I do know it’s not wireless. LOL We’re both wired to the router even though we both have wireless cards in our laptops. Go figure. When I get my internet back, I’m going to get a wireless Linksys router set up on my connection so I can have both computers on, AND I’m going to make sure to secure the network. I’m not having any of my neighbors getting smart with my connection! This post was created by Charity @ Gothic Peach. On the Router
Kaneva
2008-04-30 05:43:00 Well, I’ve discovered that Kaneva doesn’t work on my new laptop. It’s supposed to work with Vista, and it does on my best friend’s computer, but it won’t on mine. Maybe there’s something in the hardware requirements that’s changed? Although we both have 1GB of memory on our laptops, and Kaneva is the only thing that won’t run. But perhaps I need to do an upgrade of the laptop memory? I’ll have to see about that because the laptop isn’t technically mine until I pay it off. LOL But I’m sure that a memory upgrade wouldn’t hurt either. This post was created by Charity @ Gothic Peach. Kaneva
Holy Cow!
2008-04-28 03:49:00 I am so glad I do not live in the San Antonio area. As I’m sitting here at work, I am trying to transfer someone to the local Time Warner office in San Antonio and just heard that the expected wait time is 1 hour 26 minutes - 2 hours. I’m going to wait on the line for a few minutes though, because I know that sometimes, that wait time is not the real wait time, especially when it is a transfer from my level of support. I tried to drop some entrecards from my desk here at work, but although I could load the entrecard website, half the sites wouldn’t load, as our proxy server blocks blogger.com websites. So I can’t drop entrecards right now. Bleh. I wish I could because I’ve been really bad about dropping my cards lately. My only problem is, besides not having access to the internet at home, I have 4 blogs at entrecard right now, and they recently started limiting how many cards you can drop from a particular IP address per day. So if you have more than... More About: Holy , Holy Cow

Um, Poker Anyone?
2008-04-20 03:42:00 I will never understand poker. It’s not that I haven’t tried, but I can’t get the hang of it. It just seems like that is one game I’ll never understand. Oh well. I can deal with it. I don’t have to play poker. So I guess it’s a good thing I’ve never ordered one of those poker tables, isn’t it? LaShawn can play Texas Hold ‘Em pretty well, but even though she’s tried to explain it to me, I just don’t ever seem to catch on. I guess I’ll just play something else. Housing Innovations
2008-04-20 03:01:00 More and more I am amazed by the innovations that are being made concerning housing. Just a few years ago, when my mom was still alive and not yet bed ridden, there weren’t nearly as many innovations for disabled people. When my mom passed away in 2005, the only places I knew of that had walk in tubs were nursing homes. The general public didn’t have that option. Now private citizens can have one and keep their independence while still taking baths by themselves. I’ve seen newer and better wheelchair ramps built onto houses, and I’ve even seen homes that have had previous ramps removed and look like the ramps were never there. I honestly wish a lot of those things had been around when my mom was still alive. Her quality of life once she’d become disabled would have been so much better. Music!
2008-04-19 10:52:00 I’ve been rediscovering some of my old favorite bands. I never realized that Poison was still recording songs, but I found a version of Justin Timberlake’s “Sexy Back” by them. And Motley Crue is coming back with a new CD AND a tour called Crue Fest with Sixx AM, Trapt, and a couple of other bands. It sounds awesome. I hope they come around here. Makes me think of my old t-shirts. I haven’t seen any of them in ages, except my Type O Negative shirt. That one I’ve still got. It’s the ONLY one of my band shirts I still have. As far as I know. I miss my band shirts. I used to have 3 Motley Crue shirts, a couple Def Leppard shirts, a Candlebox shirt, 2 Type O Negative shirts, you get the picture. Yeah, I was a band shirt junkie. I’d love to have some again, but can’t afford them. Maybe someday. This post was created by Charity @ Gothic Peach. Music !
Writer?s Strike?
More articles from this author:2008-04-12 07:29:00 You know, the funniest thing about the writer’s strike was that I barely noticed it.
