NIMH Batteries

I am always out of batteries.  I usually think about them when I need them or when I am at home and either the stores are all closed or I just don't want to go back out into town.  Not that we live that far from the stores, but you know how it is once you get in and get settled, suppers on the stove, and you've taken off your shoes and bra!  At least the women know how I feel.  A good place to get nimh batteries is East Coast Photo where you can get your batteries online, when you think about them.  And they always have a category of specials (clearance) whatever, that I love to save money on.

Google Pagerank Update January 2008`

The buzz is out.  Looks like we may be in the middle of a google pagerank update for January 2008.  Bloggers are saying that their pageranks are fluctuating.  I hope Debslounge starts to do something!  I got stripped for paid posts last time.  Oh well.Don't forget to remove all your payperpost ads and paid to review posts ads for a while!  I'm hoping that will help.Everyone have a great day!

What Is A Payday Loan?

A payday loan is a quick loan that you can get based on how much you make and your average balance in your checking account.  There is no credit check, they use the average balance on your checking account to prove you can pay the money back out of your next paycheck.  When should you get a payday loan?  They are really for true emergencies like car repairs, unexpected bills, etc or when sometimes the month runs short.   Just make sure that you consider the interest you will be paying to pay the loan back and be sure you can pay it.  You don't want to overload and not be able to have enough money in the bank for them to get paid.  That can cause a multitude of problems more over than you started out with.  Payday loans are great, just use them wisely.

A Bed For Your Cat

I recently redid my son's room for Christmas and it looks great!  But I found a site that would have added the final touch to it for our cat.  She loves to hang out in my son's room where she can smell him, but I don't want her on the new comforter and blankets.  A cat bed would be ideal and at Catsheaven.com there are all kinds of cat beds and accessories that she would love to lay on and still be close to the one she adores.  And I don't know why.  I'm the one that feeds her.

Losing Weight

I've lost a total of 24 pounds in the last year.  That has made the biggest difference in how I look and feel.  If you could pics of me from New Year's two years ago... Never mind, I think I'll rip those up.  I don't always recommend diet pills, especially ones with ephedra.  There are other solutions, though, like hoodia and slim quick that can be a great starter that gives you some encouragement.  As always, don't be discouraged by slow weight loss.  It is not only better for your health, but gravity won't kick in so hard, either.

Time for a Hot Tub

It is so cold right now!  All I could think of last night was a hot bath and some snuggly socks for my feet.  The bath was great, but did not last long enough and the tub is not big enough to really relax in.  You know you have to bring up your knees or sit up higher leaving your aching back out of the water.  And then, of course, you use all the hot water and the water in the tub cools.  So, you are back to freezing again.  I want a hot tubs!  Have you seen the ones at Hot Tub Headquarters?  They look so delicious!  All that room and all that awesome hot water swirling continuously around you.  I'll have to add that to my Christmas wish lists.  Yes, I know the "list" is plural, not a mistake.

Coolest Microwave Bacon Cooker

Everyone knows my son loves bacon.  If he could have it every night and morning, he would not complain.  Sometimes I will cook it for supper, and then use whatever is left for the next morning.  That is if anything IS left.  As long as it is there, he will eat it.  Trying to be careful about our health is an issue, but bacon is time consuming to cook and that is why I cook it all at one time.  But I found a microwave bacon cooker that is the only one on the market that I have found that is totally enclosed and can be used in the microwave.  This makes for less mess because all the grease it captured in the bottom, and the bacon is always fresh because you can cook as little as 6 slices at a time!  They are always perfect and just enough crispy.  I love this thing as I can make as little as I want in just a few minutes and not have grease everywhere, plus the bacon always taste better as it is fresh and I don't do it all at one time. ...
