Cleaning Out the Inside

One of the things I noticed about losing weight this past year is that it will not happen (at least for me) without good fiber in your diet and keeping the inside clean, you know?  It's not just all about portion control, but what you actually put into your body and the more good stuff you eat the more of that kind of food you actually start to want.  Another good idea to keep the gunk out is liver cleanse to stay healthy.  Always check with your doctor before trying internal supplements.  Make sure that it is ok for your current health.

Don't you hate all those little usb flash drives that stick out like a sore thumb on your computer?  I found this great site that offers some variances to the standard rectangular shape.  They have them customized to look like cars, shoes, flashlights, helmets, etc.  They are so cute!  Ok, so I'm a girly girl and like things to look neat and matchy, but they really are different.Cool thing, too, is that the more you buy, the lower the price per piece is.  So you could be looking at something to sell on Ebay, Right?

I've lost almost 28 pounds in the last 2 years.  Yeah, me! Most of it was simply eating better and not stuffing myself as I am apt to do.  Sigh.  But I did take a supplement as first to kick things off.  While we all want to lose weigh fast, fat burners should only be used short term, in my opinion.  It helped me get started, and then I felt more like eating better and realized that  stuffing myself (l LOVE food!) was making me miserable.  Once those pants feel a little looser when you drop about 5 pounds, it motivates you.  Hang on to that motivation.  It may take a little while, but you will feel better and better.  Also, losing weight a bit slower will help keep you from sagging and looking 10 years older when you lose weight.  I'm 42 and that was what I was afraid of.  But getting a kick start on your weight loss is a huge motivator.   Just be sure that whatever and however you lose weight is right for you a...

I think a lot of us are feeling the crunch of mortgages these days.  Especially if you have a high interest rate.  While refinancing is not the option for everyone, if you do have a high or fluctuating interest rate if may be in your favor to check out some mortgage lenders just to see what they can offer you.  Get a quote and work with the numbers to see if it is beneficial to you to do anything or stay where you are.  Refinancing is NOT for a quick fix.  Make sure that you consider what it's going to look like 10 years from now and make sure you understand all the bells and whistles.

Logo Pens for Your Business or Blog

I think a cool way to promote not only your business, but your blog as well (after all, for a lot of us it IS our business) is logo pens.   Imagine if you have a blog say for scrap booking where you sell crafts for scrap book projects and blog about it.  You could put your logo and blog address on these great looking pens and pass them out to people you know or at places like the pediatrician's office.  Mom's, especially new ones, love that kind of thing.Or if you had a blog about cars, you could pass them out to people you know and car shows, etc.  It doesn't matter what you are promoting whether it be your blog or a nanny service.  Logo pens are excellent to promote with and everyone loves free stuff!

Have you seen all the handmade jewelry that's becoming so popular?  I am thinking of checking into this as a business.  There is a site that has the most gorgeous pearls called Akoya pearls.  They are so glossy and classy looking.  Not the cheap, imitation kind that you see so much.  This is the kind of pearl that I would want to promote if I were into this business.  People would go crazy for them.  I found them for sale on Pearlparadise.com.

I'm not into body building myself and am afraid of steroids.  I already use an inhaler for my asthma and when I get bronchitus they put me on prednisone which gains me an immediate 5 to 7 pounds.  Thank goodness I haven't had to take it in the last few years.  But if you are wanting to put on some muscle there is a site that claims they have a legal muscle builder called prohormones.  As always, check with your doctor before starting any kind of weight loss or gain.

If you could just get people to look at a 30 second video of you explaining your offer or your site, do you think it would bring you more money?  I am thinking about this for Debs Lounge.  Buzzshed is a place that pays people 30 cent to watch a 30 second video.  So you would have an immediate audience.  Of course, this is not free advertising for you as you do have to pay for it.  But it is an interesting idea to help get people interested in what you have to offer.  I mean, instead of just relying on your writing ability, you could do a video of yourself explaining what your particular program is all about and what it does for you, whether it be about money or beauty supplies, etc.  For some that works better.  Buzzshed is also still letting people sign up for watching the videos for pay, although right now they have more viewers and are looking for more advertisers.  This is an established audience with a program that pays!  Check ...

I found a site that has free shipping and discounts on ellipticals which can work whatever part of your body you need to tone.  Like buns, thighs, back of legs, etc.  This is a club quality machine and they also have it in the space saver size.  That's usually half my problem when it comes to bringing in exercise equipment.  I do not have any room for it and even if I start using it on a regular basis, it becomes a pain to put up and take out.  The kids want to play with it if you leave it out and then you have to worry about them messing it up or company coming and not wanting to step over it or around it like you do.

I found a site that offers subtitling for videos and dvds, where ever you have a need.  For libraries, corporations, independent producers, schools, government agencies, etc they have been providing quality subtitling since 1997.  Video Caption Corporation has all this in over 40 languages.  I don't know how they do it, but they provide localization, not just translation.

I found a site that offers Orovo  products online.  It's called, of course, The Orovo Store.  These products have a great reputation.  They are not cheap, but anything that does work is not cheap.  I have not tried them myself, but looking at at online reviews the results seem to be doing pretty well.  The site has products for weight loss and acne, which I had already heard of, but I did not know that they also carry muscle builders.The original Orovo supplement has Idebenone, which is an anti-aging ingredient first marketed by the makers of Botox.  Looks like an interesting product to try.  They also offer a MLM opportunity at orovo.com if you are interested.

Get Paid with Audio Ads On Your Site

Net Audio Ads is an affiliate program that allows you to get paid every time someone visits your site with no ads to click or anything to buy.  How does it work?  You sign up, place a java script code onto your site (like you would posting any affiliate ad or banner) and the code allows a 5 second audio ad to play each time someone visits your site and you get paid for each visitor to your site.  My concern has been if it would annoy my visitors, but the company says that the ads only last 5 seconds and do not play again unless the visitor refreshes the page and it has been over 3 minutes.  So, I've decided to try it out and see what kind of feedback I get.  That will determine if I continue the program or not.The ads are not playing yet, but should begin in mid March.For site owners, the program just opened back up.
