Hannah Montana 3D Afternoon
2008-02-04 00:00:00 I took Allison and her girlfriend to see the Hannah Montana concert movie in 3D this afternoon. We got our tickets about a month ago because they were selling out so fast. I am so glad I did. We had a really good time ! The girls were so excited that they were counting down the day until today get here. They were both so cute. They danced and partied all morning while getting ready together, doing their hair and stuff. At 11:00am Gerry let them take over the living room until it was time to go. Girl time! We got there about a half hour before the show started and the line of little girls was already long down the hall and around the corner. There was hundreds of preteen girls singing and dancing in every isle of the theater. I have to say from a mom?s point of view it was a lot of good clean fun. The movie was well made and was defiantly the best 3D effects I have ever seen. I really enjoyed seeing the girls have such a good time and I found myself having fun and even sin... I remembered that I had slid some heavy boxes and other crap in to our bedroom attic a least a week ago. About the same amount of time I have been missing the clothes, hum? So I pulled open the door that we keep nailed shut and I?ll be damned, there it was. Under a Christmas wreath and a box of baby toys there was my basket of laundry. All are dark colors. Okay, I ask my daughter who brings her laundry to our house to do every week if she took a load of mine home by mistake. Makes sense to me. She says no, there is no way she has them because all of her laundry is put away and she doesn?t have any of my missing clothes. All the bills are coming in from Christmas shopping and I always, always over spend. We always get hit with a bunch of snow and now that the holidays are past I am always ready for spring. 2008-01-26 00:00:00 I went to bed with a headache and woke up with it hurting even worse. I just took a hot shower and a couple of sinus pills. Since I have today off I might try and close my eyes for another hour after Allison leaves for school. Some times that is the only thing that works.
Family TLC
2008-01-26 00:00:00 I have a list of errands to do this afternoon with Allison as soon she gets home from her half day of school. One stop on our list is the video store. Tonight it?s all up to her. She?s the boss for our Friday Family Fun night tonight. I see hot dogs or pizza happening for dinner, a few board games being played and all of us piling in the living room with our blankets and popcorn to watch this. I love these nights together. Some times a little family TLC is just what I need.

2008-01-22 00:00:00 Gerry and I watched Death Sentence staring Kein Bacon last night. First let me just say it is NOT a movie to watch right before going to bed. We both tossed and turned through the night. I am not sure how to review this movie. But I?ll give it a try under the cut because of possible spoilers.... Key points if you don?t want to know any thing that MIGHT be a spoiler , violent, very violent, over the top acting but sucked me in to the story. Depressing, very depressing. One Lucky Little Girl
2008-01-20 00:00:00 As it turns out Allison will be the only one of us going with my parents to London this April. I just got the okay from her teacher. No worries when it comes to school. With Gerry?s new job there is just no way he can get the time off. I was close to tagging along myself leaving only my husband behind but I forgot to count my lost wages in to the equation as well. It?s just too much money for us this year. No matter how I go over the numbers, it?s just not in the cards for us. In fact my mother and step dad are picking up their flight tickets this afternoon. It?s going to be really hard on me knowing Allison is that far away from us for those two weeks. But I know my parents will take good care of her and it?ll be a wonderful experience. I wouldn?t want her to miss it. They are even planning a visit to Paris during the two week trip.
