Just because the holidays are over doesn?t mean all the good deals are gone. I have been shopping around for a new cell phone for about a month now. Comparing every price and plan I can find. Let me tell you, there are a lot of them! So far I really like T-Mobile phones the best. I have purchased 13 out my 15 URL?s through them and have been very happy. I don?t see me going any where else. I can?t believe another week has gone by and I still have not changed over this site. Between work, home, my other blogs and my Twitter obsession I just haven?t had the time to make the changes I have in mind here. I?ve made a point of making no real plans this weekend so I am hoping to have WP set up and all of my fun idea?s in place. I am really looking forward to getting things moving. I decided what I want to do with this blog. I am going to keep it but change the subject from me to something much more fun. Now, I just need to come up with the time to make this big change. The last couple of years I have given both sets of grandparents Custom Calendars for Christmas. Let me tell you, that was the best idea I have ever had. They are simple and so much fun to make. I have even been taking photos of the kids all year round with putting together the calendar in mind. They are so loved and give all kinds of smiles and laughs. Getting ready for winter

I was just thinking how I can?t believe it?s time to get ready for winter again. We have already pulled down the storm the windows and retracted the screens. Over last weekend I packed up all the summer clothes and pulled out all of our long sleeve shirts. I searched the back of our shoe closet to see which of us will need new boots and who?s still have life left in them. I was the only lucky one! My boots look great from last year but my daughter and husband will need new. I am thinking Gerry will need work boots for sure. He practically lives in them so we?ll be buying him more then one good pair soon. That?s the easy one thanks to http://www.workbootsusa.com . The not so easy one will be our daughter. Nine is not a fun age to shop with. She?ll have to see what the other kids are wearing first, I am sure.

I got this box of goodies from Every Body?s Nuts asking me to review their Pistachio products. My granddaughter was more then happy to get the googly eyed stuffed pistachio to play with, my daughter was happy to get her hands on the t shirt and hat and the funny little comics we found inside. But lets talk about what the big prize we found inside of this fun box . The delicious Pistachios !! Roasted & Salt, Roasted with No Salt, European Roast and Salt & Pepper. OH my goodness !! We as a house hold have become addicted to snacking on them. Which is not a bad thing at all. Turns out they are not only delicious but also a guilt free snack. They are a great source of fiber and really heart healthy as well. That is what we needed around here! No sign of relief

I just read that gas prices are expected to hit $5.00 a gallon in my area over the next month or two. WTF? I drive forty minutes each way to work and it?s killing me at $4.09 a gallon already. The cost of gas is effecting everything. I see it when I go to the grocery store big time. With no sign of relief or pay raises in sight it?s really freaking me out. How much more can it cost to just live?

I can take the heat and the boys

In light of my last post and freaking out I decided to stop in a local pizza place that had been advertising for part time help on their flyer?s to see if they would hire me for a couple evenings a week. The lady pretty much laughed at me. Said she mainly hires mouthy teenage boys that I would have to deal with and pointed out it gets easily over a hundred degrees in there in the summer time. I told her I could handle the heat and the boys with out a problem but when I said I have mostly just office experience, I could see the look on her face. It was like yeah, right! She said she would keep me in mind but I doubt I?ll hear from her. I am pretty bummed because it?s literally a couple blocks from my house.
